Kishimoto may include the NS confession. Three pages will be more than enough, but I doubt he's willing to sacrifice three pages for the sake of romance.

I don't see how he could fit that in. This ending has "Team 7" written all over it, I doubt Naruto and Sakura will get a single moment alone in the remaining chapters.

 

There's still the matter of IT to deal with. I really don't see NS happening in the manga at all.

Yep. Timeskip and a happily married couple. It is the most probable outcome for us.

I still can't talk myself into believing Kishi won't end the manga conclusively. If there are two chapters next week, then that's more than enough pages and panels to do it. Also how come so many of y'all think he would write a romantic subplot and not touch on it at least a little at the end?

Yeah, let's just forget the POAL and that Naruto hasn't confessed to her yet. Might as well not show him becoming Hokage too.

I think both, Naruto & Sasuke won't be accepted as hokages

He's gonna end it, I have no doubt about that. I know the next chapter will have about over 30 pages, so I think that should be enough to finally conclude the series. I'm both happy and sad about this though

If there is not NS romantic moment  so is unfair that one of the main ships  didn't have that resolution but ObiRin can have it

you should keep in mind this isn't a romance shounen. A confession will come, just we still don't know either he will do in the latest two chapter or in the movie.

I don't buy it, there's no buildup to it. At best we'll get an ambiguous ending, he'll show Naruto's son but not who the mother is.

The buildup is in the movie.The movie covers the blank time period of the manga

The manga is the story, it's supposed to stand on its own. I doubt Kishimoto would rely on a movie to address something when he could just address it in the manga. It simply looks like he's not willing to address it at all, which is not surprising considering the kind of manga this is. IF Naruto was going to confess, there would be some indication to it, such as the Sai flashback being brought up again to remind the readers. The way I see it, it's very likely this will just be ignored in favor of a "you decide" ending (and SP may just decide it for us).

 

@above: Naruto's son can look exactly like Naruto.

and About the coloured ones,

I can't say anything

but I am getting a feeling that Sakura will be healing both of them ...and it may have many problems as those hands won't be original

so ....something like Sakura visiting them regularly & .....

Sakura will heal both since they need to make the ras sign for dispeling the Mugen Tsukuyomi, so expect that. A confession sounds too personal for making it in front of everyone. Sasuke doesn't think her as a love interest, but just part of a family..

 

I believe the romance plot will be involved in the movie, after all its poster say "The last story is the beginning of love".

 

We will see an OE in this manga for marketing purposes, of course

Hate it, another 50 days of drama.

I would be too tired to care for any pairing at this rate.

 

Well, there's this typical action ending scene. The girl and the hero kiss in front of the cheering crowd. Sakura has already hugged Naruto in public. A kiss is just another step.
