Apperently there was a anime series called Sasuke Sarutobi. It had 24 episodes.

 

And they say that Kishi defiantly used it for inspiration.

Too bad that Sasuke is not the main character in this manga and is also not in love with sakura XD

Hinata was just a character that he had in design. There was nothing on her role or anything. Just civilian. I read it a long time ago and it was an old post in here.

So it isn't true right, because I have the first volume and I never see that statement in author note.

I saw a clip in youtube. Sarutobi Sasuke acts just like Naruto so that's that.

 

My guess would be that Kishi didn't want to use Sasuke as the name of this main character since it would be unoriginal at that point. So he decided on the more unusual name of Naruto.

It was a statement in a fansbook or somewhere. When someone bought it, it only mention about her design being old. That's it. No role mention, nothing.

Similar to the Jiraiya's novel, but not exactly. It's just she has to go to realization mode. There are many ways. FMA have Winry realized by recounting all the moments because of that last word from Ed (You'll cry for joy next time). There are many different ways.

And sasuke sarutobi is a famous ninja along with Hanzo hattori, and sakura is common girl name.
And sasuke is not a douche, while sasuke(naruto) is.



I have a question, it's true that kishi intend to make Hinata as ramen shop daughter and naruto lover in the first place. Because from what I read kishi intend to make her as a civilian.

 
No, there are many ideas of that Kishi used from the Tales of Jiraiya the Gallant. You just didn't apply them. 
Although those characters(ToJG)  represent Naruto Universe's Jiraiya-Tsuna-Orochimaru, I find that they are more similar to Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke's relationship. But he's not going to actually have every single detail the same of course, that would just be plagiarism and predictable.
 
Sasuke Sarutobi is a fictional ninja and always has been. I did not understand any of those points, sorry ^^
 
Kishimoto's whole Rikudou, Senju, Uchiha is actually a representation of spiritual Japan, and it's really beautiful set up if you ask me. He really likes to use ancient Japanese myths and legends, but he isn't going to take everything. He took what he wanted to use for his story.

Oh brother this isn't any better than using the whole" Dragonball parallel" as evidence.

 

I guess you're willing to do anything when you see your favorite pairing not having any chances of becoming canon in a manga.

I'm not sure if I quite get it. Are you saying that the trio in the Tales of Jiraiya the Gallant resemble Team 7 more than they do the actual Sanin that bear their names in the Naruto story?

 

Does that mean that in the old tale Tsunade was originally in love with Orochimaru? But I hear that eventually she came to marry Jiraiya, didn't she?

Thats a stupid rumor the hinata fans made up, kishi just wrote that hinata was gonna be a civilian but when he made team 8 he was missing a member so he decided to put hinata there, thats all, he never said that she was gonna be the ramen guys daughter and be narutos love interest, I mean c'mon this argument is SO obvious that its fake, so when they say hinata is the ramen guys daughter they're saying that hiashi is the ramen guy? The hyuga guy is the ramen guy? Or did they mean hinata is adopted by the ramen guy? Or is she not hyuga and kishi just made a mistake when he drew her as a civilian with hyuga eyes and meant to draw her with normal eyes? See, I just tarnished this whole rumor.

Not exactly Japanese myth here, but on the Taoism bagua (yes, famously seen during Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms), "Heaven" corresponds to "father" while "Earth" corresponds to "mother."

This reminds me of a NH/SS fan that used Smallville as evidence. XD

 

Basically he said that Sakura=Lana Lang and Hinata=Lois Lane because in the last 2 seasons he fell in love with Lois, which equals 2 years. Then I said 2 years is different from 2 weeks, because Naruto was after all super in love with Sakura 2 weeks ago(aka during the confession)

What I find absolutely hilarious is how antis claim we're supposedly clinging to parallels...

 

What I find interesting about this bit is how outside couples LACK parallels. So with that said, I wonder if any of the outside couples had parallel moments that were equivalent  to the ones with Naruto and Sakura, would they totally dismiss it because parallels aren't better than actual development. What's more is that NS HAS actual development but some people don't take it seriously since some of the moments are wrapped in comedy... Of course, I find this hilarious because during these comical moments, in one of the databooks, it was shown that Sakura's feelings for Naruto were in fact UNCLEAR. Well, for something that's supposedly only comical, we sure didn't get much right? I suppose we shouldn't take the gf comment seriously? Or the attempted dates because clearly Naruto was only asking her for comical reasons. I mean, when you say actually say it out loud, it sounds like a ton of BS.

The confession where Sakura questions his feelings and there's not an ounce of denial coming from him?

 

 

These things have NEVER been brought up. What I find funny is how Kishi has never had Hinata push her feelings on Naruto. I feel that if he did, it'd be the end of NH then and there on panel because he'd likely turn her down and say he has feelings for someone else. It's the same with Sakura. No one has EVER actively ASKED her if she loves Naruto. I'd so love to see her response to this question though. LOL

Yes, but there is a difference between a comparison and a parallel.

 

Sakura compared Naruto with Anko, doesn't mean they're parallels. And yes, this was a real anti NS argument as to why the parallels don't work. XD
