Yeah, the Rebecca hate was noticeable. I do admit, I didn't like her last fallout was help me once again scene. After the tournament ended, she never really got that huge bang, so I thought it was hard to defend her. Oh well.

I think people hate her is because she never really proven her point by the end like everything was done for her or something. I admit, I didn't like it either. I always find it funny how the enemy of her father fought her, only for the father to do the work again. I know the story didn't ask for new generation to beat the old but that wasn't helping her making her strong. It doesn't help that her last action was being controlled. There was no fighting power in any forms, so I can see why. Still, I don't hate her but I think she could have handled better. Though that clothes...

As a matter of fact, Rebecca did not have enough development and moments with the straw hats for us to care for her. There were too many characters introduced at the same time and plus we hat to focus on Law, Sabo, the royal family, the citizens the tourney, and Bellamy. This arc was all over the place and so I hardly cared about anybody. Rebecca feels like a poor copy of Vivi with bigger boobs and less character moments and poorly written.

 

Even Tashigi is overall better written with the way she is introduced and met Zoro. Its pretty unforgettable and hilarious how they act and bicker like a married couple. Not to mention that there could be a very interesting development regarding her goals of becoming stronger and gender issues in Wano. Its definitely more fun than Rebecca's never-ending  stream of tears which could be the only adjective that comes to mind when I think about Rebecca.

 

I think Rebecca's relationship with Cavendishwas her most interesting relationship considering how he stood up for her when everyone was booing her... but they did not get any sort of closure which sucks.

Cool chapter. Great seeing Law's crew again. I wonder what happened to Nami and the rest, hopefully they're okay. Apparently someone named Jack (presumably the Kaido-affiliated guy that was chasing Doflamingo) tore up the place, I wonder what kind of run in he had with the others.

Also, looks like we're going to see another cover page series, this one is going to be the worlds reaction to Luffy's new bounty!

1.) I could see that. Most likely Zoro, tbh. I can't see Luffy busting anyone's face in that isn't Doflamingo level.

Well the village got destroyed two weeks ago, right? So I guess he's still doing that. I guess that's one way to hype Jack up and wonder if he really going to succeed in getting DoFlamingo.

well, apparently it was still standing two weeks ago, and sometime between then and the current time, Jack left to get Doflamingo, but apparently some of his people (maybe not his subordinates, but his Kaido alliance friends) were still there, because theyre the ones that fought Sanji and company.

 

If anything, Jack is probably not on the island, which means that if he were to fight say Zoro, it would happen at a later time.

I doubt he'd get there before Luffy and company though, seeing as how he was seemingly further away from Zou then them, and that he was trying to bust Doflamingo out while they were already on their way to Zou.

Interesting chapter, Jack was the person who attacked the Marines recently right? So he's not on the island at the moment, and Oda's really trying to build up the suspense about Nami and the gang, but I think everyone is reacting the same as Robin and gang, we expect them to be fine...though a little doubt does creep in, with the way the chapter ended.
