I personally think that its Sakura's turn to confess now. We all know about Naruto's feelings. Its time to find out where do her feelings lie. And besides, Sakura gave out a confession to Sasuke....it doesn't look good if Naruto confessed to her now. It is her turn to confess to Naruto...

I partially agree but It doesn't have to be a full blown confession per say  I mean done in that fashion but what Sakura needs to do first is show it to Naruto with action and this time he doesn't go unconscious but actually seeing it  , in order for Naruto's confession to work and for him to believe when Sakura accepts it he needs to know that Sakura really loves him and him only  and that she's over Sasuke  that she's true with her feelings otherwise will have the Kage Summit events again  .  So Sakura should do the first move by action and I hope for the OVA scenario for that or something in that style  then Naruto is free to confess .

Imagine if Naruto was dying and he didn't want to have any regrets.. You actually think he wouldn't let Sakura now he loves her just because he knew she had feelings for another guy?

To me it seems more natural for Sakura to confess again.

But Kishimoto may not lean this way because for him : parallels>natural interaction between human beings.

 

That's why Sakura never get to comfort Naruto after J-man's death, and it was Shikamaru instead.

 

Kishimoto may prefer to parallel the forehead scene for symetry.

Naruto confession is the climax of narusakusasu one side love triangle.
It's the ultimate developement for NS. It will make it(canon) or break it(not canon).

Sakura will make realization in naruto confession. There will be callback, flashback, and parallel.

If naruto doesn't confess than I assume naruto doesn't love sakura. If that happen than NS is dead or become crack pairing like udonxsasuke.

Also, what's the consensus on Sakura's confession? Due to some conflicting translations, wasn't more of a platonic love according to Kakashi? Also, and keep in mind I'm not sure I'm remembering this right, but when Sai asked Naruto if he likes Sakura, I think he said something like why Naruto hadn't told her yet and Naruto said something like how can someone who can't keep his promises do something like that. If he finally keeps his promise and he follows what he said before, he might be the one to confess.

What are u people thinking that naruto should confess first ??

 

If any should confess it should be sakura,after all the BS she pulled with 693 for whatever reason,she and she alone must do this.Then followed by naruto's opening up.

 

If it wasn't for 693's circumstances,then by all means naruto should confess first as u all said.

 

Sakura has to make clear who she loves and who she's going to choose.

That's an entirely different scenario though in that case Naruto would be confessing for the sake of not having any regret and to let that burden out of his chest   it won't be for the sake of hopping believing  that he'll enter in a relationship with Sakura  or that he has a chance  its not the same with what we are dealing  now .

But you see rocci  how Is Naruto supposed to believe Sakura even if she chooses him  how is Naruto gonna believe her that she's true to her heart and not lying again ?  See this is the problem  unless Sakura makes it somewhat clear by action that she has no interest in Sasuke and she's into him now  otherwise is the Kage Summit scenario again  and even more so is needed for Sakura to show it by action after the 693 fiasco .

Because naruto love sakura. Not the other way around.
Naruto need to make a confession so sakura could make a choice.
To still love sasuke or love naruto.

I see your point. It makes sense for a guy who is not as close to the girl. I don't know how it could work between two best friends. It would make things awfully awkward for both of them.

 

Sakura : Sasuke, I love you. *Naruto watches on*

few hours later

Naruto: Sakura, I love you.

Sakura: Naruto, I...this is all so sudden...

Naruto: I know you still love Sasuke. But I'm putting my feelings out as well. The choice is yours.  * looks at her*

Sakura: ................ * doesn't know what to say *

 

Naruto would just be putting Sakura in a difficult position. Based on what happened in LOI, I don't see Naruto doing something like that and making things awkward for Sakura and himself.

I know its impossible to define a set of rules for emotion related matters but still.....I just can't see Naruto telling Sakura he loves her just hours after he's heard her tell Sasuke the same thing. Naruto is her best friend too, we need to remember that.

 

In the scenario you have presented- Yes, I agree with you. Naruto would most probably let her know.

That was just one of gazillion examples.

After this fight is over and Sasuke's redeemed = POAL off Naruto's chest you think he'll wait until Sakura approaches him first? In the end he might never let her know how he feels about her..

Remember his "how can I if I can't even keep my promises"? His words imply that if he'd succeed in saving Sasuke he'd tell her how he feels about her ages ago, in spite of her love for Sasuke.

I think the manga will end on a NaruSaku note, but I don't think we'll see a confession of either side. The way this plays out in my mind is with Naruto making some kind of gesture (e.g. a callback to chapter 3) to let her know that he loves her. Before or after that I can see Sakura going through flashbacks of Naruto and coming to realise how much she cares about him as more than a friend, though she doesn't necessarily say or think that she loves him. What we could then see in the epilogue adult Naruto and Sakura together. The rest of the relationship could be explored passively in the new era movie project. I believe Hinata will have her closure in The Last, wherein NaruSaku is already canon, and the two will simply progress from there.

And I believe we're about to see yet another act of true love in one of upcoming chapters.

Imo they don't need a confession.It should be like this>Ova scene happens then IT is dispelled and everyone is released.Like in pain arc people celebrate.Then Sakura comes and Naruto sees her and she thanks him.They look each other and smile and then Naruto kisses her forehead and say "You sure have a large charming forehead makes me want to kiss it and that's something Naruto would say...".She's shocked but then she hugs him.Then everyone watches them including Hinat.She has a smile on her face again.

 

There is no need for a confession.Anyone remember this scene in RTN

They can understand each other.So I think confession is not a big deal.

I'd actually like Naruto not so much to confess but reiterate what she already knows. For him to treat it like Jiraiya only he'll say it out loud that he loves her and he'll always love her no matter what. And that can spurn her into trying to convince him that she loves him too.

I too agree with the majority. Sakura is the changing variable in this love confusion so for her to confess first is a better fit for the whole situation. Moreover, her confession doesn't necessarily mean to take form of wordy speech but through an act to demonstrate her affection - this is more impactful to me. If Naruto were to confess, it will be after a big Sakura>Naruto moment. But by that point, I'd imagine NS will be canon through that moment.

 

Secondly, I can't regard this whole thing as Sakura having to make a choice between Sasuke and Naruto. I'm not buying 693 as romantic leverage. As a fandom, I think we associate the word love too severely with romance when it can also be associated with altruism. But based on logic, I think we all know that Sakura's intuition will gravitate towards Naruto nonetheless.
