Btw, does anyone have an idea on what Sakura saw in the genjutsu? I know there was that bit in the manga where it had a close up on Sakura when she was younger and Naruto and Sasuke were sparring. Was that what she saw? And if so, what do you think the relevance is?

If NH were to happen, I would take it gracefully and let the fandom be happy, but I don't think anything could possibly convince me that the writing hadn't been heading toward and developing NS at least since the start of part two. All those moments and hints, some of them pretty blatant (ie, Naruto's answer to Sai, the bit on Sakura in the databook from the start of part two), weren't there for nothing. You'd have to purposefully ignore them or twist their purpose not to see it.


As for an NS moment this chapter, as confident as I am that NS is endgame, I'm not going to get my hopes up too high. Have a feeling this'll be a good chapter regardless.

Well, if no NS happens in canon, then I'll stick to fanfiction and my own fantasy. The latter has never let me down.

P.S. I like KakaSaku too, by the way. But as gen mostly.

Naruto's going to have to confess to Sakura at some point. How do you think he's going to do it?

I have mixed feelings about Sakura confessing first. Not that I mind it, but she told Sasuke she loved him a couple of hours ago and I guess 2 confessions a day are too much.

But it'd be awesome if her reply to Naruto's confession will be 'I love you too!'..

You keep saying that but what does it have to do with who started loving first..? Whether we like it or not, 693 did make things a lot more complicated. Right now, Naruto believes Sakura is still in love with Sasuke.

 

When a guy hears a girl, who is his best friend, declare the she loves some other person the guy isn't gonna propose or make a move on her! In such cases, the guy will always act like a friend first and back away from the girl. The girl needs to make it clear that she has moved on from the other person. Only then can the guy tell her how he feels.

 

Sakura needs to, at the very least , give a hint to Naruto that she likes him as much as Sasuke. The ideal scenario would be her completely getting over Sasuke.

Nope. Its not his turn to roll the die. How about this- The girl you like, just gave out a confession to another guy, however messed up she is and the guy destroys her emotionally. You settle scores with the guy and bring him to her. Will you still confess to her even after knowing where exactly her feelings lay a couple of hours before? If Sakura grew out of feelings for Sasuke, then I sure would've taken Naruto's confession, a plausible option. But since she gave away a confession to another guy just some hours ago that too after knowing Naruto's feelings for her, it is her role to confess to Naruto or infact the guy she truly loves. Naruto won't confess....and he doesn't need to. Naruto's job right now is to bring Sasuke to Sakura as stated by the promise. The choice of whom should Sakura go with....is entirely her choice and she should be the one to approach Naruto if its him. She needs a realisation of her feelings....not Naruto. If Sasuke is the one to realise his feelings...then he should approach Sakura and not her. Just my opinion though...

To still love sasuke or love naruto.
