A new databook is being released tomorrow in Japan, right?

 

Wouldn't it make sense to release a data book after the manga is over so it has the updated information and everything? Cause then he'd have to make another one....

well if there is 2 -3 weeks left of the manga and kishi has already got all 2-3 chapters done and ready to be released in weekly shonen jump,then technically the manga already is over to him so he could go ahead and make the databook, which means the databook could possibly have spoilers xD but we'll just wait and see what happens xD

I have this new prediction for how NS will be canon: The PoaL will be the deciding factor.

 

In 693, we had Naruto mention his promise to Sakura. That does give the impression he'll confess. But I'm starting to think maybe it will get deeper than that. Assuming a realization OVA moment happens and Sakura is in any way horrified or traumatized over how wounded Naruto was from Sasuke, Sakura might confront Naruto and ask him to give her a new promise of lifetime: that he'll always try to come back to her alive. A moment like this can easily canonize NS.

 

The PoaL was such a defining moment for NaruSaku's future development that a callback to it with a spin showcasing the change of Sakura's feelings while canonizing it seems very poetic. Instead of the promise being about Sasuke, it's about Naruto and how much she doesn't want to lose him. I also know lately Kishimoto's been making a lot of callbacks to Part 1 and since SS's closure was 693 with the 181 callback, a callback to the PoaL that happened right after that in Part 1 makes a lot of sense.

 

I'm surprised I never thought of this idea until now. It fits a lot with Kishimoto's parallels and how the NS relationship truly started.

"Interviewer: So, the chronicles of a grown up Naruto begin at last. Can we expect any major changes to his voice and your performance to reflect it?

Takeuchi: Well, both young Naruto and grown-up Naruto are the same character, but…I’m going to imagine that some amazing stuff happened in the two years not chronicled in the original manga, and approach the role as if it were brand new. As for whether or not there’ll be changes to the voice or not, I won’t know until I actually do it… well, maybe it won’t change (smiles). I’m intending for half of the elements in my performance to consist of what we’ve built up until this point, and for the rest to be a brand new character. I’m really excited about it.

Interviewer: Will his relationship to Sakura and Kakashi undergo changes as well?

Takeuchi: I don’t think there will be major changes. But, for instance, where before he would have surely tried a brute strength approach, he might not; where before he would have simply tried to plow forward, he might stop and think. That’s where we’ll see his growth. I feel Naruto grows stronger the more people there are whom he cares for and needs protect, and the Naruto we’ll see in Shippuden will have a better grasp as to how to protect them. I think he also has more power to work with now, too. But he’ll still be as reckless as ever (smiles). 

Also, I’m eager to see what happens, romantically with Sakura. I mean, little by little things have started looking up, right?

Interviewer: Well, that’s true.

Takeuchi: And that’s why I’m worried things will go terribly wrong! If things are going well right now it means it’ll be difficult* later on, so will you please stop getting worked up so easily, Sakura-chan!”

well kishi had to show the flashbacks of part one it was like expected cuz sakura can actually understand her feeling when she will look back in her life how naruto was there for her everytime not sasuke . And what is her true feelings after all.
And as u said yes there is a verygood oppertunity but lemmi tell u one thing just pray that kishi yakes this oppertunity. And at least confirm sakura feeling in these last chapters .

Who knows. Future is uncertain no matter how much evedence is there future can always change. So i ll wait till the very end. When actually NS is confirmed

Next week, when MT is released and Naruto does not confess or think of how much like mommy Sakura is, and instead rushes to Hinata's side, you guys need to admit you were wrong. No crying about bad writing, or how he's a troll, or how NH lacks development (it wouldn't have a larger fanbase if it didn't). Just take the L and move on. Be happy Naruto got his family back together and found happiness with a woman who genuinely lives him, and Sakura is happy with Sasuke back from the darkness. If you really want to claim yourselves their fans.

I would tell him why it lacks development because Naruto barely talks to Hinata. Sure he's nice to her a couple times but other than that he never hung out with her like he did with Sakura. If he loved Hinata he would've said to Minato. "No that girl over there is my girlfriend." And the "larger fanbase" is here in America where NS is bigger in Japan than NH.

Lemme read that again...hi-la-ri-ous. Admit that we were ''wrong'' if NH happens? LOL. I think NH broke the irony-o-meter with that one, because the same people saying that wont ever go to such lenghts if NS happens.

 

I actually enjoy reading those posts, because if NS does happen, the taste of it will be much more tasty.
