So Naruto did actually confess to Sakura...and it happened off screen. 
 
Sakura got to confess three times. One time with Naruto and two times with Sasuke. Hinata also got to confess. But Naruto, you know the main kittening character, the one whose name is in the title of the kittening series...His confession happens off screen? Are you kittening serious?!
 
Besides, how would this confession even go down? 
 
Naruto: "Sakura chan, I love you. If I can be with you, I can finally beat Sasu...Err I mean I can finally be happy. Happy like when I'm eating ramen!"
 
Sakura: "Oh Naruto. Please don't lie to yourself anymore. I know you only like me bacause of your rivalry with Sasuke, even though he not even in love with me. It's pretty despicable, but like you said, It's not our fault. The NS fandom is not an organized group and so we can't be held responsible for everything that's even vaguely associated with us.
