I think people need to stop having a Naruto-centric view in things. If Sakura ends up with Sasuke, the guy who tried to murder her twice and leave her for dead the other two times, how would she have a good relationship with him? The same guy who she admits never talks to her, the one who mocks her feelings after dehumanisingly knocking her out -- how is exactly NARUTO the biggest victim here?

 

Pretty much. Adding to him saying she should die along with Kakashi, Sakura has been constantly letdown by Sasuke and her character has been constantly beaten down just by simply having ties with the guy. If after all that she ends up with him any respect I had for her would be lost imo.

Not all of them are antiNS. Most are written as some angst that may or may not end positively for Naruto and Sakura. But Naruto possessed by a Sakura hater is a common case, of course. He seems even crueler than Sasuke because Sasuke is generally cruel towards Sakura. Those kind of stories are heartbreakers.

To be honest I those written with angst by NS fans are done in character and mostly from what I've seen its bc they Naruto/Sakura don't think deserve the love of the other (which is somewhat canon )  but it always follows up with one of them telling how great they are and yada yada    and I can go with that .  But the antis oh brother don't even get me start on that  and you are right Sasuke looks like a prince in comparison of how they make Naruto acts with Sakura  also the word "ugly kitten and whore " has to be included at least dozens  of times   .

The thing about NaruSaku honestly is that it hinges more on Sakura's feelings than Naruto's. The only thing Naruto can do is tell her how he feels and try and fight for her but if she doesn't reciprocate then it won't happen. He can't force it.

Silent treatment is nothing its  usually Naruto raging like a bull on sakura and insulting her using every nasty word in the book  for even dare confessing to him  just  try to avoid ANS or NH FF  though even if you do eventually they will stuff it in your face .

I actually imagined her realising it through internal monologue, and then Naruto simply telling her in person that he loved her in past tense.

I've made myself sad.

I don't think it's likely that this scenario would happen, unless Kishimoto is desperate for a no-pairing ending.

I get what you mean, I just wanted to hear some opinions from NS fans here. I've meet some that say they would hate her forever for choosing the guy that tried to kill her and not the guy that would do anything to keep her happy or some that would still very much love her. I personally would respect whatever Kishi decides to do, YES even if it doesn't make sense. I hope I'm not the only one that feels this way.

I would respect Kishi because he got this far and got so much success, I can't say I would feel the same way about the story though...

Oh I see. Unfortunately there are quite a vocal number if anti-Sakura people around, who really only ship Naruto/GetsWhatHeWants instead of narusaku.

My main concern would be Sakura's health if she ended up with Sasuke. It would just seem like an extremely odd for the author to marry off a woman to her attempted murderer.

His words in LOI made Sakura angry. Yet he never told her that he stopped loving her.
The second time she would be crushed. Sasuke fiasco wouldn't even compare to this one, believe it. And I doubt that Sakura would be willing to fall in love once again. The lotus of Kohoha blooms only twice.
