Thanks, but Imo, people are bringing it up in here because the thread was locked and there's no place else to talk about it and that's a bit of an issue on both sides...    no easy task, sigh.

 

I thought the movie topics weren't a problem -- and that it was the CD topics?

 

Can somebody clarify this?

I just read through fifty pages of you guys whining. This has been said millions of times before,so I'll repeat it again. If NH happens, it'd go against everything Naruto stands for. He said it himself that he'd never give up. Now if you excuse me, I'm bout to go read some naughty NS fanfiction.

Isn't KnS a she? XD and sigh, I really wish the movie I thread was open. We're not allowed to talk abut the movie at all? :/ There's little tidbits of info about it so of course people will talk about it.. I geuss that just brings more drama though.

There should be a new movie thread with reinforced rules and warnings if people get off topic about it like last time... It's a new movie, I'd like to talk about it as well.

Talking about the end of the manga is fine. What we don't want is any more crap about the movie.  That means the sketches, the CD cover, the tweets, the articles, the opinions about that stuff, the opinions about those opinions, what other shippers are saying, etc.

Youngling already said it.  The privilege to discuss the movie was lost because some people couldn't stop the negativity and conclusion-jumping.  It's a drag that everyone suffers because of it, but that's the way it is.

 

It's the second time that thread had to be closed, and it won't be opened again until there is legitimate information to review.

 

Think of it this way:  If the movie thread is closed, the movie doesn't exist here at H&E.

I don't want to spark a debate or anything by saying this, but, the movie does exist, and stuff is going to come out about it, and it's going to get posted one way or another and people are going to talk about it... then receive warnings... get banned, etc. It's going to cause a lot of unhappiness about the whole situation.

 

For example, you can't just close the doors and lock out the outside world from war and expect it not to effect the inside after time. 

 

Isn't there another way to go about this? Allow the thread, allow people posting... correct things if it gets out of hand with stricter warnings? 

 

Besides shipping drama, there's a NEW MOVIE coming out! It's the last one! That's something to be pumped for and I'd be damned if I didn't want to talk about it. 

 

I don't want to offend anyone here... I just want to state my opinion. Sorry if this causes trouble for anybody on the mod team, I respect what you do and I'd like to become one of you eventually if you'd have me... I just see a way where things could go a bit differently.

The term "realism" is a tad warped in my opinion.
 
Some people use that as an excuse so when things do not turn out the way they hoped they have something to fall back on.  It's fine for example to be realistic you will not come in 1st in a competition, but at the same time you are encouraged to be optimistic and still achieve/hope for the best, otherwise you'll only make yourself more sad/disappointed. 
 
There's absolutely nothing wrong with some one ending up being wrong, especially about a shonen manga.  We come to this forum to speculate about our favorite pairing.  Nothing more than this.
 
Wrong or right, I will still like NarutoxSakura.  Trust me, it won't be the end of my appreciation for its moments of my favorite pairing even if it does not become canon. I liked this pairing before part II, where there was virtually very few NarutoxSakura shippers, and those that were around were often harassed, mocked, and persecuted on the Naruto forums.
 
As many have said...Let's all continue to be optimistic and look forward to the big end of Naruto! 

Yeah i remember the old days in part 1 when i used to be a hardcore SASUSAKU shipper. I always thought that Naruto just had a childish cruch on Sakura and that he was gonna grew out of it by the years. And to be honest the SS moments easily beated all the NS moments in part 1.
That was why i found it very amusing and stupid that there was people who thought that NS would happen.

But Naruto didn't grow out of his cruch over the years. No it only grew stronger and developed into a serious and mutual love, that Naruto would even at the point to let her be with a another man who she loves just as long she was happy. That's very deep as hell. And in part 2 when Saskue was out of the picture we could more see about Sakura's thoughts about Naruto and it was very usual to see them together than it was in part 1, and it was easiser to explore their realtionships.
And there was a hell of NS moments in the berginning part 2. It was just like BAMM, BAMM, BAMM! Another NS moments after the other.
Then it may have lessed a bit, but the NS moments as the hug, girlfriend comments by his dad, CPR, and the parralells made it worth the pantient.

Actually, i don't really know when and how i turned from a SS shipper into a NS shipper over the years. But i still think that NS wasn't a really opinion in part 1 but it had it's own pontential, which Kishi took use of it and made it blossom in part 2.

Another reason why I think Kishi will go in this direction is because he and SP are cash cows. "Want to know who Naruto will marry? Sorry, it won't be in the manga. You need to come pay for see the movie and don't forget to buy all the merchandise."

Not to be a rebel or anything, but how does the official info count as crap? Tweets and opinions like that are irrelevant, but the sketches and CD cover (well, kinda) aren't. It's a little disappointing that we can't talk about the movie at all - especially when it's connected to the manga. It isn't just some random Naruto movie like Bonds. Yeah, same here :/

 

It's because people need to calm down.  If the only way we can do that is to close the movie thread and police the rest, then that's what we're going to do.

This is ridiculous, in my opinion. The thread should be reopened with stricter policies and fierce warnings if things get out of hand, that's the way I see it.

 

Let people talk about it freely. If freaking out ensues, warn them more, temporarily ban them. Cutting away our talk about the movie its self is too much. There's a way to go about this like calm adults.

Ok people chill down  the movie thread is closed for a good reason  like the mods said it will be reopen once a legit info appears  like that video on Thursday  so it won't be to long .

 

Now change of topic and on something positive to lighten the mood  .  Which song OST do you imagine playing on Naruto's confession  for me this is No1 .

I know that you're trying your best to keep H&E peaceful, but couldn't it be done differently? As Fenris said, the movie actually has some relevance to the manga since they're connected. This will be the last major timeskip we'll ever get in this series. Will this thread be closed as well if more info comes our way? At this rate people will just move to new threads to discuss the movie. I would assume that people received warnings already right? Maybe you could establish a new set if rules in the movie thread to prevent people from being unreasonably negative? Like Fenris said. Some of us actually were discussing the movie /sigh. I guess in a week from now the pairing drama will finally be resolved so no more freaking out in the movie thread..

Okay, let me explain this.

 

The reason I close the movie thread was the negativity in general. Plus the panicking and arguments. Most of them were about non-legit sources, such as the tweets (really, guys? Twitter? Even Facebook. You guys should had known better that majority of the pages are fake unless they have the verified check mark).

 

And we went through this before with the mysterious woman sketch, which is now looking like that's obsolete unless it will come up in the next few weeks left of the promoting/marketing.

 

As KnS said, we need you guys to calm down. Yes, the manga is ending, because we're at the home stretch, but still, this thread is the debate for NaruSaku. That's the main topic, not discussing about the movie. So until then, I'm thinking at least by Thursday (or earlier when the chapter is out), maybe a new thread will be created for The Last: Naruto the Movie. I'm starting to believe the old one was running its course to begin with... because many of you were doing more than 100 replies per day!

 

But for now, no talks about the movie in this thread until further notice.

I appreciate you thinking about making a new thread for the movie. I hope it happens. Because there are people who want to talk about the movie and not just about shipping, considering Naruto is ending.  I hope the opinions of members had some weight here.
