Naruto knows exactly what he wants

 

Exactly, and there has been absolutely ZERO indication that his feelings for Sakura have changed since #3.

 

This is what I don't get about people fearing the pairing outcome.  In terms of the Narutoverse timeline, it was only minutes ago that Naruto told his father that Sakura was "more or less" his girlfriend.

 

Nothing Sakura said to Sasuke in #693 was anything new, or anything Naruto didn't already know.  He knew how she felt about Sasuke during her confession in the Land of Iron; that's why he didn't accept it at face value.  But Naruto's admission to Minato proves that DESPITE Sakura's confused feelings, Naruto considers her his potential girlfriend.

 

Why?  Because Sai made Naruto see and understand that Sakura chose him over Sasuke, and that despite how she has felt about Sasuke she loves Naruto too, and was "only thinking of him."  Naruto knows he has a chance with her, especially once he succeeds in turning Sasuke around.

 

Naruto's plan has been the same all along.  He has wanted to be acknowledged by Sasuke as an equal -- we just saw that again in the last chapter -- and once he was Sasuke's equal he could stand before Sakura as worthy boyfriend material. 

 

From everything we've seen in the manga so far, Naruto appears to be right on track.  I will be very surprised if we don't see him confess or make some kind of obvious declaration of his intentions with Sakura in these final two chapters.

Personally I think you guys are wasting you're time with this guy, but as I said before:

 

Understand that SP are Hinata fans and will use her appearance in the movie as promotional material. It does not necessarily imply or mean NaruHina will be canon in the movie. The cover is done by SP, not Kishimoto.

 

Understand that this is a movie about Hyugas, so with Hinata being the most recognizable Hyuga still alive and the fact that it's her damn sister that has been kidnapped, it makes sense that she would get more promotion than most other characters when you also remember that SP are Hinata fans.

 

Soundtrack covers do not necessarily tell you the full picture of what will happen in the movie. Sure they may look together, but until you get a movie summary or general idea of the plot and interactions don't jump to ridiculous conclusions.

 

I believe is Kishimoto intended for NaruHina to be canon he wouldn't have had it be canon in the IT along with other dreams that are unlikely to happen. Doing that means he spoiled the end pair before the manga ended.

 

So until something confirms your worries about your ship, stop jumping to ridiculous conclusions.

I have a hard time imagining not seeing Sakura in some capacity in the next chapter, and if she's with Kakashi, maybe it'll play out the Tale of the Utterly Gutsy Ninja, and maybe it won't, but it'd be nice to see her worry about Naruto and just Naruto. Sasuke can kitten off already, I'm sick of seeing her fret over him after the kitten he's pulled time and again.

First of all i dont feel like trying to bring up excuses. I feel like ur the ones trying to bring up excuses to still make NS believable.

Also theres a difference between shipping NS and believing its gonna happen.

I think as the series has gone on Naruto's love for Sakura has only grown, and I don't think that will ever change. It would be incredibly stupid if he were to fall out of love with Sakura, and in love with Hinata, in 2 chapters so I don't think we have anything to fear there. I'm positive we'll get some type of comfirmation in the next chapter or the final one.

Naruto wants to be acknowledged by Sasuke as an equal in terms of strength. What does that have to do with NaruSaku? The only thing that influences NaruSaku is the PoAL.

Naruto being a more worthy boyfriend over Sasuke could be seen as far back as in part 1. Sasuke knocks Sakura out and leaves her in the cold night, Naruto promises on his life that he would fulfill Sakura's wish. 

 

Things did not get better though. In the entire part 2 Sasuke has demolished his boyfriend material credentials while Naruto has enhanced his own.

I think it's been stated that Naruto's love for Sakura is so selfless that he will be okay with it if she were to choose Sasuke over him, as her happiness is what counts to him. I agree that has nothing to do with being an equal to Sasuke.

To think he used to be so positive and was really a great member( not that he is a bad member) but it's sad to see he become this insecure mess. I mean everyone has there doubts but keep it to minimum because in times like this it's better to keep everything positive.
