Yeah, i have never thought about Naruto being anywhere near in love with Sasuke, maybe he loves him as a brother but thats it. Naruto did at one point say to itachi that he would be a better brother to Sasuke than Itachi. I have to doubt that Naruto is homosexual.

Go check, his expression is a happy, stunned blush to her unseen original straightforward and blushing "I love you". That's not what he thinks she is joking around about. He doesn't accuse her of "joking around" until she repeats the phrases and then adds that she's "done with" Sasuke. That he means nothing to her anymore. The combo of his unchanging rigid mental image of Sakura, and sensing she was in denial about being able to completely reject all her emotional connections to Sasuke, was what provoke that.
Naruto was even more in denial than Sakura was. He had constructed such a rigid mental image of Sakura as the 12 year old unattainable Sasuke fangirl, he literally did not see all the screamingly obvious examples (that others who had just met her noticed- Chiyo, Sai, Yamato) that she had moved on from Sasuke.
It took Sakura being firm to put a permanent crack in that rigid mental wall. Naruto accepts Sakura has fallen in love with him, he says nothing to contradict her words that she is in love with him, he just says she chose a strange situation to confess her love. His reaction to Sai's reinforcement of Sakura words in 474 shows Naruto has accepted this- he is calmly reflective and sees her in his mind for the first time as she is. When he argues with Sai that she still is deeply in love with Sasuke he goes back to seeing her as the 12 year old unattainable Sasuke fangirl. Sai's words finally makes that wall image shatter. He can't take it in at first, and stands there mentally frozen, and with Gaara's challenge about Naruto's mental image of Sasuke too, he hyperventilates and passes out.
Naruto works through this while he's unconscious- well at least the changes in Sakura, some of the changes in Sasuke. Naruto and Sakura's words to each other and physical interactions since his rescue of her subtly shows an awareness of their mutual feelings. They may be figuring out how deep each others love is, but they know there's some mutual feelings between them.
She briefly broke through in 343 when she made in Japanese culture a subtle but showing her overt sexual attraction to Naruto-when not only did she act to feed him but in manga canon she looked at him with "bedroom eyes" and moved in closer than she would have needed to. (Her "busted!" expression in manga canon when Kakashi walks in on scene is further support) Naruto yells at Sai for ruining the mood, she'd been overt enough he knew she was very attracted to him, but he had blocked out that moment by 450. He forgot than one too, and just stood there stunned when it happened, even though even Kakashi was blushing at the overt romantic action Sakura was expressing to Naruto. He totally missed her overt flirtation in 245 as well, when she invited him to look at her body in a sexual way, deliberately misread her tears over him during the rescue Gaara arc- you can tell it's deliberate by his expression as he walks away. He can't deal with her change- it challenges his rigid mental image of her as the unattainable Sasuke fangirl. He had even forgotten his own moments with her that challenged that image...
She is troubled not because she thinks Naruto loves Sasuke more than he loves her, but because of the deadly danger Sasuke presents to Naruto. Remember, she even believed Naruto would hate her once he discovered she was going to kill Sasuke. Naruto's angry reaction when she said she was over Sasuke, and he should forget chasing after Sasuke, his flippant acceptance of her feelings and his flippant dismissal of the POAL, while he outright told her Sasuke was more important to him than she was, and her tearful "I'm sorry Naruto" as she walks away from him, sure as heck looks like to me that she thought Naruto was in love with Sasuke, not her, and that he hated her now. (Remember she even says "if you hate me just say so", Sai's words about Sakura feeling Naruto would hate her).
Naruto's actions when he saves her at least assures her that he doesn't hate her and does have some sort of feelings for her, but his words about dying with Sasuke the next time they fight would certainly add to her thinking Naruto is more in love with Sasuke than he is with her.
Naruto on the other hand was finally able to nearly fully process that Sakura loves him deeply after facing the waterfall of truth and meeting his mother. His mental image of Sakura now shows her as having her full attention on him and openly adoring and in love.

Narutopedia when it comes to pairings the information is biased because anyone with an account of the site can edit the information to the liking of their prefer pairing so pay no attention to that site.

Which is the only reason I dislike Narutopedia, but other than their faulting couple logics, it's pretty up to date and informative on everything else...

Yes we do...buut i think that's the whole point of the manga artist, making people read it over and over again. I think we should all read the entire shippuden series ounce again.

Bascially this is a little definition that I came up with.
What irritates me most about this pairing war is that you can't go anywhere and search for, say Naruto fanart or videos, without having to wade through all this biased pairing crap. Chapter 540 was the perfect example of this. Im just speculating here, but I reckon that its only going to take one Youtube search to come up with at least 50 pro-NH or pro-SS videos proclaiming how "NS is dead!!!1!1!11one!!!1!".
I know im probably gonna get alot of flak for this, but SS doesn't bother me nearly as much as NH does. Sure, Sasuke is indeed a murderous, batsh*t insane prick. But he doesn't hold a candle to what some of these "rabid" NH cans can conjure up.
As far as I see it there are 4 types of NH fans:
1. The normal kind (Also known as the good kind
2. The Sakura haters (Also known as the rabid fans): These are NH fans who, for various reasons, hates Sakura with a burning passion and who constantly goes on and on about how what a dumbass Naruto is for not noticing how perfect and sweet Hinata is and how Sakura totally doesn't deserve him because she's a mean abusive b*tch who's is obviously still in love with Sasuke. Therefore they also blatantly refuse to acknowledge that Sakura has changed at all and that she is still just a weak little "Sasuke fangirl"!
3. The Hinata vs. Sakura fans: These share all the characteristics of the above (with the expection of the "normal" fans), except for the fact that their biggest wish is for Hinata to go totally OOC and beat the hell out of Sakura for "playing with Naruto's feelings"!
4. The NS/NH Shippers: These are, in my opinion, the worst kind of NH fans. While these fans also share's alot of traits with the Sakura haters and to a lesser extent, the Hinata vs. Sakura fans. However the worst trait about these is that, while they certaintly are rabid NH fans, they also like the thought of NaruSaku. Not the pairing itself, but the idea of Sakura actually falling in love with Naruto. However, this is only so that they can later have the gratification of laughing in her face when Naruto turns her down and then starts dating Hinata. However this is only her rightful punishment for being a realistic 12 year old girl and later a strong, yet also fragile and emotional young woman with flaws and insecurities.
Okay okay, so I know that you can't really lump all NH fans together like that. Like I stated with the first "type" there are sensible NH fans. I have met quite a lot of them myself and they are totally nice and decent people. They just support a different couple.
Also that sort of "rabid" behaviour is by no means exclusive so NaruHina fans, oh no. There are definetly also rabid SasuSaku fans AND NaruSaku fans.
Its just that I recently read a Naruto fanfic in which Sakura laments the fact that she never paid any attention to Naruto and was mean to him and that now when she has actually fallen for him, he has already moved on and are now going out with Hinata. The author wasn't even a NaruHina fan or anything. In fact she had wrtitten plenty of fics with other pairings (including NaruSaku). But still, even though there were people who defended Sakura (including me) most of the reviewers simply said that they enjoyed the thought of Sakura being sad and that seeing her in pain pleased them greatly, and not to sound like a prude or anything, but that sort of thinking just downright disgusts me. I mean its bad enough to blatantly ignore fact, wanting to have two girls who are probably friends in canon fight eachother (over a boy of all things), but enjoying someone being in emotional pain is just...yuck!
Sorry for my little rant here. I hope I haven't managed to piss to too many people here with this. But I just needed to get this out there.

Yep, until we see some definite proof of one pairing being cannon, everything is possible
And yeah that fanart is just gorgeous. Its both cute and funny at the same time.

Yeah you're right. And no, SS doesn't really have much going for it either. But rabid SS fans don't piss me off nearly as much as rabid NH fans does. That and im still kinda pissed off about that story. Its amazing how one little thing can totally ruin your day.

Yeah, I know what you mean. It's hard not to judge the other big pairings when there's so many rabid fans. I don't think they're the majority though, it's just usually the case with anything that the craziest voices resound the loudest.
In all fairness though, NH doesn't really bother me as much as SS. The actual pairing is so underdeveloped I can't see it happening unless it's as a result of SS happening. Which is probably why so many NaruHina fans side-ship SasuSaku, they obviously see Sakura as a threat to their pairing.
As for the panel, I still laugh at the way so many people are taking it. Maybe her statement in 539 ("I'm in love with someone else...") isn't connected to her thought bubble in 540, but even if it is, I really don't see what NH/SSers have to celebrate over. She says she's in love with Sasuke, but then imagines Sasuke as he is now, and looks sick while doing so. Despite what a lot of people here had been saying regarding how Sakura's 100% completely over Sasuke, I still thought her feelings needed resolving. And that thought bubble is a definite step in right direction for us if that's going to happen.
In any case, my strategy right now is to just sit back, relax, ignore the rabids, and watch how this all works out in our favor.
