They really put a lot of attention on the design with the flowers and colors. She looks so badass.

 

Honestly Oda let her be the main supporting character of Wano and let her fight in this outfit. 

She has so much potential to be one of the best supporting character ever. Don't turn her into another Rebecca please.

I agree 100 percent. Her and Smoker are already lined up to have a huge role with the Straw Hats in the last arcs, but I also want her to be one of the main characters in the Wano arc.

Wano is supposed to come soon if the merchandising schedule is correct.

 

Obviously, Zoro will be challenged by Samurais who think he is unworthy of his swords because he is a pirate and took Ryuma's sword. Tashigi will be taunted by the samurais for being a woman and judged unworthy of holding a sword. There really could be some epic character moments.

 

Its gonna be about a plot to take over Wano with  Momonoskue.

 

Every main characters can have something encouraging to say to her. Sanji could say that he is a ladies man but he would never ever insult their dreams. Chopper could know how it feels to be rejected in a world you want to be a part of and so on.

 

Tashigi might loose her sword and Zoro could give her the Wado Ichimonji to protect the kingdom and as a way to tell her that he thinks she is not weak and worthless.

 

This arc has to be one of the best arc ever if Oda doesn't throw too many characters and keep the plot simple.

Unless it turns out she was Kuina along. The whole twin sisters revelations seems too logical and predictable. There maybe something twisted going on.

 

The wad ichimonji scene could be something that rival Luffy giving Nami's hat in terms of emotion except that Zoro is more talkative than Luffy at this moment and tells her to keep becoming stronger no matter what happens even if she is a girl or not to echo the words he told to Kuina.

... No. He doesn't consider Nami above his other nakama crewmates. And I know he helped Nami. I was listing other names to compare them to her. Saying why helping her was nothing more emotional than what he did for his other nakama.
I brought up LuNa as its the obvious reason why you are saying he cares more for Nami. Like even I can admit when I show favortism. I think Mccourty from the Patriots is the best safety in the league, but that's because he's from New England, and there are like 5 good candidates for best safety in the league.
In this case, you adore Luffy with Nami, so by default you'll want their connection to be stronger. But obviously he cares for her as much as Robin. Emotionally and friendly. You can't accept that because you know Luffy isn't getting with Robin either, and if that's all he feels for female crewmembers... well then, LuNa just has no foreshadowing of happening other than Luffy giving her his hat twice. But Sanji holding her in a wedding gown is more foreshadowing than that. And even I can admit Sanji has almost no chance of ending up with Nami. This is One Piece after all.

Nami is probably gonna be Tashigi's best girl friend. They could have one of the best chemistry on screen... I mean the sulfurous, girly, sexy orange girl with the modest, shy, conservative, and normal Tashigi is a total win for me.

 

Nami already looks up to her and even compares her to Bellemere which is the biggest compliment you could get from Nami.

 

 

Edit: If you guys like Nami I don't think there should be any real valid reason to hate Tashigi when the navigator deeply trusts and actually looks up to a marine officer. They are just incredibly compatible in personalities.

 

One Piece is not about who is necessarily better. Its about the kind hearted main characters and supporting cast that make each other better. Its not about who hogs the glory but more about about the team.

What do you guys think of making a character ranking thread for One Piece? Other forums have it, and it would give us an additional something to discuss, along side the chapters and stuff. This way we don't always get dragged into shipping debates because of FY's nonsensical rambling besides, debating the ships gets kinda tiresome, and sometimes our chapter discussions don't really last so long.

And the chapters have given us very little to discuss as of lately. When we start getting details, then the discussions on chapters will be back to what they should be. Like, who are the mink? Who are they fighting? Why has Oda given furries something to get off to? Find out next time, on One Piece.

No, you just used favoritism. And I would take Luffy challenging the whole world to a fight for Robin over him handing Nami his hat. That holds MUCH more weight and emotion. Although, that's not to say he cares more for Robin. Just that Robin is equal with Nami in Luffy's mind from all that we've seen so far. Luffy cares for every nakama equally. He might get with Nami, but there is no foreshadowing to it. Just hope with no evidence of it's arrival. Even Sanji deep down considers and cares for his nakama equally, even though he is always worshiping Nami and Robin. Hence why he stood in front of Zoro to sacrifice himself instead, and why he went through Hell to get stronger for Luffy. But see, even with Sanji wanting Nami, I can say his relationship with his other crew members is just as emotional and caring. That's because favoritism doesn't blind my insight.
