Alright so since it's confirmed this is the final arc, what have your guys thoughts been this far?
For me, it all depends on how it ends.

I'm only at where zeref revealed that he is Natsu' s brother and he is e.n.d. I hope it's not rushed like bleach was or that zeref and acnologia don't go out like kittenes. We still have a long way to go.

I'm actually fairly optimistic that the series will end on a good note. Might not be as great as Rave, but I think it will be decent enough. If there's one thing Mashima's doing right with his writing, it's Zeref.

Any takers on when it'll end? I'm predicting July, with the whole "Seven" thing. (7-7-17).

Something that should be taken into consideration with Fairy Tail's final arc announcment and I should've said this in my vid, but I did a little digging into what happened when Rave Master (manga) came to an end..

 

I remember that Hiro created a one shot chapter for Fairy Tail while he was working on Rave Master, and woah all I got to say is the original one shot of Fairy Tail was very interesting in comparision to what the manga we have today):

 

(btw the one shot was made back in 2003 roughly 2 years before Rave Master came to an end) 3 years before the original manga came out.

Also if we take this into consideration and Hiro doing the same thing when Rave was still going on,  I think there's a 70 to 80% chance that Hiro's next series is gonna be this:

Unless he's got something else planned, but I'd be interested in seeing Starbiter Statsuki become a manga hopefully in a similar quality to Rave and Fairy Tail Zero.

though I wonder if the editors he has now are the same from Rave Master.. I mean the atmosphere in Rave Master is really different from Fairy Tail especially in terms of the writing too.

Honestly, not really. I think he's tamed to do children of all ages in terms of combat while still provide fan service. I mean kids show do have fan service, which is bizarre itself.

No he's actually really good, fairy tail has the better story, characters pacing and twist and development than Naruto or bleach.

Not at all, he has proven his potential with Rave Master and definitely at specific points in Fairy Tail, he just doesn't seem to plan things ahead of time in terms of the fight scenes
