Both. First of all they are going to extend Naruto with fillers for a very long time then continue with the next generation. However at same time they're going to release a movie or probably movies. What those movies are going to be about? Honestly I have no clue but you can look at SP's previous Naruto movies and make a safe assumption about their quality. Considering that they are revisiting the RTN universe, I wouldn't be surprised if they make another movie with that universe with burrito, probably butchering everything that we've loved about Road to Ninja in the process.

For the new gen movie, most likely it will use the same recipt like naruto previous movie. You know mission, damsel/dude in distress, movie exclusive heroine, and variety rasengan finisher.

The fact that what you said is very possible, just makes my stomach churn in disgust. i hope I'm nowhere near the Naruto franchise if that happens.

If they're going to do that then they're probably going to use the exact way Kishi did it. Burrito and Salad travel together to that universe to mirror NS. Why? To attract us, because they have no creativity and just prefer copy-paste and because we all know burrito and salad are a red herring. Because burrito will end up with chouchou. Why her? Because the people around Kishi like her meaning she's popular. Meaning burrito is going to end up with her. That is until chouchou runs out of food and eats her husband.

 

Sorry for making a joke about fat people but had to do when of them is called burrito.

SP is now twisting the knife and messing with the "Road To Ninja" universe for a TenTen special....

The TenTen scenario isn't why I'm pissed but the fact that they are pushing NH and SS moments in that universe when in fact that was NS territory "or should I say Menma x Sakura" is what's pissing me off right now. Not only that but Naruto's Haircut...........whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat???? O_o

PS- Now that I've completely watched the filler episode trailer, nothing hinted NH and or SS aside from the characters appearing on-screen together for a few moments...though considering this is SP anything can happen...It still doesn't make a lick of sense that Tenten was transported to the RtN world though

They're idiots. They probably don't realize that everyone is transported into their own individual dream world instead just put into the RTN world

it's not "good" they're probably just hanging. in there, there is such a big time that Naruto doesn't appear at the top 10 of audience in japan

It's probably in the top 100. Also cancelling right now makes no sense when they're so close to the ending. I mean if they stop with the fillers the anime will be over in about 20 episodes.

I get the feeling the next movie may focus on Orochimaru and Mitsuki. Orochimaru may become a villain again and Mitsuki will have to pick a side.

It's good enough to hang in there and don't get cancellation like bleach for example.
Sp has no reason to goes filler spree when the original source already end. Unlike detective conan or onepiece. Unless they plan to make naruto filler post chapter 699. Ugh the horror.

I think "good" would be for a series as famous as Naruto if they still remained somewhat on top ten or top 15, like classic series like DB, Conan and OP

 

Naruto is not doing as okay as it was before, but they're probably still having profit with the series specially due to it's status as a worldwide famous series and subscription from western fans on places such as crunchyroll and etc 

 

However, no in japanedse territory it's quite obvious that Naruto lost it's potency
