reading this in a italian forum "It's ended as everyone wanted so" and it's really true, sadly.

I guess Kishimoto chose the easy way to keep the majority of people happy. We NS fans are the underdogs in the world by number.

Do you think there's a chance things could turn around in Japan?

 

I dunno... Sure the NS jap fandom will be upset. And a lot of Naruto fans (neutral) will be mad for this ending.

Gee, I don't know, maybe some time before they managed to rebuild Konoha, grow Naruto an entire arm, and hold a hearing for Sasuke? It's not hard for Kishimoto to have written it in at all. But he didn't.

 

..im tired of hearring this.. sakura already knows that he loves her from sai...with that moment exclusively its ilogical cause sakura knows  and didnt give a flying kitten about it when she confessed to sasuke in 693 and hummiliated herself in front of naruto like a kittening train wreck she is..even she admitted thats shes pathetic..even naruto must have thought like ''damn..is that realy the girl i want to spend the rest of my life?a kodeshiko retarded freak?''..and then he must had heard the conversation between sakura and sasuke when sasuke poked her forehead since he was right around the corner ....would you confess in this situation?

 

Yeah, Sakura knows Naruto loves her. What is she supposed to do? Walk up to Naruto, scream at him that she heard from someone he loves her? Kishimoto could have had Naruto talk about her forehead like he did in chapter three, instead of having Sasuke go out of character for the sake of making more room for naruhina.

 

We didn't end up with a narusaku ending because Kishimoto wanted a naruhina movie, there's really no point blaming any fictional characters at this point.

The only people who are happy with this ending are those immature shippers and people who don't understand what a plot is.. they only care that their ship won and is officially canon. They don't care about the development of the characters or how it fits into the plot. The only thing they care about is winning and then be arseholes to those who don't agree.

Unfortunately people are happy, celebrating even the way sakura and others were presented, there would probably be lots of headcanons to fill gaps or even alter things so long as kishi told them who bedded who.

Sorry, I've only seen a handful of your posts, many of them seem to be about hypothetical situations where Sakura rejects Naruto. And in your last post, you wrote "I don't even think kishi could stomach that", as if Kishimoto isn't writing his own story. So you've slapped the blame back on Sakura.

I think that's the first one where I've stated a situation that he confesses and she rejects him. I was saying that Kishi wouldn't be able to stomach writing that scene, so he forced Naruto to the side and destroyed all of Naruto's and Sakura character in favor of an asspull "romance" that had no business happening.

He couldn't have stomached writing a rejection scene? The real question is why he would have bothered to write a story if he wanted Naruto to be rejected in the first place. Why set up his main character to love the heroine? Why have her change for him, why have other characters point out that she doesn't see Naruto as a simple friend? It honestly feels like Kishimoto changed his mind half way through the story, and now he just so happens to have a new movie out featuring the hero falling in love with the most popular girl in the series. Incidentally, movies also make a lot of money.

I was lurking in another anime forum, and people in that place thought that the ending was crap and the series has been getting worse since the Pain arc. No pairings were mentioned because they did not care for them, so you do not need being a NS fan to think that the ending was crap.

Exactly. It is disheartening, but now NH fans are trolling LadyGt deviantart page, telling that we are delusional, we made this to ourselves, Hinata got interaction with Naruto, Kishimoto is a magnificent writer, Kishimoto created Hinata before no one else in the manga, we are just lousy losers, we chose the wrong pairing...

 

If NS had become canon I would never have gone to their places to trol and mock them. I would want the same common courtesy in return, but I guess that I can not hope politeness or good manners of shipper trolls.

 

Anyway, you are right. Many people is not happy with then ending, and they have not been happy with the series for a long time. It is not only us.

There's a reason Kishimoto didn't show Naruto and Sakura interacting in the last chapters. Any interaction between them after getting with their so-called love interests would be awkward as hell. They likely drifted apart with Hinata and Shikamaru taking Sakura and Sasuke's place.
You can't just remain friends after a romantic betrayal like that. Naruto and Sakura truly deserved better.
