Just a question: why did Kishimoto decide to give Sakura Kushina's hairstyle? Did you ever imagine her like that? I honestly didn't.

The movie isn't Kishi's story It's just an addition to it after the fact. He'll finish the story outright because it's his story that he's in complete control of. Not something that would make him have to work with other writers, directors or studio personnel. He's not going to leave his story hanging just to make other people money.

Lol, I can see it now. They'll show a portrait of Naruto and his family at the end, but they'll either cut off the females head, or they'll be some sunlight shining on the picture, blinding anybody from seeing who it really is. I'd die if this happens

So was RTN but that didn't necessarily make it canon. That's for you to decide for yourself. He never claimed it canon.

He gave most of the girls the side bangs things, but only with Sakura, he gave it the same side as Mito and Kushina...

well.. rescue hanabi quest is not very exiting

 

If it wouldn't be exciting for some people  than they could have thrown that idea in the trash. Yeah, I don't find that exciting as well, but I also didn't like the idea in the 2nd and 3rd Shippuuden movie, and it still happened. We might care way to much about pairings, but I doubt that the whole Naruto fandom is like that as well. The most interesting part in the movie will be that those people will be adults now, just like in RTN Naruto's pairing being alive was most interesting as well. In the 5th it was the aspect that we saw Sage Naruto play a big role etc. Every movie has it's key point, and I doubt that for this movie it's the romance. 
But of course, I didn't make this movie. I can be terrible mistaken. But that's what I think about it.

Jeeez, now I've started talking about the movie again. I'm really sorry about that.

I thought it was strange, because most of the characters don't change their hair style that drastic. But it was a pleasent suprise.

I guess their only sound argument at this point would be the fact that there is still a chance for Kishi to give in to fans pressure and change his mind at the last minute...

They can't possibly deny the development is all in favour of NaruSaku.

One of the main reasons for me is the quote from the teaser trailer awhile back.....

The one about connecting to the next generation beyond the "Original Work".....

Another would be whether or not will Naruto will be the Hokage in the end....

A minor would be the spoiler of Kakashi being the sixth hokage and we don't get to see much of his reign or of him coronating Naruto into the position.....

I'm sure there's others but that's all I can think about currently

They say it's supposed to take place between the SasuNaru fight and the epilogue chapter.

I didn't pay attention where it came from though. But I'm sure it was a reliable source.
