No. The only way to give Hinata closure regarding NH would have been to have Naruto reject her, and if it only happens 3 years after Hinata confessed, then it just makes Naruto looks really really bad.

It's better to let it unanswered at this point, and consideres Naruto knew Hinata knew he won't ever like her.

 

If not, it looks like Naruto keep the titty girl around  in case Sakura never answered his feelings. You know, as a consolation prize.

 

Naruto may be a bit of a Mary Sue that can force his naive beliefs on people, but he has never been a cruel manipulator at least?. Or someone whose cowardly behaviour hurts people, because he can't take a decision.

Don't depict him this way, pls Kishi.

Sakura kept loving Sasuke although he made it clear that there is no interest in her.  Hinata WILL need some sort of closure, that's the least she deserves. It could happen in the manga, but well, I think that's unlikely. That's why I think it can happen in the movie.

This may be killing two birds with one stone for Kishi.
1. Focus on the Hyuugas. (Whom he apparently hyped as one of the more powerful clans in Konoha, so he's giving the attention they didn't have before.)
2. Confuse have people get confused about pairings and make them really wonder who will be with who and keep us guessing until the end.

The fact that SS hasn't been teased at all gives me the feeling that SS truly is dead.

That's different because Sasuke did reject Sakura. Naruto was thoughless enough to not even do something Sasuke could.

It puts him in a bad light.

 

Sakura was able to reject the love letter fodder, for kitten sake.

Why can't Naruto do such a simple thing. He isn't supposed to be a cowardly wuss.

 

And it's equally pathetic to not have Naruto confess to Sakura in that time lapse.

RTN was a film of connection and understanding between Sakura and Naruto, especially as they must realize what is actually the true happiness in their wishes

This deep psychological connection is nice to see in the movie, and my favorite part is when Sakura asks Naruto if he is happy in this world and she is willing to stay even though she is not happy.

After seeing this movie and remember it comes from Kishimoto ideas makes it harder for me to think that the next movie is about Hinata, not because there is no friendship but because the author showed special attention to Sakura and Naruto all manga and RTN movie

Then it means NH already has closure, as H was able to understand that NH was a lost cause, and N knew that H was aware of it, and it means romantic NH doesn't need to be adressed in the story anymore.

 

Still it doesn't change the fact Narsak has had no evolution for 3 years. Pretty disapointing.

Normally seeing Naruto dates Sakura should be enough to convey the message. And if can't still let go, it's her problem.

Now, if Naruto as I fear has been pussyfooting around Sakura, not being able to ask her out and not being to reject Hinata because he's a pussy, then I have every reason to be mad at him.

You're making poor excuse for Kishi trying to possibly pull a sh*tty love triangle out his ass so late in the story to milk his pairing dramu even more.

It's extremelly disapointing and it's bad for everything. It's bad for Naruto, it's bad for Sakura, it's bad for Hinata and it's bad for NaruSaku credibility.

 

That said, hopefully the story won't take this turn and we'll get a proper conclusion in the manga.

That's not the song. The song is called "Hoshi no Utsuwa" while this one is not called that way. Though it's that band who sing the theme song. But that's not the theme song.

It's not a necessity for Naruto to talk with Hinata, nor it's a necessity for Hinata to know that she isn't loved romantically by Naruto. Kishi can make a few lines in the manga or in the movie about this, but no surprise if he didn't at all cause the plot of the manga doesn't have a part about this.

 

It's going to be one of those possibilities in the manga or in the movie:

 

1- Naruto confesses to Sakura and Sakura tells him the same= we have NS.

 

2- Sakura confesses to Naruto and Naruto knows that she's not hiding anything= We have NS.

 

3- Naruto realizes, if he still thinks that way till now, that she's over Sasuke and some process happens from that which is concluded by a confession or something more creative from Kishi= Then afterwards we have NS.

 

4- One of the two or both push him/her or them to show their feelings or confess= We have NS.

 

5- No confession. Feelings revealed from one or both then showing that they're going to be together or already together= We have NS.

 

And there are still more how NS can happen, but I think that one of those how NS will be canonized.

Maybe we won't see who he's ending up with in the manga, but yeah apparently The Last is going to fill that gap before the epilogue.

The thing is the word "Love" in this manga and in here is used loosely but people always tend to connect it to romance  when we know how much focus this manga has focused on nakama/friendship love family love brotherly love  the song on that CD is also about bonds,  and I think when you connect that the plot of the movie is about Hanabi getting kidnap and Hinata in the focus  not to mention that their love is broken since the beginning of this manga like SasuNaru . Then  I think that this is the "Love" of this story ,  the marketing seems like one giant red hearing in order to lure people and so far it seems to work .

what if the mystery woman is sakura?! I mean in the last chapter of naruto because the movie evens happen before that chapter!!

and by looking at sakura and hinata design none of them is her , and I don't think that women is hanabi .

 

but maybe important woman in naruto live in the future , so maybe a future sakura?! because the design of that woman really looks like sakura with long hair!!

It seems that there's an epilogue and the movie will reveal how the things concluded in the epilogue happened.

 

We just have to wait and see if it's true that it's going to be that way.
