I'm trying to deny that it isn't about Naruto's own love life, I just have to be skeptical. Besides if it is true, then a lot of the marketing are not giving us much to believe it would be about Naruto and Sakura...

It specifically says "Uzumaki Naruto" as in the character, not the series. So the movie will involve love in Naruto's (the character) life.

Sorry, half-joking. Movie quote is saying something about a leftover ninja, which maybe about Naruto. I actually didn't apply it Naruto, and I actually think it is about another person. And I made the joke that that other person, the leftover ninja, is called Love since the L was capitalize. The leftover Ninja could be Naruto, but it could also mean another character entirely.

It's just me who added a capitalized letter, because it fits to the words 愛. Also, I don't know what leftlover means in english but it's the translation of the word. It can also mean "remained things", so I'd say it means Naruto was considered outcasted in love.

I think there is a high possibility of us getting an epilogue in the manga with Naruto being paired with one of the 2 girls and the movie could cover the blank as to how he got together with her. Though I think it's bad for us, but I won't elaborate on why, because this place has to stay cheerfull. 

But that's just a personnal opinion, nothing confirmed that there will really be an epilogue. Maybe that sentence suggests it, but it was the same with the few sentences that could have suggests a Part 3 before we knew The Last was teh very end.

I'm confident the pairings will be resolved in the manga (most likely in the final chapter 699), and the movie will just simply supplement that.

Not to be a negative but isn't Sakura kinda destroying NS? Negative or not, l want to hear how you guys feel. Since she confessed to Sasuke in front of Naruto, haven't you guys started doubting? Like it or not you know kitten is going to happen with NH this movie. this movie focuses a lot on hyuugas (Hanabi)...so yea. 

 

Someone please explain how NS can be canon at this point. I want to hear honest opinions, not ns forever and whatnot.

its as alot of people predicted since the 2011 ova, if it plays out like the ova, pretty much NS will be canon. it has to do with the theory that sakura won't realize she loves naruto until she thinks he's died in front of her, its probably gonna be like the ova with her crying over him, its as people say, you don't know what you have til its gone. either that or she lied about loving sasuke to make him not kill naruto and to save sasuke from himself and she actually loves naruto, somehow the ova is gonna play out ending as NS. and I'm not saying this as a pairing fan,because I'm not a pairing fan, I'm saying this as a long time anime fan who's gotten pretty good at predicting how things work out in the end of anime/manga xD

Kind of disappointing really. If Sakura at least get's over Sasuke then I'll be satisfied but you'd hope that Naruto would get some kind of closure towards his feelings for Sakura at the end of his own manga.

Guys l can see all the proof  need to see for NS to become canon. All of it will become meaningless if Sakura is revealed to still have feelings for Sauce after this. 

 

Every god damn time i think she has matured and will tell Sasuke to stfu, she regressed her character development. I don't really have hope in her anymore. Naruto's confession is what i'm waiting for.

that's a possibility too but I was thinking there would maybe be something like when naruto wakes up from being supposedly dead he says the same thing he said to her as sasuke about her forehead and she figures it out. I'm not saying the bench scene won't be revisited, I'm saying it will mostly be something that happens as an extra in the big NS scene xD

 

@Luna   lol well I do always try to be optimistic in my life just like naruto xD he is my favorite naruto character after all xD he reminds me so much of goku and I've always liked goku and vegeta, I grew up with dbz, it was my favorite show lol

Well I guess I'll be ok if it happens in the movie, but I would prefer if it's in the manga. We'll just have to wait and see...still NS has a 99% chance of happening at this point.

I just think they tried to say that this will be the last of Naruto's adventures to be told and love overall played a major role in it.

DBZ is actually one of my first anime after Sailor Moon. I grew up with dbz too.

What I fear is that this sentence could mean we'll see the canon couple in an epilogue of the manga and that the movie will explain how this couple became canon. 
But the problem is that, even if it wasn't a confession, Sakura reaffirmed her feelings for Sasuke a few chapters before the end. So I hardly see her with Naruto 5 chapters after she reaffirmed her feelings. It would be horrible writting from Kishi, except if we'll have a OAV 2.0 in the 2 chapters left. 
Anyway, as I was saying the fact Sakura reaffirmed her feelings for Sasuke makes NS impossible in the manga, even in an epilogue, not because it doesn't make sense or whatever, sure it has development, but Sakura saying she loves another guy just before we see her with Naruto is bad to me. So, what I fear is that it could mean we'll see NH out of the blue in the epilogue and that the movie wills erve to explain how they became a couple (aka the rescue mission for Hanabi). It all makes sense. Also I know some of you we'll reply: "But you said it yourself "out of the  blue"!". But the thing is that people could still understand more a couple out of the blue with Hinata being in love with Naruto and Sakura still loving Sasuke until the end, than Naruto ending up with Sakura when you still have read some chapters before that she loves someone else. 
 
I know that there is a whole development for NS, as a NS fan I'm aware of it. But I'm also logic. I mean my logic, because I know we won't agree on that and you guys have another way of thinking, and so another logic about that.
