I wonder if he's laid all of the previous chapters' where Sakura and Hinata individually have interacted with Naruto into his perspective when giving this interview. Did a possible romantic commitment between Sakura and Naruto not sit well with him? Or is it that he lost the nerve and chose to opt out with the satellite character while writing off years worth of sensitive and positive NS interaction as superficial and childish?

Could indeed be the case. I would have thought he'd maintain a degree of silence until the release of the movie, at least. How many people might they have turned away with a statement such as this, you know?

LE: OH, I remember!! He always use to say before the great ninja war thing, support Naruto, support Naruto! Why, maybe because he knew he was planning on doing this, so he can take money out because he knew people won't support such kitten? It surely seems so...

Q: Although it has been suggested there are two children that he had from Hinata in the last story, I wonder when it was been decided more or less the marriage between Naruto and Hinata?
 
MK: I chose Hinata for a long time. Even if I had a period where I was hesitant about whether or not exchange her with Sakura, she would be a woman too sever, as might be expected (ahaah). Moreover, Sakura actually loves wholeheartedly Sasuke.

Everytime Kishi is interviewed, whatever he says doesn't match what he's done in the manga. Lol, it's really weird. Not too long ago, he also said that Sasuke was pure... Sasuke is not pure. He's been corrupted by a world system that forced his brother to kill their family. He hasn't been "pure" since childhood. And now this thing about Sakura being too severe. In my mind, a manga-ka can do whatever he wants in his story because, I don't know, it's his own story. If Kishi thought Sakura was too severe, why not change her? He is the creator. Plus, it wouldn't feel like an asspull or look OOC for Sakura to change because "a violent woman being tender to the man she loves" has already been built upon. When Kishi says stuff like this, I get the feeling his fans know more about his characters than he himself.

I agree, it can't be that hard to fake an interview, and since the ads all show Hinata mostly , and it's hard to tell where Naruto stands when it comes to her, this is a great way to put down NS fans. ( I hope that's the case, cuse I really don't want to believe that somehow Kishi up and went the NH a d SS route on a whim.. :/. )

Yeah, you can tell that everything he supposedly said in that interview is garbage, even if it is a real interview. If he had it planned from the start, he wouldn't have even bothered with all the parallels and other NS stuff, and then he would have had Naruto and Hinata interact with each other more, and actually have Naruto pay attention to Hinata. All of this is just meaningless pandering to try to lessen the impact of his kitten ending. Unfortunately, the only thing he continues to do is insult the intelligence of his audience, as well as degrade females further. "If she gave up on Sasuke, she wouldn't be a woman" my ass. The guy has tried to murder her. Kishimoto is nothing more than a disgrace, and I really regret picking up this ridiculous series.

if that's so then why reinforce the parallel between Sakura and Kushina? Why the suggestive imagery and parallelism of Hinata failing to reach Naruto in time while Sakura swiftly appears at his side, tending to him, sharing and supporting his long-felt dream of becoming Hokage, or the mirror resurrections of both him and Sasuke with the girls they cherish most closest to them? It doesn't make any sense for him to continue misleading readers if he already had the final pairings set in stone.

I'm sorry but, that flies in the face of her desperately trying to save Naruto's like, and all her other "Soft" moments with him.

Calling her like that sounds to me more like a Naruhina fan then anything else...Not to mention Shika's dads words

If I had to say one thing that caught my eye it was the interviewer's use of the word "suggested".

 

EDIT: I'm currently reading Shokugeki No Soma and while the romance doesn't take the front seat, I find it a lot better than Naruto. At least all the love interests are getting some sort of development.
