You know, even with the raws presenting a kinder view of Sakura's words and Kakashi, Naruto and even Sasuke's actions, I can't see this manga being wrapped up in just a handful of chapters.
I guess it all depends on how the fight goes. Whether Sasuke submits to Narutos TnJ or not. But right now, whether Sasuke wins or 'loses' the fight, I can't seem him making the turn and becoming a good guy and coming back to Konoha.
I've read some comments over the last few days that some people think it will all be resolved by December, or by the time the movie comes out or even in a half-dozen chapters or so. But I can't help but think - wouldn't they be hyping up the dramatic conclusion of the manga? Not just the upcoming movie?
I feel like with this last chapter there's now a lot more Team 7 ground to cover than there was before.
