I'm gonna make a theory if no open ending that means NaruSaku right? If we do get an open ending that means more likely NaruHina is more likely to happen? Or does NH have no chance of being canon.

Not really. The thing is people are hell bent think this movie is the last of everything, the end of all. But oddly enough, they started off saying an intro to the new era. If true, then this movie will be treated as hype movie. As in give you an idea of the new era and whatever the continuous project is, well, that would be your real deal.

It didn't say such thing. It's the repeat of the poster, yet no one wants to think other direction. No one. If I were told you, hey this movie isn't the finale, you would change your train of thought.

The tagline is 'The movie that connects with the next generation begins to go beyond the original work'. To me that means Kishi will end his story conclusively and the movie just fills in some blanks.

And what about the part about the movie taking place in a "blank period" of the story (meaning before the epilogue) was that confirmed?

The Last takes place between the aftermath of the fight and the final epilogue of the manga, correct? If so, since the manga ends before the movie is out, I hope we get NS confirmed as canon in the manga.
