Imagine if Oda made Luffy and Vivi canon at the end of One Piece?  

 

 

Oh the storm would be massive I think much worse then Bleach or Naruto simply cause there are so many supporters from LuNa and the Luffy x Hancock pairing too.

 

 

Oh well, One Piece still has like 35% of the story left so we'll see what happens.   

 

 

 

 

 

On the subject back to Bleach, I want to ask, does everyone think Volume 48 with Ichigo loosing his powers post Aizen fight gives the story a conclusive ending? Cause ever since I finished reading and watching that moment I've always felt it would've been perfect to end it there.

Which is why he kept moving when Chad got demolished, but wen Rukia almost dies he drops everything? It's another reason why IH doesn't work, because Orihime will never be the most important woman in his life.

Eh, it's not like IH is NH, where there was no interaction or anything, but for me personaly it always was like "Kurasaki-kun" *He saves her* "Kurasaki-kun" *He saves her* not much other than that I can remember, bu that's probably just me.

Orihime has never been a fighter or even a defender for that matter(even though she had defending powers) she's always been a healer and add to her personality we have a damsell in distress with powers. Not that this is a bad thing but I doubt Orihime could even hate a fly and that's why Ichigo always felt the need to save her because of her nature.

I meant, that it's pretty much all I can remember from their development, and two moments, with Ichigo going berserk, and saving her from her brother.

The thing is that the deal breaker in Naruto was that he clearly wanted to be with Sakura only for him to randomly turn a 180* and give up on her, while being with a girl he had zero interest in. But with Ichigo, his relationship with Rukia was aways a strong but still platonic friendship (I mean, name ONE moment between them that was genuinelly romantic?) and Orihime's love while one sided, never was rejected, so that window was aways open.

Like I said, it's no different than the NS, SK vs. NH, SS. Kubo is just as bad as writing romance as Kishi; at the very least, Kubi should have gave us some implication of Ichigo seeing Orihime in a romantic light. And if IchiRuki wasn't going to be canon, at least make it more clear. And RenRuki; not once did I see them have any feelings outside childhood friends.

@Alex: my deal breaker was Sakura. I hated that Naruto gave up, but I would not ship NS if Sakura hadn't got over Sasuke, or Naruto ended up being the silver medal. Silver medal is not bad, but when it's against the guy that attempted to kill you more than once, and threaten to destroy everything you love, it's like, "why?" At the least, I wanted Sakura to give one punch or heavy criticism upon Sasuke, even if she still love him. That's why I can't stand SNS especially.

It would be a great day for me if Luffy and Vivi were canon at the end of One Piece, but I seriously doubt it's going to happen. Though if it did I actually think it wouldn't be nearly as bad as Bleach or Naruto, because I think the majority of the One Piece fandom is much more open and understanding of other possibilities.

Because every big arc need a damsel in distress be it rukia, orihime, or ishida.
I always tought that fullbring arc would make chad as the damsel. Turn out to be he's so irrelevant.

ichigo's character didn't have to take a 180 just to be with orihime. he didn't show romantic interest to both rukia and orihime. obviously something happened between the two in 10 years of course.

Um, it happened like immediately, which is very baffling, knowing how it feels like some Samurai Cop BS. Don't know what it is, well here's a direct quote from one scene:

Yeah I think there's a good chance of that happening, and that could be for the best considering the way Bleach and Naruto ended, but you know shippers like us will always find something to ship in any series.

They said IchiHime reminds them of NH, but i don't know and i don't care, for me IchiHime reminds me a lot of NS, this is just one from tons of example between their similarity.
