Sakura's always gonna care for Sasuke, no matter what happens. Like it or not, that's the kind girl she is. But that doesn't kill NaruSaku at all though.

Honestly, there's nothing to worry. Don't mix fighting with characters when dealt with asspull because that really didn't happen to Naruto, so you got to stop mixing up.

Reread the chapter. She made it clear she wanted to save him and loved him.

 

 

To everyone who replied. I agree that anything besides NS would be an asspull, but i'm sure you guys realize that Kishis the king of asspulls. 

 

When Sakura does go to save them both, she better have moved on, no crying to him. If she still cares about Sasuke after all this you know this ship is going to sink.

 

But at the other hand - she does not want to be with him as his girlfriend. It is tricky. Just like the confession she gave to Naruto. 

Her plan was to use Narutos affection towards her to keep him safe, not to actually confess. But in the end, it still turned out as an act of love without Sakura realizing it.

 

I am not that bothered by her recent confession towards Sasuke. Really. 

 

And yes, Kishimoto is a king of asspulls. 

But an NH asspull would mean that all the NS stuff in the Manga was completly meaningless (and it is a lot! also very obvious stuff, like Yamatos sentence) and just there for fun. 

And THAT just cant be.

I'm more disappointed at the fans of this ship, especially members of this forum. We claimed to have so much faith in our ship that all it takes to shatter it is one screenshot of Naruto and Hinata (which I must remind people they're not holding hands, they're not walking side by side and Naruto's expression says he's not happy in the least). That one screenshot has turned the majority of NS fans into negative zombies unsure our ship will be canon. I guess saying it won't happen and NH will makes them feel better, or listening to trolls who invades the forum when the negativity is in the air. Once again they ignore the development done in the manga and still is shocking to me. I only have one question to the fans who feel like giving up on our ship. If Hinata is the one for Naruto, then why is Sakura the only girl compared to Kushina? Kushina's parallel plays a big role in the romantic subplot of the story and Kishimoto doesn't make parallels in his manga for fun. Why is Sakura=Kushina and not Hinata?

After Naruto fullfills his promise all is left is to confess to.... Hinata!   Didn't he just mentioned his promise to Hinata-chan, he stayed away from sadness and pain he wanted to protect Hinata's smiling face, didn't he? And his good guy's pose to Hinata so cool I'm totally not mistaken, I'm sure of it

Because Kushina is Naruto's mother, so Sakura is Naruto's "sister".

I'd like to remind you that incest in this manga is a burning topic though...

Eh, it's more than that. It's a combination of things building up since Kishimoto decided giving Hinata more screentime in the war was a good idea. There was a reason so many people panicked in 615, and a reason why seeing Hinata and Naruto in a promotional picture together raises red flags. It doesn't help that she had a memorable sacrifial confession scene.

 

You should be disappointed at Kishimoto, he's the one who messed up the pairing situation for everyone.

Guys l can see all the proof  need to see for NS to become canon. All of it will become meaningless if Sakura is revealed to still have feelings for Sauce after this. 

 

Every god damn time i think she has matured and will tell Sasuke to stfu, she regressed her character development. I don't really have hope in her anymore. Naruto's confession is what i'm waiting for.

I've already explained 693 before but I'll do it again. Sakura didn't confess to Sasuke again, she merely explained her feelings for him and relayed out loud how pathetic she felt for loving him even though she knew it never mattered to him. It was her realization that she held onto those feelings so that she could save him for no reason. She realized her delusion that her love for Sasuke only mattered to her and Naruto was always going to be the only one who would save him. That's why she made one last plea to see if he ever cared for her at all. That's the reason she'll be able to move on.

Not to be a negative but isn't Sakura kinda destroying NS? Negative or not, l want to hear how you guys feel. Since she confessed to Sasuke in front of Naruto, haven't you guys started doubting? Like it or not you know kitten is going to happen with NH this movie. this movie focuses a lot on hyuugas (Hanabi)...so yea.

Meh. I'm not worried 'bout that. Even before the raw/Viz translation came out where Kakashi said Sakura wasn't trying to get with Sasuke and just wanted to save him, I just saw it as Sakura not having dealt with all this stuff. If you keep something bottled up inside, keep it to yourself and not tell anyone about it, you won't heal and you'll eventually explode. That's how we as human beings are. I saw a girl who was completely fed up with the way things were going.

 

And on the positive, so far as I'm concerned, SasuSaku is confirmed at having no chance of happening with that chapter. Sasuke said he had no interest in her. The SS fandom seems to think he was just covering up his feelings or something, but a guy who supposedly loves you simply does not cast a traumatic genjutsu over you. I don't care if it's "better than killing her", it was still among the most morally depraved things he could have done. 

 

The only "threat" that remains is NH--and that direction wouldn't make much sense at this point, since NH is still miles behind the development NS has. I don't think the author is heading that direction--even if Sakura wasn't interested in a relationship with Naruto and even if she never becomes interested, I don't see Naruto choosing Hinata as a rebound. He's never shown any romantic interest in her, always had eyes for Sakura and no one else. *shrug*

This manga one side love triangle with two boys one girl on it. With sakura in the middle as the decider.

That's why I always believe that the romance in this manga will end when naruto make his confession.

What bothers me is that NH/SS is the easiest route Kishimoto could take. If there weren't only 2 chapters left, I'd be certain of an NS outcome, but since there are, it's easier for Kishimoto to simply drop Naruto's feelings in favor of making NH canon. Like it or not, he did lay some groundwork for it during the war, all it would take is a hug when she gets out of IT.

 

As for SS... well, Kishimoto apparently has no intention of making Sakura get over him, so he could just leave it implied.

 

If you ask me what the outcome will be, I'll be surprised if NH doesn't become canon. The one thing Kishimoto could have done to light my NS hopes again, which is confirm what Naruto's feelings are, he didn't (and there's simply not enough time to do it).

 

Yeah, yeah, I'll be told to shut up with the negativity. But Kishimoto has unfortunately given me no reason at all to stay positive.

 

EDIT: Also, keep in mind that I'm assuming we'll get a pairing conclusion in the manga rather than the movie, which is a scenario that indeed favors NH.

True. The thing that's been holding NS back is the ambiguity surrounding Sakura's feelings for Sasuke and whether she has any for Naruto or not (though hinted a time or two).

It's true that there's potential for a NS moment as well. If it weren't for the fact that Sakura admitted to still loving Sasuke a few chapters ago, I'd give NS the edge on this. Like I said, Kishimoto is not helping.
