Tried to kill Danzo, chidoring Karin, tried to kill Itachi, killed Zetsu, right now is trying to kill Naruto...all of it is self defense? Please.

Danzo's murder is justified.

So is Deidara's.

 

Chidorying Karin or attacking Naruto is not.

He murdered close to 20 samurai, was responsible for Danzo's death, and he killed the original White Zetsu. Sasuke's kill list is not so extensive like Orochimaru or Obito's, but there's still quite a bit of blood on his hands. 

 

Don't forget Deidara.  Like Danzo, Deidara technically killed himself but because of Sasuke.

I have 100% confidence that NaruSaku will become canon, however, I am uncertain how it will go down. One thing is for sure, whichever pairings become canon, it's gonna be written fast and dirty. It's going to be rushed. Presently, I can see one of two things happen:

1. NaruSaku is resolved in the manga. Either in a similar way to the OVA or something else. I'm personally hoping to see a reference to forehead kiss scene, and I actually want it to be made clear in the final chapter that Naruto and Sakura settled down together.

2. NaruSaku is resolved in a movie, however, it won't be resolved in The Last, but the entries of the new era project that follows. I can imagine this happening so they can draw out the franchise as long as possible. I don't believe The Last is geared towards NaruHina, not at all, but Studio Pierrot will Studio Pierrot, and I get the sense that if the pairing wars aren't resolved in the manga, then they won't be resolved in the first entry to the new era project.

 

I am, of course, hoping that NaruSaku is resolved in the manga once and for all. The manga is supposed to have a conclusive ending, so I hope Kishimoto resolves the romance subplot. I don't particularly care how badly written or rushed it might at. This late into the game, I expected. I just want it to happen and be over with.

I agree.  

 

Sasuke is a killer.  Just because he sucks at it -- despite the hype and his arrogance -- doesn't change the fact that Sasuke would have killed a lot more people, including Sakura, if he had his choice.
