In essentially 110 mins, Kishi/SP can destroy 692 chapters of NaruSaku development.

I wake up this morning and all I think about is this kitten of a ending, some how the story became about saskue and hinata and what they want.

 

Now this movie they forcing sakura to make hinata go with naruto total ooc force naruto to somebody he doesnt love I just cant take this asspull.

Neither. That will be one of the lowlights of the movie. How far will SP go? How made do they want to make NS fans, more importantly Japanese NS fans.

The real ending should consist of Narusaku being together and Hinata becoming leader of her clan and with her friendship with naruto they change the hyuga clan.  As for saskue he leaves the village but knows he would always have friends to return too. would this ending been so damn hard for kishi to protray

Why did Kishi do all this? Like why? Things would've been so much easier if he just went NS, then he would've had more panels to close everything else up and the epilogue was a mistake tbh. You only have an epilogue if you've concluded everything else that you needed to conclude. Plus a movie to bridge 1 chapter to another? Has something like this been done before?

The most painful part to me is that Sakura ignored Naruto as soon as she got there. All of her development went down the drain when Sasuke apologized and she said "For what?" Then the whole thing where she wanted to go with him only added salt to that. And Naruto just stood by.

I find it funny that all those moments between the two got blown off like nothing ever happened. Kishi actually ignored elements in his writing, which is pretty damn disgraceful. It shows that he had no respect for his characters (as he forced Naruto's feelings to the side and literally just left them hanging, and he turned Sakura into a fangirl again that jumped over a guy that did nothing but belittle her and try to murder her, at the expense of the guy that truly loves her, at the drop of a dime) nor any respect for his readers.

It's been a day and a half, and I'm still disgusted.

It's weird but now I can see that Kishi really did get tired of his manga. 699 was clearly a rush job so he could make SS happen. It's 700 that showed me just how tired of this story he became. It's like he said since it's not completely my story anymore I'm not going show a truly happy ending. I say this because of the way both Naruto and Sasuke are portrayed as somewhat absent fathers. Both Naruto's son and Sasuke's daughter seem to be rather unhappy with their dads. There just wasn't a lot of genuine happiness portrayed in the last chapter among the characters. And to be honest I really say this because Kishi didn't finish his story he just ended it as quickly as he could.

The Sakura I know would never have done that. Also, I'm not sure if it's right because it is Google Tramslated but some of the Japanese reactions were positive, saying I'm glad Naruto ended up with Hinata instead of Sakura and then it hit me. Kishi purposely regressed Sakura's character to get people to hate her so that he could pair up Naruto and Hinata

That was the general idea if sakura is single and didnt return to young fangirl it would be even harder for them to make this asspull NH, cause more than likely naruto would be still in love with sakura.

I thought it would get better but it gets worse. If there was no movie I would be fine because the final chapters are crap but this movie is going to kill any trace of NS. That's what I'm afraid of and I'm afraid that a majority of the fanbase are going to accept it and let Kishi off the hook

That what makes me so damn sick too kishi totally destroyed NS for this ending.

I say, the canon ending is the best way to go since Kishi suddenly scrapped any and all of Sakura's character development. And I'm proven right that it is not the best outcome in the storytelling point of view.

 

I now see why there is this seemingly mutual exclusion of liking NH and liking NS. It is how the Naruto fandom views Kishi's treatment of Sakura as a character.

 

The NH fans saw Kishi's writing for what it actually is at the time of the latest chapters. And so they want to give Naruto a favor by not pairing him up with the supposed heroine. She's not worth it, they think.

 

Meanwhile, us here held on to the hope, especially in the middle and much of late Part II, that Kishi would progress Sakura to develop and mature to be a very awesome kunoichi, as many of our earlier posts would show. Had he continued with it, NS would be obvious endgame, and, in my probably biased opinion, would be a more worthy conclusion to the manga.

 

Alas our hunch was not the case. Maybe this pairing might be considered by those who appreciate good stories as one of the best endings that didn't happen.

 

I have made peace with what canonically transpired, but I would continue shipping NS, in which Sakura actually got her much needed development.

i bet that naruto will confess to Sakura in the first part of the movie by saying her "you sure have a charming forehead... It makes me to kiss it" and Sakura replies "Nice, Naruto but Sasuke-kun has already stole this forehead".
