Take it from someone who is living in japan(study abroad). From talking and snooping around alil. I can deduce. That This is turning out to be a massive troll. Though I'm not completely discredited the chances of nh. But from the way things are looking, this is gonna go down as the biggest troll of all time. I feel it, my friends feel it, and it just seems way to convienent from all angles. My host families children even see it comming and they say it's a simple plot device, and marketing gimmick to "raise the tension and drama" (quote kishi). We just need to be patient. And remember romance is alil different here than it is back home in the west. A few panels or even a quick 30 second scene can seal the deal. It will be the last possible thing that is confirmed, just like most stories. So don't lose faith, been years. Let's just be patient for a few more weeks. It will all come to light. Though I'm hoping. Is all put to rest in the epilogue here this week.

The problem with tat is Kishi saying that its going to revolve around romance and love and Hinata taking the center stage of all promos with Naruto

Dude, seriously. If the end will be in the manga, until the last chapter we didn't have any Hinata panel. 
All what we've see is that Hinata's feelings for Naruto are being emphasized. And Naruto it seems like now he is about to understand womans better. (Like Naruto noticing Sakura's beauty) So, he will talk to her, she will let him go.
SP is making look Hinata as a martyr, because they worship her. AND, because this is what they always do: Scenes without context, teasing for the most "controversial" parts and keeping in secret the most important thing of the movie. I mean, we didn't even see Sakura more that 2 seconds. They are holding her scenes the most they can.

there was also the interview after battle of gods where akira said he would make vegeta the main character of the next movie, but he said it was an idea of his, so people aren't sure he'll go through with it
