Desperation much? Oh well. Though I admit, I would have gave kudos if Sakura and Sasuke's dialogue actually connected, but they're different. I feel like Kishi did that on purpose.

I'm not worried about the pairings anymore. Kishi has shown enough development between the two and the 631 trump card destroyed the other fandoms from my POV. The way NaruSaku becomes canon is still questionable though. Kishi writes NS scenes with a lot of emotion in my opinion and i feel like I should worry about it when the moment happens to judge if it's good or not. Truthfully, I have more curiousity than worry when it comes to the NS canon moment.

I was worried after I read 615, it lasted for about an hour. But how can you be constantly worried about it? Must be tiresome. Just wait and see. :) If anything, go by probability, logic etc and not hope. Don't bite any nails.

 

This is not necessarily what your question is about , but I think it's relevant to the topic and has a point.

I've never been worried I have known for so long Kishi has been heading the NS road since part 1, even if he admitted he wasn't planning in making any official pairing. But the hints are there, the development is there and the parallels are there too there's nothing to be worry about. The other pairings doesn't have any of the three mentioned, especially the parallels. I'm relax and waiting for hat big moment which will seal the pairing for good, which I have a good feeling it might be sooner than I think.

I'm not worried about the pairing not becoming canon at all. If it didnt happen I would honestly probably be disappointed for like 10 mins. Although, kishi has made it so blatantly obvious that it is the end pairing that nothing has really worried me recently at all.

10mins? You're a stronger person then I. After all this development and hinting I don't think I could get over it. (Still barely over Taiora, but u guys have heard me ramble about that before). With that said I was never really worried, it was sealed for me after Naruto said he like Sakura in episode one (started with anime)

Well, to answer my own question, I would say I am a little worried with how it becomes canon. This is probably the hardest task that Kishi has to do, next to if planned, Sasuke's redemption for everyone to accept him. I am only worried because I hope he don't find himself limited by the page numbers as well as amount of chapters in a volume.

 

I'll admit, I was skeptical after 615, probably because everyone in here went red alert, so I was buying it. Thankfully, I got myself pull together and I was fine. The community have to wait 2-3 weeks to find out next, which is bad because people in here needs a reminder. Luckily, not only we got false alarm, but we also got the reconfirmation, which destroyed other potential for canon. So yeah, now the greatest challenge is how to make it work. Let's hope for the best.

I do believe he is. I still remember the last foreshadowing from all Bijuus, realizing that he could be something, which I believe they were going to say the new RS. Which begs the question, how to balance Naruto vs. Sasuke---ah well, who cares for now.

The thing many people don't consider when it comes to pairings, does the story actually allow it? What I mean is, the way things are written as is, would the aspect of certain pairings be allowable and acceptable to the story? Many people tend to forget this and think that things can magically change in an instant at all time, truth is they can not otherwise character development and pacing are screwed up due to constant shifts. Look at it like this for the way naruto is written:

 

For NaruSaku, yes the story greatly allows it, there was tension in the start and a few for it in between the land of iron and up to 615 at different parts for the pairing (generally fandom) itself, but the drama just leads to other stuff. As a whole, it was impossible in the start due to Sakura hating Naruto, but it became more and more real as the story progressed and they became friends. Now with events like 630 and 631, its becoming a much greater possibility especially due to the Kushina foreshadow of finding a girl like her.

 

For NaruHina, can it happen? Well yeah, both respect each other, but without building on the past interaction or even attempting to make a bigger cause out of it, should it happen, it would look weaker. The story can allow it but it would need to overcome a lot of story issues and make it believable after so much focus between Naruto and Sakura rather than Naruto and Hinata. Especially after not making more out of events like 615, which while the highest moment for Hinata, if it has not been built on here, its going to be hard to see another major moment for Hinata in the future that could have the same impact since for Naruto, the only real issue beyond Obito, madara, and the ten tails is Sasuke himself, and Hinata has nothing in league of importance when it comes to Sasuke. NH exists but too much stacked against it.

 

For SasuSaku- the story does not allow this one at all at this point, not only due to the negative portrayal but as everything occurred, things just degraded, 2 killing attempts, Sakura feeling unhappy/now untrusting of him, Sasuke not having even apologized to her yet, its hard to imagine. As of 635 this pairing is on red alert for a disaster if Sakura herself basically has enough of his attitude.

I mainly said 10 mins because I am so sure this pairing will become canon. I am however worried on how kishi will go about to make this pairing canon. However, I don't see it as something to get so downed on if it doesn't happen. Of course I would be upset but Idk I don't think it would effect me for so long. It's just so obvious that it will happen anyways.

I'm not worried anymore, as I think it's pretty clear that NS will be the final pairing, but I do have an irrational fear that SS/NH will happen.  Like some people really believe that those two pairings will happen, so I sometimes get concerned that they're seeing something that we're not. But then I look through all the NS development and I'm okay.

The only way i could be worried is if Kishi makes Rin parallel to Hinata. I mean , if Hinata is the one to wake up Obito and he is like '' Oh she reminds me of Rin'' 

 

However, i don't think that Kishi is planning to do something like that. If someone have to be consider a parallel to Rin i hope it would be Sakura.

 

In fact, SasuSaku is the only other pairing that could be an obstacle for NaruSaku. I think Sakura cleary have some feelings left for Sasuke, and we will not see NaruSaku canon unless she resolve those feelings.

Nah, im not worried by the least. Just as gravenimage put it; all the parallels and development between the two, its just obvious that NS is the endgame, and as many have stated, all thats left now is how kishi makes them official. Hinata never mattered imo, what really matters is the love triangle in team 7, hinata got what she wanted (whatever that was..) and now imo she's over and done with. T7 love triangle is all that did, and still matters.

Naruto didnt give up on sakura during the poal, if anything, it showed his selfless love for her. Does that sound like moving on? no. About the hinata line. No, just no. He never saw hinata in a romantic light, the only thing he thinks of her is a dark, shy weirdo. But she's his friend just like ino and tenten, nothing special. He definitely has a closer bond with shikamaru, lee and neji then the rest of the rookies. Oh and what about sakura? she's his girlfirend. Sasuke's his best friend and rival.

You might be right. But then again Kishi can troll the fandom yet again leaving her feelings for Naruto unresolved even when he got together with Sakura. I see it that way because I don't think Hinata's feelings for him are not important to the story unlike Sakura's feelings. She's a side character either she moves on or stays the same and she won't do a thing about it, I see the second choice happening. She won't let him go keeping her crush and obsession but she's not going to do a thing to approach Naruto, especially if he does get together with Sakura. People shouldn't give Hinata's feelings that much thought with how terrible Kishi has developed her character.

This^ there are some manga and anime that make pairings from out of the blue for fun. For example Gundam Seed Destiny I love Atrum/Gagali I really like this pairing but all of the sudden its shows in the anime that she stops seeing him because of her work and without a conversation he suddenly ends up with Lunamaria's younger sister even if it wasn't shown that they got together but they were hints that he might have. Especially when Gagali told her" take care of him" yeah she's handing him to her on a silver platter. Then there was Shin who was deeply in love with this girl Estella. Throughout the series it is clear he's really in love with her, then tragedy strikes as she dies and suddenly while he's in big depression he kisses Lunamaria who was comforting him and just like that they're an official couple I mean seriously WTF. They made the development but just like that they destroy the pairing they were building up just to make another one from out of nowhere without any development whatsoever, thank goodness Kishi isn't like that and he will never destroy the pairing he has been developing for years. To this day I'm still frustrated to how that series of Gundam ended in the pairings department.

I'm personally not going to get my hopes up in the end. I wouldn't be surprised if Kishi paired Naruto and Hinata since for some reason they're more popular to fans. I would be happy if narusaku was the official pair (if there are pairings at all).

Actually no, the most popular pairing in japan is SS than NS (excluding yaoi) NH isnt popular.
And I dunno why people keep calling sakura useless in p1, imo she wasnt useless, for gods sake, she protected naruto and sasuke in the FOD and she saved naruto from danger in the land of waves arc when she jumped on him so he can duck, and the time she saved him in the forest of death and when she jumped in to save sasuke from gaara and she woke naruto up from the genjutsu by kakashis orders and was assigned by kakashi to go with naruto, shikamaru and pakkun to go look for sasuke and if I recall correctly more. What do you think ino was more useful? Or hinata and tenten for the matter? So I sincerely hope I wont have to hear that claim again.
