Imao, that's understandable. I think the anime is better, too. Little heads up: Season comes out next year... We've been waiting two years already XD

2 years! damn. Is there a date for when it will be released??
And I probably would pick it up, sometime in the future. 

Not sure about release date... I can't wait b/c you'll be baffled by some peoples' betrayal in the future. Absolutely shocking! Don't go to the wiki, just saying. Oh, there also some OVAs if you wanna check them out.

Do yourself the favor and watch this anime! You need to get see prob one of the best animated animes EVER. The story of Fate/Stay Night is a little bit complex when you first get into it, but you'll get the hang out of it (wiki is prob your best friend when it comes to this series).

Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Budget Bladeworks will start Part 2 this April if I'm not mistaken. Finally, b/c I've been dying to see this anime continuing.

Fate/Zero is the prequel to Fate/Stay Night. It was a visual novel series released in 2006 or so I think and was adapted into an anime by Ufotable in 2011. The first adaptation was the Fate/ Route with Saber as the main female lead. It was adapted by Studio Deen in 2006. What you are watching right now is the Unlimited Bladeworks Route that focuses on Rin Tohsaka ;)
