4.2. It's jokes were just basically making fun of things, it was long, drawn out and not very funny. The only good part was the AT&T spin off with dropped calls. Everything else sucked, especially since Hancock was hardly present.

8/10 Sure its not the best movie and it can be described by many as stupid and illogical, but hey, I like it. It's funny and im sure most people would agree if they watched it.

10/10
Absolutely amazing in every single aspect and detail. I was in the theater for almost 3 hours and it didn't seem like that much time had passed when the movie ended. I came out with puffy eyes and a stuffy nose and I haven't stopped thinking about the movie ever since I left that room. There were several moments that had you just crying your eyes out, and I swear I saw some of the men sniffling a bit too. Honestly, it's not a chick flick. It's a beautiful and stunning piece of artwork that makes you feel like it deserves every single Oscar out there.
Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchet better get a nomination & award for their hard work. Brad Pitt especially was completely enthralling in this movie, mostly for his great skill in acting as both old Benjamin and young Benjamin throughout the movie.
I would recommend it to anyone out there, trust me. There's a Forrest Gump for every decade. (and if you don't like Forrest Gump, well, this is just a beautiful movie.)

Oh my fish...Don't even ask why I watched this. Me and my cousins were bored and went to Blockbusters. Originally we were going to get CJ7 [xDDDD] but we got this instead. It was...Funny, at some parts but everything else kinda cheesy.

Amazing sound, special effects, and a brain twisting plot full of surpises. Maintains an exellent balance of action and the characters were so incredibly realistic. Nothing was predictable, and kept me guessing throughout the whole three or so hours.

This movie is probz really good for kids, but as I was forced to watch it (had to watch a movie with my bros), it was OK... There were some really funny scenes (lulz at Rhino and the Pigeons), and I liked Mittens and Bolt, but what I didn't like was the utter pointlessness of the movie. There was NO moral, and if there WAS one, it wasn't a very good one (seeing as I didn't notice it). I also agree with the other person who said Bolt: the humans were boring

Ping Pong Playa 6/10 Kind of funny but always... sometimes the jokes are tumble weed rollers. It'll probably either be better if you're asian or worse depending on how exaggerated you think the main protagonist in the film is. But it's decently written.
Baby - 3/10 The basic premise of the film is an asian kid growing up, and the ganster life. That being said, this thing.... is crap. Poorly written. Example being that the writer believes a swear word every other time = truly gangster. I used to hang out with the wrong crowd and there are a few people who swear like sailors but not every one of them swears every other word. And some of the motivations or actions of the characters in the film don't make a spit of sense. Of the two asian based films I watched this was by light years the worse. It was good for a laugh though, seeing as how it so readily reflects the poor quality of most of my nationality's home made quality feature films.
Disaster Movie -0/10 gotta watch it for work... even if I don't want to.... I have to find some form of goodness in the film to promote it.... And I found none, so i will simply say "I haven't seen it but I've heard good things."
Pineapple Express - 7/10 The films that Aptow does that Rogen stars in are funny but not punchline funny, not topical humor funny, not anything crafted really, it's just honest dialogue, most if it probably improvised, that mimics real life speech, in that sometimes when we ramble something funny just comes up. That being said, I don't think he's very funny at all. Would he be a cool guy to hang out with and shoot back some beers, totally. But I don't find him very funny. The film itself is probably more action than humor, sometimes i blends it well enough so that you are laughing during the action, but i just don't think this film is the end all comedy that many of my friends or respected critics I read make it to be. It is a decent buddy/ action film with sprinkles of genuinely funny stuff and handfuls of pretentious comedy. I guess I should come back to this later, because it's, at this point, a victim of very high expectations.
Bridge to Teribithia - 7/10 a touching if not often confusing film about real world vs dreams, relationships, and getting through things together. This film did poorly in theatres and i had always meant to watch it but never got to it until recently. I understand why, it was marketed horribly, and with something like this I understand why, if you market the reality of the film people will be uninvested when the fantastical elements of the film happen and if you market the fantasy than people will be slightly thrown by the reality aspects. They went with what would make them more money in the beginning and went with the fantasy aspect. This film has one of the better child actresses I've seen in awhile since Anna Sophia Robb, and I was very surprised to learn that she's not related to Natalie Portman, Keira Knightly, or Scarlet Johansson, because she bears a striking resemblance all of them. Hopefully she doesn't go the way of Dakota Fanning, and ruin her career by doing overly dark similar roles. this is a good film about relationships being built among the adversities of two very different kids.

i caught the movie about a quarter in -- but even still, it was great 8D different storylines weave into the movie and by the time it's almost over, all those ties have coupled onto eachother and it just climaxes and falls into place.

basically a movie about a story of love intertwined with bitterness and acceptance and completion and GOD i'm glad i caught this movie (:
but baw at the ending, it was gorgeously bittersweet ;_;

I FINALLY got to watch this film!
It played out differently to my expectations, but I enjoyed it. I really liked how they borrowed an angle from the comic The Killing Joke and had the Joker trying to prove that anyone could go crazy like him, given the right circumstances. I would have liked to have seen more of the Joker's history - how/why he became the way he is. However, Yoko had a really good point in our IM conversation - that giving the Joker history might have risked making the viewers feel pity for him. The Joker isn't someone who should be pitied, he doesn't WANT pity. Heath Ledger portrayed him brilliantly.
I felt it was a shame that we didn't see much of Two-Face (hence the 0.5 deduction in the score), I liked him. Some critics had said the plot was overcomplicated, but I was able to understand it and enjoy it. I would love to watch it again right now - if only we didn't have Obama being sworn in today, and the new (and final) series of Galactica on tonight. XD
Tomorrow it is.

The Little Mermaid - INFINITY!
cos i'm a girl that grew up with 2D |D
the songs still made me sing-along.
the animation was still breathtaking.
and i still laughed at the humor, still was scared at the scarytiems, and still cried when Pappa Triton blew up Arielies Statue of her Main Squeeze.
INFINITY!

though -1 point for making me go "wtf why aren't the people screaming their brains out when they see all the merpeople? D8" XDDD

I don't exactly know why, but I never really got into the movie. The acting was good, and the story interesting enough. However, maybe because I kept hearding it being compared to Forrest Gump (one of my favourite movies of all time), that my expectations were higher. It just never tugged at my heart strings like Forrest Gump did, and I found it a bit of a chore to sit through the whole thing.

Series creator Craig McCracken's attempt to take the origins of the PPGs and make an 88 Minute film out of it are great, abeit uneven. While it is pretty funny and action packed, there are a couple of scenes that needed to be shortened, for example the game of Tag that destroys Townsville runs on a little too long. Not to mention the scene where the PPGs strand themselves on an asteroid when they think not just the whole city but the Professor hate them. But besides that, this is one of the better feature length movies adapted from a cartoon and is a must see for any PPGs fan.

It was a very moving story about the history of the Lesbian/Gay community; I was almost in tears near the end. I liked that it was kept very close to the original events and that the actors DID resemble the originals. Overall, it seems deserving of it's Oscar nomination.
The Reader 9/10
At some moments during the moment, I was slightly disturbed (thus the -1) but I just couldn't seem to find it in myself to STOP watching because I was in all honesty 'glued' to the screen. It had a sort of 'thriller' quality, and A LOT of shocking moments. It's worth a watch if you like movies that surprise you and make you think. Kate Winslet was phenomenal in the movie also. Also deserving of it's Oscar nominations.

Benjamin Button - 9/10. It was well written and well done, and bonus for it being based of F. Scott's Fitzgerald short story. But the length was too much for me to handle.
Bolt - 7/10. It was lacking something, don't know what... maybe what the other guy had said.
Twilight - 8/10. Yes go ahead and shoot me. Liked the movie, couldn't stand the book, shouldn't it be the other way around? I was pressured by my sister, my Dad (he isn't your run-of-the-mill father) his girlfriend and her daughter. It was done well and I liked the stupidity of some of the scenes (like why drink tap water if you have two cases of bottle water right there?) Music was incredible.
Twilight - 8/10. Yes... saw it again.. my dad was raving about Bella's Uggs (which we now both own, turns out their unisex boots), couldn't say no to the music, my friend and I got a hoot outta it the second time around, it was more... funny...
Valkyrie - 9.5/10. I don't care about Tom Cruise, sure it that roll could have been casted better, but it was based of a True War story, nuff said.
Slumdog Millionaire - 10/10. I just can't find the words to explain it, sorry. While there was that one scene that made me stick to my stomach, I can't dock the points because of that.
Defiance - 10/10. Another case I can't explain, based off another True war story, I'm just a sucker for that I guess.
mmhmm... all of them have been seen rather close between each other, startin around christmas time to about three days ago. Now I just need to see Bride Wars and Gran Torino and I'll be happy for now XD
