Undoubtedly Super Street Fighter IV is coming out and I need some input from the Street Fighter pro's; In your opinion which Fight stick truly lives up to it's name or best?

Here's some I have considered:

Street Fighter IV Tournament edition Fight Stick Round I

Street Fighter IV Tournament edition Round 2

Super Street Fighter IV Tournament S Edition

(I guess that all three are made the same except graphics design?)

Real Arcade Pro. EX by Hori

Real Arcade Pro. EX-SE by Hori

The first two are pretty much the same arcade stick with different art, as far as I know it's identicle in every way, The S is basically the same but without the edges so it's slightly smaller, I have the original TE stick and I find it's great for Street fighter, takes me back almost two decades when I first played in the arcades, it's a good feeling, though I'm not all that happy with the button layout, I prefer the Hori layout.

The button and everything is great, and i's sturdy, though I'm not sure you can say the same about Mad Catz own quality, They are famous for crappy quality products, and from the SE stick I found out on thing They will cut corners even if it saves then a few pennies, (the screws are the cheapest i'ev ever seen.

I personally would go for the Hori EX-SE stick,(Would have too but not easy to get hold of in UK, specially a year ago.) this is brilliant, made by a company that's been making Arcade sticks for decades to satisfy the Japenese market and considering they still play in arcades there it can't be easy to satisfy them. for a few dollors more than the Regular Pro EX, you are getting full Seimutsu buttons and arcade stick, so genuine Arcade parts as well, I'm not sure about the regular pro. EX, but I beleive they use regular Hori buttons probably Joystick too, and those are just not as good.

Ofcourse if you can get hold of the Xbox 360 Real Arcade Pro. EX-SA for the same price it's even better as that is a full sanwa kit and pretty much identicle to the arcade machines.

If I could, I'd ship some stuff to you guys. We get Japanese import stuff here first, arcade sticks, games, etc.

Getting it in the UK, as I see it... is really expensive. (Import tax and stuff, plus the stick itself isnt cheap at all). Here, we can haggle with the store owners, and sometimes it's cheaper than what online retailers sell.

Thanks Cloud, I live in the U.S. so it may costs more, It may be better for me to get one made by Arcade-In-a-box. The only downside Is buying it and their won't be any more Street Fighters or other good fighting games come out.

It's not all that expensive in the US compared to what we have to pay here in the UK, the MadCatz TE arcade stick cost £150 when it came out here, It would have been slightly cheaper to buy it from the US on Fleebay and get it shipped to the UK.

Alteratively you could try Ebay, they have some Sellers who do customs sticks with Full Sanwa parts for a decent amount.

Ok I finally broke down and got an Xbox 360. Picked one a NIB Elite System for $200. Got a Marvel vs. Capcom Stick and SF4 also. So, if anyone is up for game or is willing to let me join in on any invites you guys may have let me know. I will be getting my Gold membership today so I'll be getting online soon. Going to pick up MW2 so I can shoot my in-laws.

If anyone is up for a few matches against a Guile Player let me know.

Ok I finally broke down and got an Xbox 360. Picked one a NIB Elite System for $200. Got a Marvel vs. Capcom Stick and SF4 also. So, if anyone is up for game or is willing to let me join in on any invites you guys may have let me know. I will be getting my Gold membership today so I'll be getting online soon. Going to pick up MW2 so I can shoot my in-laws.

If anyone is up for a few matches against a Guile Player let me know.

I did, but i had other expensives at the time. I'm just getting around to getting another ps3 now. I decided I'm not getting another 360 though.

Yeah, I find myself playing the PS3 a lot more than my 360 especially the web browser that I use sometimes, it's still good to have the 360 though for the exclusives.

Yea no problem. The one thing I do plan on doing is getting Marvel vs. Capcom 2 and Super SFVI when it comes out. I still have my hori ps3 stick.

I spent a little of last night playing trial mode again, it feels like my execution is getting better - little to no wasted movements. The problem is keeping my mind and movements focused in the middle of a furious fight. ;;

As I said, majority of us, including me, has 360. I wish I have a PS3 (still awaiting for cheap price drop of $199) so we can balance it out for tournaments.

I own both but I play exclusively on Xbox360, much better online experience in my opinion, PSN is a mess, if it wasn't free i'd complain.

I won't join you guys online, my Street fighter skills have 10 years worth of rust on them, and they are even worst online, the slight lag issue really annoys me.

Haven't had any problems with playing on my ps3 from before. Besides the occassional d/c when they're about to lose.

Whoa. I can't believe I've been missing this! I can't wait for this game now. Smiter's post though, wow, thats some epic changes to the game. I mean cutting down Ryu is a must, he's WAY to overpowered in Super Street Fighter. I can't wait for Cody though, loks like he may be the best new character in the game or the Deejay and that Hammer moves hes got. Intense stuff! haha

The Replay Channel just sounds more awesome the more I hear. 150 save slots (on the preview build, it could change) sounds like plenty of matches to store and learn from. You can even see the button commands the players use, so you can learn what combos they used, and use them in your own game.

Looking at the character changes posted on Shoryuken, Cammy hasn't changed much. Her Cannon Drills (Spiral Arrow) are a little safer, but not much else. I can't wait to try out Makoto and Dudley, though.
