Yea Mizura is a great debater, I especially like her Anti-NaruHina essay. It proves NaruHina is a bad relationship from a Hinata fans perspective. Also I couldn't find the link to it, but if you can find it jmf you should really read The Great Pairings Debate topic on NarutoFan, it's old but theres still a lot of good arguments in there.

Edit: Aethos, you have a point. There nowhere near enough development for NaruHina right now for it to be more than a cheap copout. Oh and I hate DBZ's stupid "let's pair people together that barley interact so they can have a Gary Stu kid" pairings.

Well Mizura would know about how NaruHina is bad from a Hinata fans perspective since she is one. I try to take more of the stance that NaruHina would be bad from Naruto's perspective as I usually take the stance of SasuSaku being bad from Sakura's perspective.

Yea I've noticed that you and Mizura seem to tackle both sides of the NaruHina pairing, proving it's bad for both Naruto and Hinata. As for SasuSaku, you have to argue from Sakura's perspective, since Sasuke doesn't even have any real development with her. The only thing you can argue from Sasuke's perspective is that he might want Sakura to be his baby makin machine

I actually hadn't considered that by reviving his clan he just meant restoring their honor. It also seems he's lost most of his intrest in his clan anyway, which is probably why the Uchiha symbol on his Part II outfit is so small compared to his old outfit.

I made a comment about his clan symbol in another post. I think this is a good thing. If he was only interested in power, why would he care at all about his clan symbol?

Oh he still cares about his clan, I know that, otherwise he wouldn't be worried about revenge either. I was just pointing out that the symbol was significantly smaller, possible being symbolic that his revenge is more important than his clan.

I don't think I'm gonna join that forum. I really don't see the point in going to a forum for the sole purpose of debating.

I do! ^^ What can i say? I love to argue. I've joined 2 forums that needed Naru/Saku backing up. Granted it always gets overrun, but what the hell. Its all for good fun. Also I joined that one as well. ^^

I really don't thinks he's gonna backstab Oro anytime soon. He knows he's not strong enough to beat Itachi without Oro's help so there's no real point in the backstabbing. Of course, he might just find a way to keep his body when Oro tries to steal it, thus getting rid of Oro and giving him all of Oro's abilities.

For some fun asides, the only girlfriend Naruto will end up with will be Hinata. Sakura likes him, but as family and nothing else. Even if the Nibi, who seems to be way too old for Naruto, were game, the consequences of such a relationship would be profound. Hinata is the head daughter and heir to the Hyuuga clan, the most powerful and foremost clan in Konoha. Literally, she is like the princess of Konoha. Hinata might be shy and all, but I'm sure several people in her clan have already noticed her affection for Naruto (Neji for one). If Hinata even made a whimper in response to the relationship, the top brass would likely find ways to break it up and somehow steer Naruto to Hinata. Unfair...maybe, but life is life.

I totally agree on that; Sakura thinks of him as some sort of a dummy little brother/older brother, Ino isn´t even aware of the fact that he is male ( >_>´´), Tenten doesn´t know anything about him but his name (they met only once after the Chuunin Exams, during the Rescue Gaara-arc, and i don´t think they met a lot in their freetime), and the Catgirl really does look a bit too old for him.

Once again, the whole "Sakura sees Naruto as a brother"...which is pure speculation, and "Hinata is the princess of Konoha"? Then why is she treated like crap? Konohamaru isn't very talented either, yet he's treated like the prince. The princess of Konoha would be...Tsunade's daughter, if she had one.
But what does any of that have to do with Hinata getting together with Naruto anyway? :rolleyes: I don't know why some people think that Naruto & Sakura must hook up and have a kid with someone of a strong bloodline.

This is one of the worst arguments I've ever seen. Let's look at it from the beginning shall we. The first lines implies that besides "for some fun" Naruto can only end up with Hinata. They assume Naruto would sleep with random people "for some fun" which is about as ridiculous as Oro picking flowers well singing about how much he loves Jiraya. Then they use the "Sakura and Naruto are Like siblings" argument which ignores the fact that they aren't actually related so there's nothing to stop them from deciding to smex each other up. The assumption that Hinata is the "Princess of Konoha" is hilarious since the Hyuuga don't rule Konoha so she can't possibly have that title. Then they assume the "top brass" would give a damn about her desires to be with anyone. Finally they assume that if Naruto got into a relationship with anyone Hinata would complain about it (thus the "top brass" steering Naruto to her if she makes a whimper about Naruto's relationship) and that anybody could force Naruto into a relationship he doesn't want to be in. In conclusion, it's utterly ridiculous and what is it doing in a chapter 313 discussion anyway?

You can't prove Sakura thinks of him like that, I'm sure Ino knows he's male he's just not bishie enough for her tastes, Tenten and Catgirl I actually agree with. Oh but you forgot Temari who has a brother who is a Jinchuuriki and thus could understand him even better than Sakura, at least when it comes to the pain of being a Jinchuuriki (No I'm not shipping NaruTema, I'm just pointing out how ridiculous there argument is)

I should be doing Bar Review questions, but I cant let that one pass. That person makes way too many unproven assumptions. Agreed, that the clan treats her poorly. But let's assume that she is the "princess" of Konoha (as Random points out, also a suspect assumption). This person appears to assume either that the Hyuuga clan would try to procure whatever relationship she desired or that they approve of Naruto as a possible mate and, thus, are hellbent on making it happen, neither of which this debater can prove.

The siblings argument is the only one that really upsets me, because its really just an easy out of all of the recent development that's occured. In addition, its awfullly convenient Why is it that they must be siblings, but Sasuke and Sakura/Naruto and Hinata are in love? Why can't they be siblings? Especially in Part 1, its a similar setup. Sakura likes Sasuke, but the feelings don't appear to mutual. Naruto likes Sakura, but the feelings don't appear to be mutual. So why must the sibling possibility be limited to NaruSaku? The same for NaruHina. Moreover, this glosses over the fact there is no interest on Naruto's end. The clan argument appears to make this an irrelevant point; that even if Naruto does not prefer her, the Hyuuga elders will make it happen anyway. There is no reason to believe this is the case. I fully think the Hyuuga elders would interfere in her love life, but there is no reason to believe to it will be in the manner this person states.

How do they know what the Hyuuga Clan thinks. We don't know if they respect Naruto or they despise him, thinking him to be the fox in human form. The only two Hyuuga who openly respect him are Hinata, who faints at the sight of him, and Neji, who is a branch memeber that they probably won't listen to cuz of status

That is another point too. They obviously, since they are a royal clan, wish to keep the Hyuuga bloodline pure. Like I said above, we don't know what they think of Naruto. Suppose they believe he is the fox, then why would they want their bloodline tainted by the 'fox'? These people don't think. -__-;

Not that I see the princess argument particularly applicable no matter whom is framed in that role.

And I think that Konohamaru is talented. He was just young so he wasn't getting his techniques quite right. But he seemed to do OK with sexy no jutsu post-timeskip.

They make me cry. Hinata doesn't love him. And if she did, she wouldn't whine if she couldn't get Naruto. She would be happy for him, because thats what her character is like.
