Wait 'til they see UN's essay
I love it when so many people are on other pairings' side. It's because I can't wait to see their faces when Kishi *unexpectedly* made Sakura fall in love with Naruto. The pairing I hate the most is Sasu / Saku, and seeing that they had so many fangirls (hated fangirls, I guess) and fanboys made me hate it even more. I would love it if the pairing is completely destroyed by an incident like, say, Sasuke trying to kill Sakura.

IMO you're a great debater but sometimes you can't argue with ppl who can't respect your points of views first, when you notice this behaviour you just have to step out. Airichan likes to tell other people are wrong saying that they don't read the manga the way it is, just like she told me. What about her? she just pops S***S*** hints from thin air. For this reason and a few more, I step out of the debate thread since I couldn't take the insults, I will just do like Smiter-kun said and wait for Narusaku to pwns all pairings.
This comment proves that the only pairing fans who are truly rabid fangirls/boys are the S***S***er's. When I was in the debate thread I enjoyed to debate with N***H*** fans since they respected my points of view and atleast they pointed valid POV's.
So don't worry Aethos-kun, take a break and don't reply to those S***S*** mean comments, they'll just give up in insulting us if we ignore them.

Dont worry about it aethos...as far as calling you a hypocrite, whoever said that is one just for saying it. The whole point to a debate, no matter what the subject; is to basically say (no matter how pretty you make it sound) I'm right and your wrong. If whoever wrote that truly stood to what they are preaching they they would have kept their opinon of you to themselves. And as far as using the old "calling the keddle black" thing, and you flame the other peoples opinions, I didnt see anything that wasnt particularly "flamish" itself in that message. Also i'm not sure what the problem is with discussing your ideas with someone who agree's with you, not only does it not hurt anyone else but it doesnt, and shouldnt be up to the ridicule of someone else. He says you flame, I think that this is just being hypocritical in itself. Also whoever wrote this is taking it to an extent not only to insult you but everyone who agree's with you, something that frankly; pisses me off. call the kettle black if you will but maybe check to see if the other side is white first.

Airichan again, eh? Well, like everyone here has said, just ignore her.
Really, it's just a waste of time trying to debate with others who clearly do not know how to. Not even the best debater on the planet could even stand trying to exchange views with her.
So, we'll just sit back and see what the manga has.
As I created a NaruSaku wallpaper for myself using the manga panels, I was amazed to see just how many of them there were - and reading them all has me absolutely convinced that SOMETHING is going to happen.
And it sure as hell isn't SasuSaku.
As far as I'm concerned, that debate thread is just dead. It was fantastic for the first few pages, but it's just time to let it go. When we do get (and we WILL get them) more manga ammo, we'll just let the fanboys/girls choke on those pages while we enjoy reading them.
Nowhere Man put it wonderfully in an author note in his fic "The One I Still Loved". Sasuke's past is no excuse for him to behave like an ass. Just because you've been wronged does not give you the right to trample upon and hurt others.
Naruto's had an equally painful - if not worse - past, and look how he turned out. Do you see him trying to hurt the villagers? Do you see him even considering letting the fox loose? No, he tries to protect everyone.
I really don't see why many Sasuke fans are blind to the truth. There are some, such as Spectrum, who do see that he's becoming darker and more selfish - but there are still so many who think he's justified in his behaviour. Which is stupid.
Kishi could not have made it any clearer. Sasuke is darkness, the winter while Naruto is the light, the spring. Naruto tried to save him, but Sasuke CHOSE to cross the line and go over to the other side - forsaking his friends in the process.
Kishi also compares Sakura to a flower in parts of the manga. It's even in her name. In general, she blossoms and feels stronger around Naruto, while she wilts around Sasuke.
Now, think of this. Why do we love NaruSaku so much and hate SasuSaku? Because of how Kishi wrote them! Nothing to do with how "cute" they look (though Naruto and Sakura do look very cute together, hehe). It's all about how they make each other feel.
