So here is something I'm curious about.. how will Asta achieve his goal to become the sorcerer king?

Also we know It's gonna be a while for Asta x Noelle to become canon, but I gotta ask.. who will make th first move? Asta or Noelle? I get the feeling it'll be Noelle idk that's just me.

Well, we know that there are different types of Anti-Magic.  In Asta's case, he has a sword that can negate magic and another that can absorb and release it.  I'd say his path to becoming the Sorcerer King lies in mastering it, especially if he can find a way to retain the magical abilities that he absorbs via Demon Dweller.

 

As for Noelle and Asta, it depends. Noelle understands her feelings for him however she is in partial denial of it out of embarrassment while Asta is just beginning to exhibit his attraction towards Noelle (as of the festival), it's still eclipsed by his obsession with Lily at the moment.  Part of me wants to say that when Asta fully realizes his growing feelings towards Noelle, he'll make the first move because as we've seen, the kid has no chill when it comes to confessing his love for the girl he likes.

Good question. On the one hand, because of his anti-magic swords he can pretty much counter any other mage, so from a fighting standpoint he's set I think but there are other factors in play that he lacks in to become Sorcerer Emperor. How is he going to lead first of all, as I believe the Sorcerer is sort of like a military or police leader, and I'm sure there are politics involved. Also what would happen if he has to solve a problem that does not involve fighting mages? So many questions, and well truth be told those are the walls that any shonen manga author runs into when writing the MC as an "idiot hero" that wants to be a political leader of any kind.

 

As for Asta X Noelle, Well to be genuinely honest I feel it may be Noelle once she gets past her tsundere tendencies and insecurities, because let's be honest, In a shonen fighting series the guy almost never makes the first move in a "romantic relationship". But on the other hand Kagomaru has a point, Asta actually is pretty passionate about the girl he likes so he JUST MAY if he actually moves on to Noelle instead of Lily because honestly, it's logically not happening with Lily. Although I feel it kind of strange Asta is hitting on his mother figure too plus I think Asta will only get the message if Lily falls for someone else but that's also not likely as she is a nun.   Drat SOMETHING MUST BE DONE for Asta X Noelle. SOMETHING.

Luck is voiced by Ayumu Murase who voiced Shinichi Nagata from SAO and Yuuji Norita from Assassination Classroom

Vanessa is voiced by Nana Mizuki who you guessed it the "lovely"   Hinata  from Naruto and  Margaret Liones from Seven Deadly Sins 

 

Noelle is voiced by Kana Yuuki  kind of an unknown hasn't done much so curious how she's gonna o. 

 

Gauche is voiced by Satoshi Hino who voiced Sai in Naruto Shippuden and Momonga from Overlord  

 

Charmed is voiced by Kiyono Yasuno who voiced Banna Kavaro from Hunter x Hunter 

 

Gordan (Finally) voiced by Kenichiro Matsuda who voiced Batou from Ghost in The Shell (2015) 

 

 

 

 

So as far as voice actors go that's an interesting choice.. I am a little curious how Nana Mizuki is gonna handle Vanessa cause she is almost the complete opposite of what Hinata is.  Same thing with Noelle's voice actress since she is pretty much an unknown. Then again I'm pretty much looking forward to what the other voice actors have to offer too.

Oh great. They flattened Noelle............. what so do they like their tsunderes flat? It's just inconsistent design if you ask me and it seems to be a blatant bias against her. Knowing SP's track record I wouldn't put it past them

I pray it doesn't either, but going from Yuno said I think he even knows that there is something going between Asta and Noelle given the context of the scene which I'm not gonna lie is pretty amusing, and to me it does say that Asta and Noelle will end up together at some point.

 

 

I mean I said this before, but Asta x Noelle are kinda like NaruSaku reincarnated for me in a way I mean  just look at this:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I tried to find a better moment, but I think this the closest one i can find unless there is one I'm not I'm remembering that better  correlates to the scene with Asta and Noelle.

Also, I can't help but laugh at the whole Yuno/Noelle crowd being SS shippers. Those clowns were always so shallow to begin with, so it isn't a surprise

3. Noelle doesn't stifle her opinions and temperament around Yuno nor is she afraid to insult him, despite his status as a genius among their peers.  Hell, she fully engages in arguments with Asta on a daily basis and he's the guy she's actually crushing on.

 

4. Yuno actually shows respect towards her in spite of the fact that they don't get along, whereas Sasuke has *never* done so for Sakura throughout the entire course of the manga, whether they were comrades, enemies or even husband and wife.

 

But like AHK said, these are just a few SS shippers straining their demented brains to project a correlation between their couple and Yuno and Noelle's interaction that doesn't exist.

It kind of sucks that when it comes to Nana Mizuki everyone thinks her voice sounds like Hinata XD Seriously though, she's a great voice actress (and decent singer). I think she voiced Lin Fan from FMAB.

Have her keep her cup size and make Noelle worse of a tsundere than she actually is to push towards Asta X Mimosa more, while at the same time again the reduced Noelle's actual bust for....... WHAT REASON? I just want character designs to be consistent for the most part if it is SUPPOSED TO FOLLOW the source material

I doubt that they could pull that off given that Noelle has three things going for her that Sakura has struggled against:

 

1. Popularity.  NA and Japanese fan reception has been pretty positive towards her so far, with Noelle even given third place in the recent Japanese poll that was showcased in Chapter 120.

 

2. Lack of conflicting interests.  Unlike Sakura,  Noelle has no other lingering romantic interests; Asta is her primary prospect. So they don't have a convincing avenue to BS.

 

3. Her personal journey for strength and acknowledgement is being illustrated almost as prominently as Asta's, especially given how significant her family is to the story.  Additionally, the notable cruelty that her family heaps towards her may get the SP's NH faction's sympathy, given how they(and most NH fans) seem to perceive Hinata's family situation.

 

Because of those factors (among others that I won't list for now), they can't try to downplay and marginalize her in the anime like they've attempted to do with Sakura.  She's too popular and become too important.

Just be thankful Noelle does start off doing things. If started like Sakura, she would have been doomed.

I personally liked Naruto pre-timeskip more than Asta.

Asta is one of the most basic shounen protagonists I've ever followed.
