A theory. I thought it was said in the anime. But, why would they do a best friend for Serena ? Where did that theory come out from ?

Like you said its just a theory I mean you know now that Serena is popular now is the center attention in a good way, this should have happened with the last girl that was popular no Iris but Dawn.

Oh okay. But all the female characters are popular and anyone could go with Serena. They can do it in any way with any character.

because each new generation female companion has met the past one may has met misty dawn has met may iris has met dawn you see where im going with this? but we have yet to see serena meet iris but i know she will i think of it as a formula a formula they have yet to break templar74 has brought this up a few times in his poketalks

Serena is gonna travel with Ash to Alola, Lillie (Alola character), along with a "RETURNING CHARACTER"?

 

 

 

Official and Templar have stated to take the leak with a grain of salt, but I would be fine with it obviously. However, my mind is also wrapped around the returning character from this potential leak, and I wonder could it be Brock?

 

 

I mean like I said before if this leak is true then Ash will have two female traveling Companions, Serena, and Lillie.. I mean throwing in another female character from the past would make it seem like Ash has his own mini little harem for the Sun and Moon anime.... I'm actually laugh and cry if it turns out being Dawn that would be priceless I'd not only see Serena, but also my other favorite female character from the anime too.

oh she better otherwise im quitting the anime for good the most important thing sh needs to do though is find what satisfies her she mentioned how ash was satisfied with how he did the league  so now serena needs to find that something and i think she will find it very soon

Brock is least likely cause he wasn't gone for a long time. Last time he was when Dawn was travelling too. I said Brock  and not Dawn cause he got used to travel with Ash for a long period.

May and Max because they were absent for a while so it increases their chances.

Misty is more possible than others. Alola region has water type pokemons. Misty is pro water type trainer and leader of Cerulean Gym that battles others with water type pokemons. Plus, she always accompany for a short while after season 5.

Honestly I'm done with pairing wars after Naruto and Bleach, throwing Misty into the Sun and  Moon anime would just be a horrible reminder of that.

@Liu Bie: All of them have somewhat equal chances. But, from what I was told, if every female saw the last one before her then maybe Iris will be the one.
