What I think of when people honestly think Naruto wants to kill Sasuke:

People wouldn't stop complaining about Sakura's "unresolved feelings" towards Sasuke.

 

Then this chapter comes out and says she loved him, just like the databook, and then people complain about how Kishimoto shouldn't mention Sasuke at all.

 

Did I sound like that? Huh, well I guess I was upset. No I did not mean that Sakura should not mention Sasuke at all. I was upset that these issues are a problem because then Sakura admitting she loves Naruto at this point just comes off as an excuse. It looks like she is just forcing herself to love Naruto because she can't have Sasuke. It kind of gives off that impression even if it's not intentional, and I know it's not like that.

 

 What I mean is Sakura is still showing what she feels or used to feel for Sasuke, but in contrast her feelings and thoughts on Naruto have not been addressed yet. Even if it's just being used as a surprise for the finale or something like that it it's kind of unfair treatment on Kishimoto's part. It doesn't seem like Naruto's love for Sakura has made an impact on her after all this time cause she is just focusing on her feelings for Sasuke I suppose. I guess I just don't understand  why he is taking so long in having Sakura acknowledge she loves Naruto too or not. It's not right, especially if he is planning on making them a couple.

 

it's damaging cause it looks like he is making Naruto a secondary prize if he's just putting off confirming just what exactly she feels for Naruto until the end. I'm not bothered by her feelings for Sasuke, I'm bothered by the lack of acknowledgement of what she feels for Naruto at the present time. developing the character's relationship and having them become closer, pretend like it's nothing and then just hooking them up at the end is not very appealing to me I'll be honest. I'm rooting for NaruSaku still but I find that the lack of results just depressing and maddening.

 

The thing is I don't see the point of this love triangle, if it can be called that. Because typically Love triangles work in that there is a a character, the one he/she is meant to be with, and the one who is meant to be shot down for one reason or another. As we already know Kishi shows that SS is not being developed, nor is it positive. If that's the case then I don't even see why he wants NS to be a surprise. Now unless he wants to actually surprise NS shippers by actually hooking up SS in the end to which then kinda kills the reason he looks like he's pushing for NS. Either way this love triangle is just blowing itself apart, so I just want it resolved cause there was never any true love triangle in the first place, and for one reason or the other it just makes the writing look bad, even for the sake of drama.

 

If Sasuke was made out to be evil, Why keep bringing up Sakura loves him or did love him, if he is just insisting SS is not an option anymore and that She was meant to love Naruto in the first pace. And if he was pushing for SS in the first place then he is just portraying a very un-healthy and poorly thought out relationship that is based on physical attraction alone cause it is neither portraying emotional support or mutual understanding on any front which is kind of saying that looks are all that matter in the end. Especially since Sasuke was going to kill her without second thoughts and look what he did to her in today's chapter. See how bad it looks when you think of it like that?

MP used it in the past tense

 

MS kept emphasizing that she still wanted to be with Sasuke

 

Even MP Kakshi says that Sakura wanted Sasuke by her side.

why? Sakura is just a birch and Naruto is a silver medal. Hope he will be alone or with someone who deserves him (hinata).

This chapter I had mixed feelings about, I knew Sakura still felt something for Saucekay but I also knew he didnt like her at all, but with the ending coming up and the movie that could change and they could fall in love.

 

I at this point just wish Sai was there to tell everyone to shut up so they can resolve their feelings before the fight.

 

Sai would know what to do.

I don't know if I'm tempted to closed the thread for the moment. Because majority of you need to calm the f--- down.  And its getting ridiculous to the point I'm putting my foot down right now.

 

As for this chapter, grammar and bias strikes again. When the raws comes out, maybe I can say my views for the chapter. But for now, all I can say maybe this is Kishimoto's way to give Sakura some sort of a reality check.

I really thought he killed her but then Naruto said it was genjutsu I felt relieved.Tbh I think she will think everything that happened in her life.Maybe her real dreams.How she loved him,her love for Sasuke then her true feelings...Sakura has byakugou so he put her in a genjutsu to hurt her I guess.But it's really weird.

I'm surprised that a KO isn't an option. Could just bring an excuse of him being too fast that he knocked her out. So why genjutsu. Anyway, it felt like conclusion is approaching from 540 buildup. The only question is are we going to shift back and forth with the fight? It does make me wonder if this is going to be repeat on the result of the fight. Like will Naruto and Sasuke stay in one place or will only one stay like last time?
