Guys really, I think Sasuke cares about team7
He was in a hurry to go back down. Really, he saw the genjutsu on the moon, he realized the danger, and he went back down as quick as he can to protect Team7.
 
I think he doesn't want to lose, because he wants his brother's dream to be real, but still, deep inside, he cares about team7. I'm sure.
 
The genjutsu works with the LIGHT.
Sasuke protected them with Susanoo. The light doesn't go through it.
 
I wonder if Bee is caught or not. Because of the sunglasses... but the light does go through sunglasses, even if it's shaded... no I guess he has been caught too. Madara said that this light will pierce through every shadow. The only thing that creates a shield is Susanoo apparently. It also looks like that it's from Sasuke's Rinnegan.
 
This prove that Sasuke didn't want to cut throught Sakura last chapter, we were wrong about that like some of us said a few time after reading.
I think he aimed UNDER her. He never intended to cut through her. He looked cold, but he's not *that* cold.
It's obvious he cares about Naruto, he doesn't want him to go out of Susanoo, his gestures show his concern IMO.
 
Also, I don't know what he meant with his "wait for the tree". I guess we will discover this next chapter. The wait will be really hard... thing are becoming interesting. I think team7 will come to a good plan to end Tsukuyomi. They don't have Shikamaru anymore to think about it, so Sakura will have a good place to put some intelligent think IMO.
They are all alone with edo tensei's.
 
I want to see teamwork.

As much as I loved Sasuke this chapter, but unfortunately he just intended to protect Naruto. Since Kakashi and Sakura were beside him, they got protected. I dunno if he protected Naruto because they were the only ones who can defeat Madara or for he really cares about Naruto. For me, its former one but the latter can contribute something since he really is affected by Naruto

I would love a great team 7 teamwork moment to fix this, but his handling of Sakura leads to to believe that even if they do this, it's going to be mostly Naruto and Sasuke. If he's going to sideline her then he might as well put her under the jutsu.

Yes he will, after naruto beat some sense to him in naruto vs sasuke.

It's the jutsu he use in part one when orochimaru vs third hokage.

It's becoming more and more clear to me.

 

They are his precious nakama, and they will always be.

 

I think that's what Kishi will tell us at some time.

 

It's true he became really low, trying to kill Sakura, but IMO he was not himself at that time. He is highly weak when it comes to mind. Sasuke is a blank page as Itachi said.

 

I think he always cared but he was blinded by his goals/obsessions.

 

ALSO I think I understand what is going on.

 

These are not branch, these are roots.

I don't think these were created right now from Yamato. I think these are the god tree roots.

 

Since Sasuke said, wait for the tree, maybe it means that ANOTHER TREE will grow out, using the life force of every trapped ninja. I think another tree will grow from the roots of the former one that has been cut out and absorbed by Madara.

Anyways, I was thinking that were the panels dedicated to Shikamaru, Gaara, or Tsunade, then no one would have made a big fuss about it. But thinking it again, the only person that could fill that panel is Hinata and her only.

Shikamaru: Until his very last moments he would try to find a way to get rid of this jutsu.
Tsunade: She's a Kage, she'll think for the people around her that were caught in the branch trying to rescue them,
Gaara: Same as above.
Other rookies: Think of their other teammates that got caught before they get caught in it as well.

It would be OOC for any other character to think of Naruto in their last moments, who was not in the battlefield and nearly dead(as far as their memories go) over their own teammates. (Can you imagine Ino thinking of Naruto instead of Shikamaru and Choji?) Hinata is the only exception. Therefore she was used in that stereotypical moment where someone thinks of a certain character during the time of crisis, and at the same time the said character is shown to have an intuition that something is wrong coincidentally (in Naruto's case, he has Sage mode so it's most likely not intuition) It's used again and again in movies and stories, and Hinata's place could've been easily replaceable for the same dramatic effect (if the other characters life iwas revolved around Naruto.)

In other words: Hinata was the most convenient character.

If I understand it right the light emit by the moon caught you in the genjutsu. And somehow it's more like the sun. you see the light, it's over.

 

Explanation of why Sasuke's Susano'o protect them is that it protect them completly from the light (Ironically it's Sasuke Darkness that protect them.)

 

Key word here is you need to see the light.

 

Bee wore sunglasses all the time, so he might be blind (don't see the light) so that might be an explanation he is immune.

To even the play field, remember that Genjutsu from the 2nd Hokage in part 1, Genjutsu : Infinite darkness.  That could be another way to get team 7 immune while be able to move instead of the inside of Susano'o.

 

Imagine if the 2nd teach the technique to Idk, a genjutsu type ninja (one that be hard to kill ) .

That theory has been going on in 2ch from a long time ago. Not the adopted part but Sakura is a senjutsu part.

I even think that he always rejected Sakura for Naruto. Not that he was interested romantically in her anytime in manga, but since Naruto was the most important bond to him(stated by himself) and Naruto liked Sakura, he always rejected her. Only for Naruto. But sadlya that's not what the manga conveys.

It is replaceable and that's why I think he purposely meant to tweak the fandom. Hell, change the order and the implication is different.

Well her father has the same hair colour with madara and hagoromo.
Narusasu celling is higher than sakura. Sakura max level is 100, while narusasu 200 and madara 300. Sakura is just a human.

Right now he doesn't care. Only naruto because he's the only one who allow to kill him. After narusasu battle, sasuke will care, respect, and smile to the others teammate.
