Didn't Minato gave the best corniest pick up line to Kushina when he rescued her?
Well, he did save her like a knight ,complimented her ravishing hair and she fell for him , so i don't think it was corny.

I'll say a little not that much. The difference is that Rin is everything she cared about. Think about it. Kakashi was promised to take care of her. If she lived but Kakashi died, he would be sad that she is alive and promise was kept. Also, they both promised to see Obito to become Hokage and end the war. So there's more effect with them than anything else.do u guys think if obito will go berserk if bakakashi died instead of rin?

Plus, Minato is a dork for thinking something cool. Not saying his line isn't bad, because it's straightforward and effective, but I would be he would think he's cool sounding.Well, he did save her like a knight ,complimented her ravishing hair and she fell for him , so i don't think it was corny.

Runs in the family, I guess that is something Naruto got from his dad. They both thought of the best pickup lines ever, and somehow the girl who received such a line ended up falling for them...Ironically Naruto was disguised as Sasuke, but it was for the best...If Sakura at that time would have received such a pickup line from Naruto...I don't think she would have taken it well.

I can't help but think she laughs at him for thinking too high and mighty for being Hokage in the academy days.I wonder if any of his goofy names made Kushina disliked him at first besides not looking impressive to her at first.

Well she did say that she found him to be laughable or something around there as in not believing him. So I wouldn't be surprised.Yeah I can see that plus that would parallel with Sakura's thoughts of Naruto being Hokage at first as well.

Back to chapter discussion.
Now, Naruto tnj's Obito...but I doubt that Sakura/Rin parallel will be implied or be pointed at, rather Kishi would probably expect us to realize that Rin parallels Sakura, as Naruto parallels Obito, Although I wouldn't mind seeing that in ink...I don't think is necessary at this moment.

To me, I think it can be pointed out in a third-party way. I noticed that Naruto or any new generation don't really say it out loud that they have something similar in people. It might not be necessary for story wise, but for future reference, it can be valid.

Well then, he failed. Look how many people try to parallel Rin to Hinata...

The same people who tried to parallel Kushina to Hinata.

Yeah, that's why I'm saying better to stop before disappointment rate goes over the limit. I think the more it's pushed, the more Kishi might just straight out confirms it. I didn't think Kushina would get paralleled but here you go. Now, don't push further before Rin may actually get a direct parallel.
The same people who tried to parallel Kushina to Hinata.

Logically, it should be confirm since every parallel were confirmed in one way or in another, even if it's just noting the similarity:
-Jiraya/Naruto
-Tsunade/Sakura
-Orochimaru/Sasuke
-Minato/Naruto
-Kushina/Sakura
-Hashirama/Naruto
-Madara/Sasuke
-Kakashi/Sasuke
-Obito/Naruto
-Rin/ ???
There is just the Rin parallel left. And we know who is Rin parallel, so if we follow the same logic, it should be implied that Rin is parallel to Sakura.

Yes, well, it's not an author's fault when readers choose to indulge in selective or subjective reading comprehension. If fans have their preferred ship goggles firmly in place and then proceed to parse the story looking for meaning and connections to support their expectations, while at the same time filtering out any characterization or plot development that doesn't, there's not much a writer can do. Just as JK Rowling.
Parallels invite comparisons and speculations. I mean, that's the point of using them, right? But if a reader refuses to view the parallels as part of the greater story context and interpret their meaning accordingly, well... yeah.

Don't worry, I know, it was ironic. But it seems like I didn't show it well enough sorry.
