Yes, but then we could agree Kishi friendzoned Hinata? It was like he was saying "No NH for you!". But I don't think Naruto was thinking of Hinata when answering the gf question.

Are you insinuating that NH is alive even from 631? Make no mistake, 631 was a fatal blow. If a reviewer said something about it like "poop all over NH" then you know it's major.

Funny but I have a feeling that it would've been Hashirama who created Talk no Jutsu.

tobirama: i invented that too...

By definition:

In popular culture, the "friend zone" refers to a platonic relationship wherein one person wishes to enter into a romantic or sexual relationship, while the other does not.

Still, again I have to ask, why are NH moments taken so seriously, but NS moment kind of get blown off or even moments that imply something is one way get blown off? As I said two podcast ago, why do we blow off possible NS moments so much? The fact that Sakura thinks only of Naruto kind of signifies something, right? Yet, I know that if she thinks about Sasuke in anyway (a la 540) we get people that freak out over it saying "She still loves Sasuke." I don't understand.

It feels like even if we get a NS moment, we NS blow it off ourselves thinking it is "No big deal." Is it because we want to remain humble?

I read the definition when I posted, but I don't think there is a spesific chapter where Hinata was put in the friendzone by Naruto.

We want to remain humble? Maybe. Many sites call out on us. "NS says this and that, it is laughable", yet this is not considered bashing because NS fans are referred to as an object, as "it". "It thinks this and that", lol doesn't make any difference. Maybe some people want to remain humble because of that or that we don't have many voices? Not sure, but personally I love that Kishi emphasizes on Sakura's care for Naruto. When commenting on that on neutral forums, people say that everybody cares for Naruto(of course they do-_-), but so far we have only seen Sakura's compassion. 630 outlines her even more and her role in his life is proven to be significant, she is an exception. I think it's sweet and a plus for me as a shipper, but is there much to discuss? Is there a foreshadowing? I'm personally waiting for her to take action. I like that she is thinking of Naruto's wellbeing, but I want her to do something, help him out there. I'm waiting..

I personally think that you will see all that you said in that post from Sakura as soon as the focus shifts to team 7 instead of the war. That is when the true difference from part 1 to now will be shown and it will also be the time when Sakura can fully show how much she cares for Naruto by taking some action and doing something about how she feels. It's just a matter of the waiting game now.

LoL, okay so a lot of people think she was officially friendzoned in 631. Alright, fair enough.

I guess that why I am just pointing this out is because I feel that if people still think NH has a chance after this chapter, which basically points out the obvious for a third time, then I think they are officially delusional. Yeah, it is kind of bashing to say, but really it is like Sasuke and Sakura. How many times must he say "no" before people take a hint? To me this is like strike three against NH that just proves it is not going to happen. Despite 615, despite the confession and everything else, Naruto still sees Hinata as a friend. People can still be a fan of NH and I don't mind them still being one, but if I feel that if any still think it can happen at this point...well, they are going to be very disappointed.

As I said, I was once a Tohru x Yuki fan. Although the couple isn't canon, I still think they would make the better couple, but I still understand that officially it is not going to happen.

Yeah, I would say this chapter definitely sealed the deal on the pairing. Any door for NH feels officially closed at this point, if it wasn't before now.

i'll just put my two cents here.

In fact i believe the problem with NS is that kishi constantly shows the same thing over and over again, like Sakura worrying too much for Naruto or she wanting to help Naruto.(which is show the entire part 2)

Personally i want progress, so for me i see those scenes as mere fanservice, i know it's fun and it's nice to see but i wish something different that shows progression.
The entire arc, Hinata thinking about Naruto, yep it was repetitive but it was development?
Nope but then comes 615 which is a progression not romantic wise but a progression to her character.

The last real progression was the summit but yet it demanded an NS conversation, we didnt get it in fact we just got Sakura panels of her either worrying for Naruto or wanting to help him(Path to Radiance)

The only part where it was different was when she stepped him and sought his acknowledgement(which is a progression) which changed Naruto's mindset about Sakura(Sakura you should get some rest)and the next is her worrying about Naruto once again, obviously she should worry.

In fact i'm just pointing out that not every NS moment is a progression in their relationship, it's just that the pairing triangle must be resolved and we dont have any hint that she now loves Naruto or still loves Sasuke, this is yet to be adressed until then it's just fanservice, until Kishi shows where NS stands now.

Yeah, I would say this chapter definitely sealed the deal on the pairing. Any door for NH feels officially closed at this point, if it wasn't before now.

Agree, Dat Kushina parallel literally .... up any chances of NH becoming canon.

Yeah. People may call it bashing, but I call it a revelation. You can't keep denying the facts when the manga says your wrong. Otherwise, you really will be seen as a true biased person. Like many feel as I do, I am an NS because the manga development supported it and because I like Sakura's character.

lol. Yeah. I also went WTF when reading Yuki's revelation. To me it felt like a cop-out to explain why they couldn't be together as a couple, but eh what can I do? I would prefer it went unrequited forever than that kind of story telling.

Oh, they never got together?! And I've seen many people support that pairing in AMVs and such.

Actually friend zone in my conception is that "place" when you consider someone too much of a friend to ever think about having anything romantic with them.

Naruto, despite Hinata's attempts to demonstrate she loves him, has never considered anything with her besides friendship. So yeah, it is fair to assume she is in the friend zone, just like Ino, Kiba, Shikamaru and you get the point...

How did the term even come into existence?  I've seen love comedies talk about how a person pursuing a realtionship should avoid the "friendzone", because once you're in, you'll never get out kind of reasoning.  The term like any other gets abused and taken out of context.  I'm sure we've all seen this (the first five seconds):  http://www.whalethen.com/item/1095.  People have even made a gif out of it.

I like to believe the NS fandom in general know it's just a manga and don't take it too seriously.  It's one of the reasons I'm proud to be a part of it.

Maybe, but that would mean that's their last shot, as in watch out for anything now. That and war is no doubt drawing near. I don't know Naruto can help them to gain back the chakra. I will bet that K9 lost it too but it was worth doing so just to push.

Oh yeah chapter 650 they both released their seals to summon Katsuya, why did they restore their seals in chapter 651?

Because it's only needed to summon it. Unlocking it fully will mean like star power, where you are in super mode if you will, but you have a time limit depending on how much it has. So yeah, not need to unlock it all the way when you only using the one you normally have.

It was probably just an artistic oversight by Kishi, notice that the area surrounding Sakura isn't filled in with any sort of texture (the chakra shroud would have occupied that empty space). That oddity would fall under a similar category of errors as Minato and Raikage miraculously regrowing their arms in one panel and then losing them in the next. If she lost it due to chakra deprivation when summoning Katsuyu then why release the seal in order to access its contents? Unless, for whatever reason, her chakra provision was greater than Tsunade's.

Katsuyu can't be totally dependent on the seal to maintain herself if the events in the Invasion of Pain arc are any indication.

The God Tree can be cut down by simple ninjutsu right? Or do you need Naruto's bijuu shield to have the power to cut it down?

What is stopping Onoki to destroy the God Tree from the air? If he's high enough, his Genkai Hakuri No Jutsu can swallow and destroy the God Tree.

If not, what about Katsuyu? Normal Katsuyu can spit acid that is enough to melt a huge rock as big as Manda (Regarding the Sannin Battle). Can't the 1/10 Katsuyu spit acid huge enough to melt the God Tree?

I have to ask, how many think this actually officially declares "Naruto friendzones Hinata?"

NH's not exactly sunk, but they definitely got hit with a torpedo. I'd say they're on their last leg. The only thing that remains is the knockout punch to finish this pairing war.

To be honest, it seems like unbreakable or at least takes a lot of power to do so. I don't think it's that simple because it would seem that it's powered by insane amount of chakra storage which is like life reserve. Otherwise, Madara would be worried but he seems very confidence and just wait for Obito to let his guard down, which is the best time IF it's ready to set off. I noticed that whenever Madara doesn't seem phased, he knows that it's either impossible or just made to be. He was really confidence that no one can kill Juubi and he was right. Now, well he's just waiting for time to pass to make his big move.

Sorry, I phrased it wrong. I wanted to know if the God Tree could be cut down with non-Sage, non-Juubi Chakra. I saw Hiruzen, Orochimaru, Sasuke cut down the trees.

So I was thinking maybe Onoki's Jinton could possibly work as well.

Thanks!

It really makes me wonder why Onoki is not using his "Genkai Hakuri No Jutsu" to destroy it. Especially now that Obito is focused on Naruto/Sasuke Combo and Hashirama is there to stop Madara.....
