By definition:
In popular culture, the "friend zone" refers to a platonic relationship wherein one person wishes to enter into a romantic or sexual relationship, while the other does not.
Still, again I have to ask, why are NH moments taken so seriously, but NS moment kind of get blown off or even moments that imply something is one way get blown off? As I said two podcast ago, why do we blow off possible NS moments so much? The fact that Sakura thinks only of Naruto kind of signifies something, right? Yet, I know that if she thinks about Sasuke in anyway (a la 540) we get people that freak out over it saying "She still loves Sasuke." I don't understand.
It feels like even if we get a NS moment, we NS blow it off ourselves thinking it is "No big deal." Is it because we want to remain humble?
i'll just put my two cents here.
In fact i believe the problem with NS is that kishi constantly shows the same thing over and over again, like Sakura worrying too much for Naruto or she wanting to help Naruto.(which is show the entire part 2)
Personally i want progress, so for me i see those scenes as mere fanservice, i know it's fun and it's nice to see but i wish something different that shows progression.
The entire arc, Hinata thinking about Naruto, yep it was repetitive but it was development?
Nope but then comes 615 which is a progression not romantic wise but a progression to her character.
The last real progression was the summit but yet it demanded an NS conversation, we didnt get it in fact we just got Sakura panels of her either worrying for Naruto or wanting to help him(Path to Radiance)
The only part where it was different was when she stepped him and sought his acknowledgement(which is a progression) which changed Naruto's mindset about Sakura(Sakura you should get some rest)and the next is her worrying about Naruto once again, obviously she should worry.
In fact i'm just pointing out that not every NS moment is a progression in their relationship, it's just that the pairing triangle must be resolved and we dont have any hint that she now loves Naruto or still loves Sasuke, this is yet to be adressed until then it's just fanservice, until Kishi shows where NS stands now.
Yeah, I would say this chapter definitely sealed the deal on the pairing. Any door for NH feels officially closed at this point, if it wasn't before now.
Agree, Dat Kushina parallel literally .... up any chances of NH becoming canon.
