Wait a minute? I could have sworn this was last week one. I mean 2 weeks ago. That's strange. Eh, I will just follow it. Didn't we had something about Orochimaru and Sasuke, only it never happened?

 

You know, I would like Madara to interfere, but maybe it's too soon. I'll give 3-4 more chapters.

Well they have been giving more info on Uzumaki lately, but still remain a mystery for now. We know that they have seals that are very top tier as well as chakra being incredible. So we have been giving more here and there, so it's only matter of time on their extinction. Uchiha seems to hit their peak with brain problems information. Senju seems the same as well. Uzumaki is left to expand. Let's wait and see.

 

As far as I can remember Kushina saying in one of the translations in the chapter where she met Naruto, the Uzumaki methods of sealing were very barbaric. I wonder in what context...Barbaric in the terms of ancient, or barbaric in the terms of brutal. Maybe there was a reason to fear this clan. I mean you would think that the major superpower at the time. [Fire Nation] would come to their allies aid.

 

 

About Karin, I still think she will betray Sasuke at the end. I believe Kishi is trying to fool us, with her personality. Unless of course he is truly what people are saying...sexist. But I will hold back my judgement.

Looking back over some of the colour pages from previous chapters, I noticed that Katsuyu was coloured differently than how she was portrayed in volume #66. 
 


The left panel was from #442 so it wasn't too long ago. Do you suppose Kishi just decided to recolour Katsuyu again? I can't think of a reason for why a visual detail like that one would be overlooked unless he simply forgot about the page.

Does Katsuyu somehow change colours depending on her size? Would it mean that this 10% slug would look different? I can't think of any explanations for this.

Kishi just isn't super consistent when it comes to colours. That's all it is, I believe.

Well Gamakichi is colored differently too, notice in the left image he's a light orange while in the left he is red.

As embarrassing as her characterization has been, it's hard to see how this can be done without just butchering the whole thing further. The biggest issue at this point is it flies in the face with what Kishimoto has done since then. At least one the incidents of her lusting over Sasuke was internal. How can your theory be accomplished? The only way would be a change in opinion, but it'll hard to swallow something like that when one of his most cold-blooded acts didn't do the trick. The Madara/Hashirama conflict is the blue print for what Sasuke is going to do. At best, I guess Team Not Seven sides with Naruto's ideal, but really, I'm not expecting that given they're steadfast loyalty (no matter how paper thin the reasoning behind it) to this point. And even if they do, that's not a betrayal in the true sense and no amount of acting is necessary to accomplish this.

I also don't recall Kishimoto being the type to use comedy as a subterfuge for something else. Just because it's comedy, doesn't mean it has no other meaning, but when has he employed to hide more sinister motives? I can't think of anytime where he has done that.

I think it's more of an indication of how he sees her character and that outstanding issue: unimportant.

Would his characterization of "Tobi" count? His behavior while paired with Deidara was played for humor while technically hiding sinister motives. It's the only possibility that came to mind.

It's nothing important, it's just that in one picture, the shade is lighter while in the other one is darker.

Same with Gamakichi.

No, what's being pointed out is that the katsuyu in sakura pictures has three blue stripes while the katsuyu standing next to gamakichi only has one stripe on top of its body. It's really inconsistent but kishi doesn't pay much attention to that stuff.

You know, I really think it will hit, or madara will take this as his chance to stop obito and control the jutsu. If it hits, it would even make it easier for madara to take his chance and step in and do something. I don't know why but I feel obito is really not the final villain, he appears to be breaking from what kakashi explained. All he needs is an answer from naruto so he stops. Naruto might even tnj him so he helps the alliance after the madara take-over.

That sounds like a lot of work though. It's still possible but it feels like we're going to chapter 10 with this path. In fact, I think Madara only plans to do the genjutsu, not fight him. Fighting him would be a bad idea, unless he co-op with others. Obito was claimed to be stronger than Hashirama and to top it all that, he can kill an edo. That's why Madara is waiting for the time of using genjutsu because all he needs to do knock Obito for a while and bam, the whole world is his.

 

But you could be right. I'm skeptical because Kakashi is not there to see it, so I think Obito might stay longer. Some say the plan may actually go through but it will be short lived as Obito is practically progressing on being the victim of TnJ. We'll see soon. Personally, while by now it should be impossible thanks to me for saying it out loud, I want the attack to hit but not work due to something (choose your scenario), and while the time is near, Obito will just start killing everyone as Naruto is down, which is bad because he wields senjutsu as Sasuke needs Juugo but if one is down, then uh oh. I guess what I want is one final struggle before the final victory finally achieved. Last thing I need is:

 

Naruto: Yatta! It was easy than I thought! What a happy volume! Give me five! Up high! Down low! *Slaps Sasuke* Too slow!

It's a hit, but Obito is somewhat injured and not defeated, or missed. The two reasons I said both cause they're equally possible and TnJ will be before Obito is defeated, and Obito can't be hit and defeated now.

I would absolutely love to see that, but I'm not sure how much hope I have in it happening.  We'll see.

I'm really hoping that their attacks will start doing some damage. It's getting ridiculous, attack; fail; attack; fail, I just really what to see some progress made in this fight, because the longer it goes on the more interest I lose. At least just start the Tsukuyomi already Kishimoto!

Well, they are dealing with a god, though one did connect back when Naruto did Sage Mode first time. I do think the attack could damage him but not enough. At this rate, defeating him seems "impossible". Pretty much, it feels like he got to make him submit to win the war. Though Kishi could pull a Fairy Tail with Naruto having one "once in a lifetime" power up against Obito that they will become evenly matched. In Fairy Tail, Natsu ate something from the government and granted him a huge power-up to match one villain who was like too powerful at the time, so it granted him to be equally matched. Obito is too strong to the point that I think even in the final fight with Naruto vs. Sasuke, they won't match to Obito. After all, they did somewhat foreshadowed Bijuus being with Naruto, so we'll see.

 

You know, part of me wants them knocked down, only for Naruto to continue to fight as Sasuke is like, "Dammit, I got to get up." I mean we were in line of Sasuke being upset at Naruto, so why not continue after the next attack. That's just me but I think it will leave a strong impression on Sasuke really being upset at Naruto. Just think of Gaara's fight and you'll know what I mean.

From my standpoint, I can see obito breaking very soon. We know that he is the strongest but we know he is vulnerable now thanks to kakashi. This is why I can actually imagine him breaking or giving naruto a window to answer to obito's doubts. However, madara will then use that as his window and opportunity to get that genjutsu world that he wants. Kakashi could very well be there to see obito's breakdown to tnj so I'm not worried about that. I definitely think the attack will hit, that's just my take on it, but I don't think the effects will be very physical from now on. This attack will not stop obito, but it will make it into more of a mental game than a physical one. It's not the final attack for sure.
