I am just wondering...what happens if the flower blossoms without someone casting the genjutsu?

Yeah, Sasuke's a really uninteresting character. I liked him a lot better when he was crazy.

It is interesting when he goes from calm sasuke mode to im going to rip off your head and tear your body to shreds sasuke mode

and im all like

 freaked out

An okay chapter, but not really what I would consider worth a week long wait. I don't think it was really 'praise' Sasuke was getting, more like foreshadowing, there was a lot of Naruto/Sasuke and Hashirama/Madara paralleling going on here. Not anything new unfortunately. And I'm a bit disappointed there was no Sakura,  but I'm patient.

 

Also did not appreciate the joke made out of Karin's stabbing, even if it is Suigetsu.

 

Hashirama was really the highlight of the chapter, he's a very endearing character. I just hope this doesn't signify that he's going to be the focus of the entire volume.

Yeah, I know better than to expect Sakura to appear in every chapter, but I absolutely adore her character, always have, so I can't help being a little disappointed when she doesn't show up.

Yeah, I have to agree. When she releases her seal, I want it to be for something BIG. Not that saving Shikamaru isn't important, I don't want to see him die, but I think she can find another way to save him.

coz i really cannot see her unleashing her seal for something else

maybe for the slug sage mode ( i'm hoping for this very much, but its a very small chance )

maybe when naruto's dying ( hoping for this too, but naruto recovered from the god tree himself.. )

i was confused that she didnt use it against the juubi clones when she finally formed it

and didnt use it to heal the alliance guys either,

obito seems too godly for her, and sage mode naruto / sasuke are on the job

plus like i said in my past post, i believe neji was brought down to make hinata relevant,

and i think shika will serve the same purpose as neji's to make sakura relevant.

What if Sakura is fighting Sasuke and Naruto is busy with Obito right when we get our parallel.

Why would Sakura and Sasuke be fighting before they defeat Obito? Sasuke has already stated that he does not intend on letting Obito and/or Madara succeed.

I don't feel like we know what is up with Sasuke yet to be honest. There should still be some bad blood there between him and Sakura and Naruto but it seems to have (magically) vanished since attempted murder on the love of your life is not a big deal in this story but I digress...

 

Obito, Madara and Sasuke are ALL Uchiha. That isn't a coincidence. I'm not sure what it means yet but we'll see.

Actually is nothing like that, if the genjutsu is cast everything will be turn into nothing, including his memory of itachi, it's like their sacrifices and everything Sasuke went though would be nothing, it was nothing to do with Itachi loving the world or not since he wants to destroy konoha and kill Naruto.

I haven't read this chapter yet. But by the looks of it, it was most probably a boring chapter. 

 

I don't know if I find these recent chapters boring because of the lack of Sakura appearance or Kishi's sloppy writing. 

I'll just come back when Sakura-chan is back.

The chapter was more of 647.5, meaning it continues where it left from 647, not moving forward because well, we need motivation. So yeah, it's more inspiration. Hopefully, next one is where the action begins.
