OMG, people are still insisting that it's Sakura's fault that the guys from the Alliance died because they had Katsuyu attached on them? WTF?! Katsuyu explained it very clear that the reason she cannot remote heal is because the parts attached got drained and died like the alliance. How can people even imagine that? I would've expected it to be discussed in some other forums where they hate Sakura, but here?

 

Even if by any chance Sakura loses her life (which they so hard are wishing away for at Kishi, that's their revery .. ) they are still gonna blame her for acts she hasn't commuted or insert thoughts/deeds in her characters. Sometimes i just wish people would loosen up , she is like the punching bag of the NF ...

Sorry for being random here guys   but remember back when we weren't sure if Sakura was younger than Naruto or not. Looks like wikia just confirmed that she is in fact older than him by a few months.

Naruto is the only one left in Team 7 who's still 16 (as of now).

About Naruto not having Sakura-centric regrets....

 

I tend to think it's along the lines of the audience not seeing Naruto not tell his mother about Sakura, when he's listing off the things in his life. He blatantly omits love. 

 

I don't think he doesn't tell her. I think we are not shown him telling her. Because, of course, it would be game over for shipping if he did. But it is terribly out of place for him to list out the things that are important in his life, and not give a clue as to who he hopes to spend his future with. 

 

Maybe this is outlandish, but I'm expecting when the final NS reveal happens that we get a series of flashbacks establishing that Naruto's love for Sakura never failed. And that a scene explaining it to his mom could be included.

 

I see this regrets scenario as the same thing. It doesn't make sense for Naruto, who wears every emotion on his sleeve, to skip over his feelings/regrets about love — be it about Sakura or anyone else. But of course, game over if he admitted it here. Any admission of love for one girl would have an immediate impact on the other(s) since everyone's getting a front-row seat to his head movies.

 

So I tend to think that this may be something that gets swept up in flashbacks in the end...or possibly doesn't get covered at all. It just becomes an omission that, while out of place, the readers have to accept in the name of shipping suspense.

does anybody know why madara is helping hashi now..? i didn't quite understand the scene he said he'll use hashi's sennin powers to stop obito... but obito's just doing what madara told him to do (he's a good boy ) or is it just that madara wants to be the one controlling people?

Actually that's not how i think, i believe this romance and stuff is meant to be shared by two persons, what's the point of him showing his love for Sakura to everyone including his enemies (orochimaru, Sasuke and etc...) it makes no sense would only put her in danger and would have problems with drama and stuff.

 

Also those were moments that passed and Naruto missed the oportunity, the reason is that all those moments were his regrets, he regreted to reach Sasuke before, not being able to save his teacher and reminded about the sacrifice of the others, Sakura could not be included here because he has yet to perform it, Sakura is still alive so how could he regret something concerned about her if he still has the oportunity to do it.

To make Sakura look better.

I'm thoroughly convinced that Kishi is either unwilling or unable to write Sakura out of her crush on Sasuke through her own means. She'll come out of it due to Naruto's love. Therefor, in the meantime, we have this trainwreck named Karin subbing in and looking 10x worse than Ino or Sakura ever did to make his heroines look better by comparison. You'll notice during the times Sakura gets limelight, Karin tends to get REALLY BAD at the fangirl crap. They normally appear together in the manga but in separate locals.

Also this kind of writing is sexist as hell but who cares anymore.

It would reflect badly on him in so many ways if true, but I'm not so sure because it really doesn't make them look better. It just makes Karin look awful.

I think his biggest mishandling of Sakura is that she completely lost her role outside the romantic subplot. Outside of that she hasn't mattered. Is she really distinctly different from the non-Shikamaru rookie nine at this point? Outside of her pairing, the answers appear to be no.

I understand that the main conflict is ultimately Naruto and Sasuke, but even as that took form Kishimoto has always found away to keep Kakashi involved in the conflict. Even his own conflict with Obito has elements of what Sasuke and Naruto will look like (and overcome), Sakura has largely lost hers except as the romantic foil.

It's nice to see power-ups and the like, but I feel the extensive amounts of time spent on that misses the forest for the trees. Yeah, I want to see power-up and see her excel in combat, but I also want plot involvment and character development, especially in areas that are outside the pairing department. Even the chapter where she showed off her skills, she did it for one chapter fell the side and that's it....

It's nice to see but so unsatisfying that this is all we get.

Even if it was, I don't see it as an issue. I think Atheck makes a decent case, but I'm not personally convinced and I admit I don't really care which route Kishimoto goes. Sakura's ability is not something in need of drawback, but it seems to be an interesting one to play with if he wants to go that way, it's just it seems late in the game to do it now, unless he's setting Sakura for personal development as consequence.

The question is: If you harm Katsuaya in the process of healing somene does it harm both parties? Kishimoto doesn't say (and I don't think he ever will). Katsuaya statement doesn't do anything to dispell this. It could easily be applied either direction. If the answer is yes, then it can be argued having the slugs expidited their death? Of course, you can ask would it work in the other direction? Would harming the ninja harm the slug? Who dies first and would they have died anyway are also questions, but because they are mooks I doubt we'll ever know.

Either way, the tree was an unknowable variable and her actions to that point were rational, Sakura doesn't deserve any condemnation for it (and I don't see anyone doing that), but I can see her blaming herself (if that's what happened) anyway.

I don't get why it's so awful to ask. It's not as if she the only one being criticized. Plenty of time has been spent n Naruto's mopey behavior and his constant need for pick-me-ups.

He's not helping. He said he plans to take Obito's place. As to why he tells Hashirama this....I suspect it's really meant to inform the audience of what Madara is doing. Although when he does it, we'll know anyway, so it's a bit odd.

I think Obito believes he has it won and it's not worried about Madara. He has what he wanted and I think he believes he can deal with him if need. I also believe Madara is content in letting him think that, so he can screw Obito at the last moment. I wonder if Madara always expected this from Obito?

About the regrets list, I don't know if there's anything else that is shown or even Naruto continuing to communicate them without noticing, but I guess we could wait for upcoming chapter(s) to see anything significant. What I want to see the reactions from many, especially Sakura after seeing what's inside Naruto's heart. After that, it should motivate many and I can see a repeat of 628 with Sakura plus more emotions. There's a reason why she got a lot of focus in this chapter and just on time, because next volume, here we come.

no idea about harming katsuyu = harming it's host, but harming the host =/= harming the slug attachment. naruto and one slug proved this in the pain's fight.

This is very plausible. Maybe at the last moment naruto will try to tnj obito,and when obito is finally turning good madara kills him

Usuratonkachi means "dim hammer", "slow-switted person". It's a common saying of "dumbass, stupid, moron". It's like baka but it is not current. Sasuke said this word often towards Naruto in the first part... 

 

Anyway I don't think that he used that word in this chapter :)

He's not helping him. He either stole or will use somehow Hashirama's hermit power. It's possible also that Madara will somewhat help defeating Obito. But, I think he'll just use the hermit power, along with the rest of his plan if there's any, to defeat Obito.
