I know Jiraiya putting his hands together was a handseal, but he had to hold it for 5 minutes. Hashirama didn't. I think Hashirama is a perfect sage.

 

I also know it was stated in the manga that you're a more perfect sage the less markings you have.

First off, it was never stated in the manga that Jiraiya had to hold the hand seal for 5 minutes, in fact after re-reading the chapter the amount of time in which he held them together couldn't have been more then 2 minutes and that's being generous, also during this time Jiraiya was also preforming a detection barrier jutsu.

I only watched the anime at time, but I remember he  ran through some sewers or something, with his hand put together and a frog had to do the fighting. In the anime it looked like around 5 minutes to me.

While I haven't seen those episodes, from what I've read Studio Periot added a fair amount of filler to the fight to help pad out the episodes, but like I said I haven't seen those episodes so I can't really tell.

 

Also Jiraiya did duck into a hole in the wall but he only spent 3 pages there, most of which was a conversation between Jiraiya, and the two toads.

Actually as far as I remember, Jiraiya was waving the signs while Ma and Pa gathered SM energy for him...As for Hashi's SM I still hold onto my idea, it's just Mokuton Senpou, not SSM. But I guess we'll see. :)

That specific handseal was made before Pain's chamaeleon summoning altered its colouring to blend in with the environment. The fact that he placed his hands together, in a position and style very reminiscent of Hashirama, whilst making a statement that he was going to use SM in exactly the same panel indicates that it was related to Sage Mode.

Didn't one of the interpreters on this forum state that Hashirama's Mokuton jutsu was only a senjutsu technique and not the name of the SM variant he was using? Since the markings on his forehead hold the same spiritual connotations as Tsunade or Sakura's seal it can be interpreted that the two possess a connection with each other. At the very least their respective effects seem to have similar benefits for the user.

Cant wait till Wednesday. .....madara wants to become the jubi's jinjuriki and revive himself..vice versa that is..looks like obito has got something up his sleeve....minato's almost gonna know the truth....I wonder if sakuras gonna heal obito so madara doesnt revive himself...and maybe obito will have a chanage of heart.

Well, I dont think sasuke will have a particular reaction, but I am curious about minatos reaction and to sasukes reaction to knowing that obito, the one that always was with him in times of evil, is actually the masked man.

And then while Sakura is healing him, Obito will imagine Rin healing him and then another parallel confirmed .

I'm not sure in any of it, but I'll go with B cause I'm leaning to it the most.

Sakura heals Obito.

 

I wouldn't know why. If Obito still lives then Madara has another chance to use his rinnegan to revive himself. The priority would be to stop Madara from manipulation Obito. Also, you have to remember that Obito still wants to fulfill the moon's eye plan so he needs to be stopped from taking further action as well, and healing him doesn't fit that purpose.

 

We can't have people healing Obito just because, even Kakashi has resolved himself to kill him. If Obito still wants to go along with his plan then he will be attacked.

 

Don't get me wrong, I also want to see a Sakura/Rin comparison but right now Sakura healing Obito doesn't seem to fit. Maybe after we see how the plot keeps going something could make sense.

I don't see why Sakura would heal Obito. But a parallel with Rin seems to be on the horizon
