If people can claim that Naruto's "selfish" line is a hint of NH then I can just as well claim that Sakura's reaction to Hinata's speech is a hint for NS.

Sakura's reaction is actually logic. Not some wishful thinking like that selfish line would be.

I'm surprised no one has addressed Ino's possible reaction to Sasuke appearing. This will literally be the first time since the Chunin Exams that they've seen each other and as we're all aware Ino is still infatuated with Sasuke; her grieving over the need to kill him to prevent a war and then considering him to be a "positive love" (as sickening as that sounds) can attest to this. Many of us are concerned about how Sakura will react, so am I actually, but I'm also curious to see how Ino will behave around this newly "reformed" Sasuke as she doesn't seem to have been able to move on to any degree like Sakura has.

I'm aware of that, it's highly possible she will be a fangirl or will continue her crush because there's no development for her to get over Sasuke and also she's still is in love with him, the fact is that will be the first time she will see the Shippuuden Sasuke.

I'm actually hoping more to see Kakashi vs Obito since it will finally reveal the reasons as to why Kakashi had to kill Rin. Besides, the editor's notes teases towards next chapter being about them.

But I'm sure that eventually we'll get to see Sakura have a role once again. I would find it ridiculous for her introduction to be her worrying about Naruto pushing his limits and yet have her focus her attention only on Sasuke when he appears. That's why hearing people ignore how Sakura has her mind on Naruto and believe that Sakura's role will be exclusively related to Sasuke confuses the hell out of me.

I'm sure Sakura will get some development with Sasuke when he eventually arrives, but to say that she'll have nothing to do with Naruto when the first thing she does as she's reintroduced after such a long time is to worry over his safety is to be completely delusional.

However, another rape face has been shoved onto Madara. Kishimoto's last good villain has been damaged. Again. And the story surrounding this chapter as it is doesn't help one bit.

Just got a chance to read the new pages. Haven't read this thread, but if history is any guide I can guess what's on it. So I'm just going to present my little list of reading notes as they occurred to me.

+ Did anyone notice the title of this chapter? Here, and From Now On. Hmm....

+ LOL @ Choji's food metaphors.

+ I'm sorry, but Naruto and Sakura look fantastic together. To my eyes, everything about them complements each other and it jumps off the page. Just saying.

+ Much love for Kurama.

+ I love that Kurama's concern for Naruto so precisely echoes Sakura's concern. Hmm....

+ Naruto's insults to Obito are hilarious.

+ Sakura's Shannaro! was great. When was the last time she said/thought that? I don't remember it much in Shippuuden.

+ I've said this before, but I kind of love Madara -- all intense and stylishly evil. The panel of him recognizing Hashirama's chakra made him seem more than one twist short of Slinky.

+ Tenben Chii = Heaven and Earth Paranormality. Heaven and Earth. Here, and From Now On. Hmm....

+ While I am keen to see the Kakashi vs. Obito resolution and find out about Rin's death, I admit I'm anxious about it. Worried about Kakashi, I mean. x__X


Overall I got a very good feeling about Naruto in this chapter. Sakura, too. I thought the whole thing was more exciting and interesting than most chapters in recent memory. And there's still a lot of ground to cover.

I... I don't want to read this manga anymore... but reading it has become such a habit.

This manga, Naruto, is just like beer, at first its delicious, tasty, and delightful! Now you've become an alcoholic and will read/drink it no matter how bad it is or will get...and then eventually...it will kill us...or at the very least make us vomit violently and leave us feeling hung over!

It would be interesting if the Heaven and Earth Paranormality was a sort of foreshadowing about NS considering that one of the most significant NS moments happened in the Heaven and Earth bridge back in the Sasuke Reunion arc.

I initially had the feeling that the Here, and From Now On chapter title had something to do with Sakura's resolve to help Naruto, but the more I try to think about it the more it looks that the title isn't related to anything for some reason.

Maybe since the Juubi has begun the ninja apocalypse it means that Here, and From Now On kitten gets real. I really don't know.

I think that the chapter title is saying that Naruto is going to end, here's and from now on could means that this is the last thing it's going to happen, since here and from now on we will have probably three battles, Naruto vs Sasuke, Hashirama vs Kages and Obito vs Kakashi.

Meh. Nothing special from Sakura. Not that I was expecting it, of course. Wasn't expecting to see the chakra transfer from Naruto to her, either.

Her worrying over Naruto was nice. And as KnS said, what she said and what Kurama said to Naruto seem to echo each other.
But if she was on the battlefield this entire time, why wasn't she shown before? And interesting that she only shows up once we learn that Sasuke is headed to her location... Hmm...

I don't expect Sakura to do much. Everyone always does, but it never happens. She'll probably react to Sasuke when he arrives, and then slip back into the background, as always.

Madara's face when he recognises Hashirama's chakra. Priceless.

The only thing I'm looking forward to right now is Kakashi and Obito's upcoming fight/conversation. Maybe we'll finally find out why Kakashi killed Rin... And maybe a NaruSaku/ObiRin parallel? Nah.

Who has been drawing the manga lately tho. The drawings look rather messy, especially Sakura. I think his assistants have been doing it for him a lot recently (mainly the main battlefield stuff, I think Kishimoto drew most of the Madara/Hashirama chapters). I hope that when (if?) we get a big NS moment, Kishi will draw it and it'll be really lovely.

Oh, and the chapter title seems pretty random to me, lol.

I find the whole constant heaven and earth stuff repeating to be neat. Simple meaning in the chunin exams, the bridge in the 4 tails event was called the heaven and earth bridge and now this.

If Sakura actually does get to work here, that would be incredible, if she can help Naruto here before the Sasuke arrival, that could be an incredible moment. Maybe its just the heaven and earth stuff and I'm not getting my hopes that high but I just liked this chapter because Sakura is showing her concern and confidence in Naruto as the disasters begin to come. Okay nothing to get hyper excited about but its a funny reoccurrence that Naruto and Sakura are present for these heaven and earth situations.

But I am so excited to see a big fight, Kakashi vs. Obito, this is going to be a very good fight. Former friends but also a part of redemption on Kakashi's part. The Alliance may have only a limited counterattack before the kages arrive. At this point, I'm okay with another break from Sakura because I want to see the fight between Kakashi and Obito. I'm actually thinking we may go to this fight before back to Naruto. Its like all the main characters are coming into main focus like this could be a possible future sequence:

Kakashi then Sakura then Naruto then Sasuke and co arrive then ultimate battle begins, heck thats a simple one but I'm just excited for one epic battle and the potential that Sakura may do something with Naruto, she only needs the right event to do something good.

This chapter will be enough to get me though the next wait, hell I hope we go to kakashi and obito's fight, if we see another ObiRin parallel (before obitos introduction to madara) in a flashback, that's just more evidence on our plate.

I'm okay with a fight/flashback sequence for Kakashi because well Kakashi is the definition of awesome in this series, he is not the main main character but he is the only main character who is powerful and does not have some issues in development from most people. There are always reasonable ways people hate on Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke but I hardly hear anything on Kakashi. Kakashi was my favorite in the start, still is, I am glad he was revived in the pain arc.

Man this is a morale boosting week for me, first this and now RtN, got to see that soon in jap subs at last and tell people what I think.
