You honestly think I haven't been reading this forum enough to be able to read between the lines? It is obvious to everyone that you were talking about Neji because during the last weeks you in this forum have been doing little else than complaining how Neji's death sucks ass because he "had to die for NH" and how NH sucks because it claimed "Neji as blood sacrifice". Please.

Well, yeah. This is why I'm so confused. You people know better than anyone how much it sucks that some character is hated no matter what she does. And yet you yourselves do exactly the same to Hinata. Why? You know how silly all the Sakura haters are. Why be like them?

Edit. I seriously have no desire to try to convince you to like Hinata or NH; I really don't want that headache. But this Hinata hating is really silly.

This Hinata dislike has a meaning. Not silly reasons like Sakura haters. Let us be clear.

How is "Obito will attack Sakura because she reminds him of Rin" theory holding up these days? Are there still believers in that theory in this forum?

Not all of this Hinata dislike has a meaning. We have bashers on every side, ours too. I try to be rational by thinking, what would I've thought if Sakura or someone else did the same? I have seen one excellent Sakura rant, I may not agree with him on every point, but it's always like that. I don't agree with him, I understand him. Check out Kingoflighting's Sakura video, I think he points out very legit reasons.

Other people's bad behaviour is no excuse for you to behave just as badly. You are obviously welcome to have your own opinions about everything and you don't have to agree with me. But I think that all of us might want to try to calm down and seriously think how we are coming across.

fireandice, fair enough, I guess. We have different take on her. Of course there are legimate reasons to not like Hinata but if you look around a while you start seeing that sometimes Hinata tends to warp into something unrecognisable, into some weirdo stalker and obsessed little weakling who took a leak on Neji's cooling body. Who is that girl? rolleyes.gif

I agree it's not entirely fair to say Hinata didn't give a toss about Neji, because well, she was pretty much crying her eyes out. I hope the anime can add some flashbacks. I understand that some of these things get left out as Kishi wants to speed up the plot but it would be nice.

That moment wouldn't have bothered me so much, if Hinata's actions hadn't been so Naruto-centric throughout Part 2 :/ And I think some people start to dislike Hinata when the fans compare her to Sakura and bash Sakura.

Anyways, IMO sure I like NaruSaku, but I would definitely like Hinata more if Kishi made it more about her also growing into her own person? She just seems so fixated on Naruto she seems to have forgotten everything else I'm like "urghhhno you are Hyuuga heiress, you LIKED Naruto because you wanted to do your clan proud etc etc!!".

I'm generally like that...I dislike female characters who become entirely ridiculous when the guy they like is involved. Which is why I didn't like Sakura at the start of P1, and I wished she wasn't still feeling attached to Sasuke! tongue.gif

I kind of dislike Part 2 Hinata, but not to the point that if wrote a fic on her, I would have to bash her. It's more of the sort of dislike that...I would instead WRITE her character differently so it's not just "Naruto-kun"!!! smile.gif

Because I am wondering how those people who first suggested that theory now feel about it. I haven't really believed in that theory so I can't say how it might fit the current events. I am curious to see how others feel. How about you not assume the worst about me every time I post? That way we would have much better discussions.

Wow...I can't believe after reading 18 pages of this, it's back to the same stuff. Sakura disappears for a while...so what? Personally, I'm glad that she isn't in which means that he is purposefully using her for something. Sai is also gone and I laugh at the person whoever said he wasn't important. Naruto, Sakura, and Kakashi acknowledges Sai as part of their team.

I'm gonna speculate that he and Sakura have either gone to the fallen Kages or like a poster said earlier, a plan from Shukaku has her MIA in the panels. It amazes me that because Hinata popped his shoulder back in she instantly replaces Sakura as a medic-nin. How does that even make sense?

Kishimoto said in his interview that he's gonna make a lot of characters shine. Uhh...Hinata was barely in the manga at all so he's most likely making it up to her fans who are manga readers ONLY.

Guess we can chuck out the RtN movie since a lot of people just forgot that existed and all of the NS developments over the course of the manga. I'm just gonna say a lot of you guys need to take a chill from the manga and maybe re-read it or read another series. When you're trippin from a character popping another character's shoulder in, then thinking that character is instantly a heroine/medic, you know you need to take a break.

Whatever you want to believe and helps you sleep at night. It's not like people change their minds or realize that their direction of interest is in another form.

IE. Not that Neji's death didn't make an impact, but that people ignored it for the supposed NH development.

I forgot to add this, but if you want to know what I really referring to is the ideas of some who say that a couple only happens because the other person died. So like "NS is only canon because Hinata died" or "NH is canon cause Sakura died" or "NS is only canon cause Sasuke died."

That was actually what I was really referring to.

Here is a bigger question, how come Hinata is seen as this goddess who can't be held accountable for her actions? How come Hinata nearly caused the death of everyone making Naruto transform into the nine-tails which if it wasn't for Minato even kill the man she loves?

Everyone holds everything Sakura does bad against her and never looking at the good. Hinata, on the other hand, gets treated like a goddess and seen as perfect when she has screwed up. I am not like "them." I see Sakura as a character who grows and develops, not a flawless goddess. A character who makes mistakes and continues forward and while yes, she had made some poor decisions, it just strengthened her as a character.

Hinata screws up too and nearly got everyone killed once with little to no help to Naruto at all. 615, the only time Hinata is actually useful. They don't see the times she made poor decisions, they don't see her obsessive with Naruto and how she eats and breathes him ever time she is on screen.

We also have moments where she should have been there and wasn't. Yet Sakura was always there for Naruto and it gets ignored.

See my problem is not with Hinata. It's with her fans. I judge Hinata as much as I judge Sakura and I have given several times where I have Hinata credit for things and say "Wow, she finally grew up." The fangirling over Naruto is what disappoints me about her.

People hated when Sakura fangirled over Sasuke (as did I), but Hinata fangirling Naruto is completely legit. Give me a break.

I was once a NH fan too, Poison. Don't forget that.

Not even gonna read this chapter, I already see with the hype it's pointless to even bother reading it.
I agree with what is bolded though. From the splash page it looks like Sakura's gonna get a huge chance to shine. I guess Kishi's just throwing us a double whammy with the trolling. He'll troll H a bit more, and then give us what we need. Like last week.

I can understand that. Under other circumstances it might bother me too, but not now. Hinata's Naruto-centric worldview is no problem for me because she has been such a minor character and that alone pretty much means that she will only figure into events when she can be relevant to Naruto. I would not mind if Kishi gave her some other plotlines but I don't really need them. She seems to have a very specific role and that role is centered to Naruto.

Ehh, I reckon you should read it. It's quite a good chapter.

IMO, it's massive overreaction over like only TWO panels of Hinata where she doesn't even say anything, nor is she shown in close up or dramatised. The focus of this chapter is pretty much Lee and Kakashi.

I suppose I can understand your POV there, if you look at Hinata's role differently and hence it doesn't bother you, not so much that you think she's completely perfect smile.gif

If you're talking about Naruto-->Sakura, it would irritating too, if he had no purpose in his life other than her. You know, that is why I personally hate Twilight tongue.gif It is NOT healthy to live, breathe one other person to point where you become some obsessed person!

However, Naruto has shown to have other dreams, like being Hokage, being concerned about Sasuke, other than liking Sakura smile.gif What I do like is that Naruto's love for Sakura seems to have really matured. It's not quite just a childish crush. The chapter where he talks to Sai and Sai asks him why he doesn't tell Sakura how he feels was something I really liked, as it showed his feelings were deeper too- the way he suddenly looked so somber! Plus he seems pretty much willing to put Sakura's feelings before his own (Kage summit arc)

I suppose, if Hinata were a main character in some other series, she would seem less one-dimensional to me as she would likely be given other traits. It's just that imo it's not that hard for Kishi to add in a few more lines showing she certainly is a person who has more to her life than Naruto.

I can understand you being bothered by the fans' double standards. But this in no way excuses you treating Hinata the same way the other fans treat Sakura. You need to separate the fans from the work itself. Hinata is no monster, neither is Sakura. Neither of them is a perfect goddess either. No matter what their fans and haters might think. Believe it or not but it is perfectly possible to like both Sakura and Hinata. Sakura is, along with Sasuke, my favourite character. I like Hinata very much, though she is no favourite. Why would I listen to their haters or those fans who refuse to see that the girls can have flaws? I have the manga, I can read it and see how both of those groups keep twisting the girls into something that they are not. I sure as hell am not going to let other people and their misguided opinions ruin this series for me. It's just some people wrong on the Internet, after all.

Chatte, surely you are able to behave yourself regardless of how I behave? I am not on this forum just to personally piss you off.
