Is that the final plot twist of the series? Sasuke was a scroll all along.

I would love to believe that the image hints that Naruto and Sakura are going to fight Sasuke together but I can't. Everything has lead up to a Naruto vs Sasuke fight. But if Tsunade dies I'd except Naruto and Sakura vs Orochimaru, the students of Jiraiya and Tsunade finishing their conflict for them.

I really like this idea. It would be interesting to see a fight with Naruto and Sakura vs someone. They would be a lot stronger together, especially that both have great strength.

Oh no, I totally wasn't suggesting that Sakura should fight with Naruto against Sasuke. That wouldn't feel right for me. I just wanted to point out that the cover page actually has Naruto and Sakura side by side. At the beginning I didn't notice at all so you can imagine how pleasantly surprised I was when Canadian_DJ pointed it out.

I actually thought that Sasuke was actually looking back at Sakura, which I found weird since it would make more sense for him to look at Naruto. Now that I know he's a scroll I see that he's looking right to the front, and even if he was looking at Sakura it doesn't matter, he's a scroll.

By the way, I really like your idea of Naruto and Sakura fighting Orochimaru. If they don't team up in the juubi fight that could be a reasonable scenario in which it could happen. Let's see. Although I'd rather it happened now.

Well so far, Kishi hasn't betray his own work, which is good. I can't believe we overdid it in the last chapter though I was more of wait and see guy anyway. Now, it's pretty clear what was the chapter before this is all about. The best part is that the plan is not over and perhaps Sakura will have a role to this. I look forward to it.

About the color spread, holy crap! I now realized it. That's a great found! Huge rep! It does make sense because Sasuke is like a giant though it does mean like "evil emperor". The good ol' classic samurai story. This day just keeps getting better and better. Redragon88, you didn't drink for sorrow that this chapter may have brought in, did you?

I think Sasuke and team taka will fight orochimaru, because it's obvious that Kishi still has to show the readers the extent of Sasuke's powers, we know about Naruto but not about Sasuke, before the final battle.

Nice chapter here with some very good development from more characters very nice. I really like the colored page too.

However this chapter showed me just how most of our fanbase truly is. Sometimes it is hard to say we have such a stable fanbase if at every small moment we loose control and start to worry our heads off. There was so much negative emotions on the forums that I left for a while because you guys were getting so depressed.

COME ON lets become more strong than this. We should always remember chapter 615 as what almost broke us, learn from that, and grow stronger. This way when another thing like this comes up (you never know) we will all be ready to handle it.

Anyway im glad that everything is back to normal and I hope that all NS fans who might have turned 180 will be coming back to their roots.

How would they have spoilers for chapter 627 when Kishimoto has only released up to 616? I thought that the chapters are individually released in SJ before being published into a volume.

of course it's a fake... he even written Sakura with kanji... Kishi didn't called her in that style... Her name is written in katakana... It's a troll at 100%.

Wat?? Why should there be soilers out today for a future chapter?? We just got a a chapter today.

Ofc NaruHina still has chance, they always had, but srsly Kishi ruined any hint that the "hold hands" was something romantic with this chapter.

Let's look at it in this way: Sakura hugged Naruto and then in the next chapter Ino and Tenten hug him too, That would totally break the "romantic vibe" don't you think? at least for me it would.

Does sound incredibly fake, like faker than those early 615 spoilers, but Sakura's death is a strange one for me, on one hand I'd love to see it just to see what Naruto/Kakashi/Ino etc would do but if it did happen then you can count on Rinne Rebirth happening and with Shikaku, Inoichi and Neji dead I don't want a repeat of the Pain arc I'd rather those that have died to remain dead.

Well I'm pretty sure Kishi has some of the future chapters already made and ready for publication. Up to #627 though? Doubtful.

Well well well, this is a surprise. After shoveling out such an awful chapter in 615, Kishi must have realized he made an awful mistake and tried extra hard on this one. I can't think of any other explanation as to why the last one was so awful, and this one is so damn good.

Yes. This chapter is a great chapter. It doesn't excuse or fix the last one, or undo the damage done to this manga as a whole, but it does show that Kishi got his kitten back together. At least, for this chapter. We'll see what happens next week.
