Why the heck does naruto's eyes in that cake's image look like a 3 tomoe sharingan ?

It's just a bad scan. I think it's suppose to look like his eyes have that whirlpool design like the other image from the movie thread with chibi Naruto and Sasuke.

Thats a good artwork! but at the same time  you shouldn't have joked about sakura redeeming herself by punching sasuke. Because what would happen if the opposite happens? plus it doesn't help much that kishi's treats sakura like utter crap so its actually hard to believe that kishi might make sakura move on from sasuke. 

 

I don't mean to  sound negative but lately a lot of poor characterizations has been happening to sakura lately so its really hard to joke about it....

how do you know the opposite will happen?   I happen to know that someone made a drawing of minato meeting sakura and naruto for fun and kinda a prediction a week before 631, and look what happened xD sure it wasn't exactly the same in the picture but it was basically spot on xD

Exactly what SilverStar said. Except it's also the artstyle of the artist. They always put the swirls in character's eyes.

I want to talk about parallels. I can't understand those who like JiraTsu or ObiRin or MinaKushi and at the same time despise NaruSaku. Tsunade made as much or even more dubious decisions compared to Sakura's case, for example. Most people forget how she was before she became Hokage. Sakura and Tsunade mirror each other in many ways. And ObiRin shippers claim that Rin was much more supportive of Obito and didn't beat the poor boy... so unlike Sakura the Menace. Well, maybe she should have given him a good thrashing... and eveything would have turned out better. I think that Sakura would find a way to haunt Naruto after her death if he tried to be an idiot about it and cosplay the mad revolutioner. Speaking of MinaKushi lovers... no comments here. >< It pains me.

No, Rin is a dead angel to them. You don't speak bad about a girl who died tragically. >> I like Rin, by the way, and do not blame her for Obito's faults.

Minakushi is pretty different from NS actually. I totally agree that Sakura is more or less exactly like Kushina, but kushina realised her feelings for Minato pretty early, whereas kishi constantly keeps on showing Sakura having feelings for Sasuke which until now has not been clarified are supposed to be platonic or romantic. If kakashi stating they are platonic is fine with many people here then why not sai telling Sakura that Naruto loves her.

 

As for Obirin, I don't think rin ever had romantic/obsessive feelings for kakashi, it was obito who never really tried and obito went out of the picture when they were 12-13 I think, whereas at that same age Sakura was always drooling over Sasuke, sensing which(hospital scene, POAL) Naruto used to bury his feelings for her happiness.

 

JiraTsu and NS are also kind of different, and the only thing that they have in common is unrequited love. Tsunade did have a successful relationship with Dan, and that's why jiraiya didn't had any chance, whereas Sakura just wanted to be with Sasuke and Sasuke wanted to ignore her in most of the manga and Sakura still said "I love you" to sasuke in 693. JiraTsu was nice because we knew that either tsunade loves/cares for Jiraiya or atleast doesn't love anyone else. I for one don't exactly ship JT anymore because it was really shown later that Tsunade still had feelings for Dan in the infinite tsukiyomi, and I hate it when guys with selfless feelings are shown to be a second guy.

 

I have become pretty sad with all the pairings now NS/NH/SS. I know that NS has most development and interactions but Sakura's feelings towards Sasuke really makes Naruto look like a second guy. And now when Sasuke rejected Sakura in 693, Sakura accepting Naruto will just confirm that Naruto is a second guy for her in romantic sense. Now I wonder if Sasuke would have become nice just after defeating Kaguya, wouldn't Sakura just have wanted to be with him again? I can't accept NS just because they have had most development, which by the way, can be considered completely platonic also. I used to believe NS happening will be nice but 693 just ruined it for me. If Sakura would just have said "I Still care about you" or something like that it would have been so so much better because these are the words supposed to be used in a platonic way.

Here's a interesting question for everyone........if the manga ends with so many left unanswered questions and kishimoto decides to make a sequel installment following after "The Last"........what sort of power ups or abilities would you want Sakura to gain in the new series?

Hypothetically speaking since hardly anyone believes that would happen but doesn't hurt to wonder lol

Where is it shown that Rin was as much/even into kakashi as compared to Sakura being in Naruto.

I pretty much understood you. I wasn't saying you blamed Rin. Yep, she loved Kakashi and even confessed to him (I think) when Obito died. "Poor Obito". I assume that the only valid reasons for Sakura bashing in NS are haters' memory lapses and the fact that all the other female characters weren't featured as much as Sakura.

Yes, she is. Sakura is the main female protagonist, thus we witness much more... negative/dubious Sakura's acts compared to other female characters. That is why people judge and consider her the one who ruins NS.

To me it felt like they would have been that one couple we would like to watch along side NS because they would have interesting reactions towards each other if their relationship ever stepped closer and had more time.
