Remember Kakashi said that was top secret to Chiyo, it wasn't known by Naruto's age peers, and wasn't known outside of Konoha except for the Akatsuki. Remember Chiyo has to be told, Temari appears to find it out in that arc, the Kumo ninjas didn't know until they were told, etc... Sakura looked in Naruto's file and discovered he was the kyuubi's host, but even she did not know the term- jinchuriki. Naruto guessed she looked in his file. It wasn't until some time after the rescue Gaara arc that the rest of Naruto's age peers were told he was the kyuubi host. It wasn't the Kage summit that ninjas in the other countries (other than Suna) were told Naruto was the kyuubi jinchuriki.

I'm a bit peeved at Kakashi at letting Sai and Yamato hear about it, but he kept it from Sakura, just like he kept what Madara said about Sasuke from Sakura. Kakashi's all encouraging to Sai about being part of Team 7, but he's still treating Sakura like she's not a real part of Team 7. And gets Naruto to follow along with that. (And I'll stop now before I start ranting wink.gif about how right Kakashi was when he said he'd been an awful teacher to Sakura- yet he's done nothing to fix that.....)

I don't think she knows, but I'm hoping Naruto tells her. I'd love to see him talk to Sakura about finally meeting his parents- it could be a really sweet and tender scene between them....

biggrin.gif Think we're on the same page here too!

I can't stand the way things are withheld from Sakura. It's just a double standard, plain and simple. Not from mean-spirited intentions, but a double standard, nonetheless. Unfortunately I think it has more to do with plot device than character development: Sakura has been shown to be highly intelligent, highly determined and highly perceptive. If she were to get a whiff of anything about Naruto, she'd be putting the dots together all over the place. So I think to keep her in the role of love interest, they have to keep her in the dark about things to continue to build suspense.

But it's always grating to see her character undermined in any way. Even in this last chapter: her long-overdue badass moment was overshadowed for most people by her single panel recalling stupid Sasuke. Would have like to have seen her in the fight scene with no strings attached. Just plain badass. Voila. No thoughts of Sasuke so the Sakura-bashers can continue to hate her. But like I said, it's plot device first, character development second.

About Kakashi though, I've always wondered if his treatment of her didn't directly stem from whatever fate befell Rin. The situations are mirrored between his team and Team 7, yet she didn't make it. Apparently Kakashi couldn't keep his word to Obito. So, I'm still expecting some flash-back illumination there. Those themes would tie in nicely with Naruto's promise-bond stuff.

It also bums me out that some of the things I'd really like to see — Sakura peeking at the files, the rest of the rookies finding out about the jin status, Sakura's training with Tsunade — all happens off camera. Any of those flashbacks or mini-storylines would have been an oasis in the vast deserts of Sasuke worship that Kishimoto wanders into from time to time.

I guess he didn't think she really needed his help... He did tell her that he was a bad teacher, if I remember correctly, plus she has Tsunade who's always in the village but Jiraiya was always gone for Naruto. Kakashi doesn't have anythin much to teach Sakura I suppose.

One of the my biggest ongoing disappointments about Part 2...

The Kyuubi and the ostracizing that went on as a result werea big part of who he was in the beginning and it's a shame that everyone finding out about Kyuubi wasn't direcrly shown. I wanted to see that.

well kakashi did tell tsunade that she was a good and level-headed student when sakura was asking to be her student.

Yes well said, it was so suspenseful in part 1, but in part 2 they all just knew =(
I wanted to see the emotion, not just Sakura's but all of them.

As for Kakashi I didnt like him in the first part because he only trained sasuke, (taught him the freakin chidori, that's worked out well)

But now I like the fact that he trains Naruto, of course it seems like he only did it cause he has to and jiraiya kind of made him, but w.e. that's what makes Kakashi, Kakashi.

You know what would make a good upcoming moment, hasn't Sakura changed her appearance??? (vest and hair tied back) Naruto should compliment her, or think to himself that she's brave and looks good while healing numerous ppl, then we know he still has a thing for her.

Naruto loves sakura so i expect him to drool ( or just staring) over her apperance and her being busy. since the last time he saw her hair tied back he was blushing at her.

If I remember correctly, that scene was only in the anime. Sakura tying her hair back that is. In the manga she just took out the poison one shot.

After putting some serious thought into it, I see a Kingdom Hearts kind of story or romance, Naruto(Sora), Sasuke(Riku), Sakura(Kiari). Anyone else see this resemblance?

Nah, Sakura's reaction is too negative in that fic. There's been some better ones, ones that captured quite well her having a reaction much like in we see in manga canon. Discovering this likely hastened the path to her falling deeply in love with him as it stirred her deep sense of compassion.

Do you know the fic's i've been looking for some like them.

I know what you mean but I still doubt there's gonna be an ending similar to Kingdom Hearts.
Sasuke has actually killed those Samurais and is far too evil now. It's highly probable that he's gonna kill even more people.
It's gotta be NaruSaku at the end for sure, Sasuke must die.

Well even if Sasuke lives, it doesn't mean NaruSaku is over... it just means that sasuke lives
Sakura isn't a 12 year old fangirl, shes not gonna go crying to sasuke, not with all of her development so far.
it just wouldn't make any sense at all.

Nah I don't want Sasuke to die because 1. He's an important character to the series and Kishimoto LOVES drawing him and 2. that would just give NaruSaku a default win which is not satisfactory I want NaruSaku to flourish even if Sasuke's alive so those other shippers "GET THE MESSAGE" that their pairing was a HUUUGE long shot and just won't likely happen. Oh and about Sakura being bashed because of That thought on Sasuke, isn't that what I said? huh.gif she's supposed to be portrayed as the heroine but that scene is NOT helping headscratch.gif Its doing the opposite, her getting shredded on worse sad.gif so WHAT could Kishimoto be planning? He should be able to foresee this with that last Sakura HATE fest during his interview for 2010 dry.gif

If Sakura kissed Naruto before the final battle or just obviously realised her feelings for Naruto, then Sasuke could still die without a win by default.

I want as much tragic scenes at the end as possbile (without Naruto or Sakura dying) so I hope Sasuke dies. Hinata dying would be fine by me too.

Anyway, it seems the manga has lots of narrow-minded characters. But it's a work of fiction and considering the circumstances (war, violence and power power struggles) almost every action pattern is comprehensible.
As for the confession, it's not only Sakura who takes extreme measures. Raikage, Sasuke, Naruto, Itachi etc. actually do the
same.

I'm thinking one or two of the Konoha 11 will die by the end of the manga. I mean come on its a freaking war. Just because their main characters doesn't mean they're indestructible. Well realistically there would be casualties but this is a fantasy story so it might not happen. I especially liked Chouji's "death scene" in the Sasuke retrieval arc I thought it was dramatic and well-done. But when he survived in the end I was like "whutttttt??"

And if Sakura ended up with Sasuke in the end if he survived then I'll be wasting years of my life investing in this story. It would be a huge disappointment. Sasuke dieing wont necessarily mean Naruto failed. He already resolved that both of them would die meaning he will kill Sasuke himself. So he already thought of Sasuke dieing in the end. So the most favourable ending for me would be Sasuke turning good battling the juubi with Naruto but sacrificed. He would then ask Naruto to live before dieing. Naruto wont feel like a failure then.

Personally I would love for Sasuke to die a villain and get Pummeled by Naruto, but that won't happen.
Sasuke will be saved and realize his errors, but then die or as he dies he realizes what he's done( or he's got a master plan like itachi)

Good news is that Sakura will tell Naruto that she loves him before the final fight and hopefully we will get a kiss.

Tragic scences would make a good ending as long as Naruto and Sakura aren't involved.

I really do hope we get a kiss, cause ppl keep saying it's a shonuen and for 15 yr boys sooo idk
But we will most likely get a I love u and an epilogue where Naruto and Sakura will be together hopefully it will be a clear with no room for other pairings.....oh and yea it's for 15 yr boys but those boys like me grow up, I started watching naruto when I was 14 or 15 and look at me now....sorry I'm rambling, but what else am I supposed to do at work.
