You know I've always considered Rave Master to be Hiro's best manga in terms of storytelling. 

 

 

We all know that Rave Master is better than Fairy Tail and that's been shown for years, but do you guys feel that Fairy Tail Zero is the closest in terms of quality and storytelling that Hiro has done since Rave Master?

 

 

and Also do you guys think that Hiro will produce the same quality in whatever manga series he does after Fairy Tail?

 

 

 

by no means do I think Fairy Tail is garbage after the latest chapter because no it isn't.. Fairy Tail to be is just simply a good to good+ nothing more nothing less.

I have VERY FEW problems with Fairy Tail overall. I love the story and the fights are well done. It's only the a-pull outcomes for SOME of these fights that bothers me, prominently Erza's, but does that mean I hate the series? No. Do I hate Erza? No. I love the series and Erza is one of my favourite characters but I acknowledge the fact that some things are not so well planned out for the fights, because that is using my logic. I don't follow something blindly without acknowledging it's flaws, and if there are flaws I don't notice but are pointed out by someone else I can either agree with it or at least try to understand their point of it. Remember though "making sense" of a story need not be only applying things realistically, but also whether or not it fits the context, rules, and set up of the story itself.

I don't think anything in fairy tail is bad it's just not Good, then again after the naruto I have no expectation anymore I'm taking fairy tail' s asspull in stride cause no matter how bad fairy tail is naruto is worse.

Silver vs Gray was an amazing fight and you feel sorry the both of them. Silver saying no father hurts their kids makes him leagues above naruto and Sasuke. I wish Erza and her mom relationship could have use the gray and silver relationship as a crux but do something different with and make its own.

Wish more fans were Like you with this were they know about the character's and still likes them despite the flaws. Like with Sakura I love sakura even with her flaws which makes me like her to see her overcome those flaws. Yet sakura is constantly kitten on but no one else gets kitten on more than sakura even though naruto, sasuke and hinata have so many flaws it's not funny but fans let their flaws go but not sakura like James s Cassidy Said in his sakura development video from 2013. Or how people still kitten on Robocop 2 but let other things side come on.

Well that was resolved...anti-climatically, makes you wonder why there was even a point of his collapse, Natsu never thought of himself as anything but human, that part of his resolve never really changed so it shouldn't have affected him.

 

I did have an interesting thought, (unlikely this will go in the direction as Hiro has a habit of hinting at something and then falling well short of the hint he gives.) What if the current arc with Erza was for Natsu to give Erza and Grey they boost to defeat the Achnologia, and Zeref, or the opposite, to absorb their ability to defeat them himself.  I doubt it's a coincidence that the trio consist of one who has a mother who turned into a Dragon and one with a father who was turned into a Demon. With Natsu having a father who was an actual Dragon and a brother who is the actual creator of the Demons.

 

It will be interesting to see if this is further built upon or if it will be just there that was put in for the sake of it.

I think the hate come from this :
1. It's a water down version of onepiece
2. Excessive amount of fanservice that turn off (some) readers.
3. Deus ex nakama, literally.

On top of that fan of something need something to hate because it's fun for them. Naruto and bleach get the fair share of hate too.

1. That was certainly true in the beginning. Oh I still remember that day...

2. I guess it defines too much of "anime." Kind of like with Pokemon Sun and Moon. You can't get more anime than a beach episode. Naruto and Bleach have this cover that seems like it's edgy and at some point in the past, it was, but by the end, it tried too hard.

3. I can't argue there. It's more of sigh than cringe with me though. Yoda wasn't kidding. "There is no try."

 

While true, someone takes it to the core. Also, it draws numbers more than hating than the other two. Oddly enough, I find myself disliking more with the other two than Fairy Tail. Nostalgia and covered as edgelord works wonder.

Someone had an interesting explanation to this chapter and what I think makes the most sense. Natsu declaring and firmly believing his identity as a human, not a dragon nor demon may be exactly what he needs to harness both powers. I don't think both powers are necessarily gone, just dormant and waiting to be accessed freely by Natsu.

It was implied that many of the dragonification cases happened due to DS losing their sanity. The reason this happened is because they lost all sense of their identity. But by affirming his identity with zero hesitation, Natsu is now perhaps closer to Acnologia who can freely switch forms. It probably took Acnologia centuries to figure this out.

Next chapter might have August, and we may see August noticing Natsu's change and might explain this whole thing. I don't think it was a bad chapter, really. If anything, I'm quite curious to see what will happen from here on.

If you were to ask me, 'Is this series getting canceled," I would actually think about it. I mean I get the approach but it happened quick. I guess the idea is to squeeze in the other scenes, but it should have been a chapter of its own.

Because of all the revelations coming at him all at once, Natsu started doubting himself and hesitate on who he really is, and that's why the seeds took the oppoturnity to take control. Basically, it's the same deal with Ichigo and his various bloods. Now that Natsu has erased all of his doubts, the seeds are under control.

I suspect he'll be able to use both powers at once now.

Yeah, I think the hate is getting overblown at this point. I mean I never see ft as a bad manga but I don't see it as a great manga either. I see just see it as a generic shonen manga, who follow the trope to the letter. I mean it doesn't exceed expectation nor it fulfill the potential since there's not much potential with this kind of story.

I would say that rave is much more better than ft.

I will say I like this arc problems and ass pulls all more than the final arc of bleach and Naruto' s especially naruto rage enducing naruto.
