I hope that people on Japan have a logical sense that this ending was a giant piece of kitten. Kishi and Jump needs to know that, and go to kittenin hell.

It's not just the NS fandom upset about this. It's fans of Anko. Fans of Karin. Fans of Orochimaru. Fans of Suigetsu. Fans of Team taka in general. Fans of the Ramen guy. Fans of Yamato. Fans of anybody who didn't get to see their favourite character in the end. Fans who were expecting certain things that didn't happen, leaving some loose ends in the manga. This isn't just about the pairings...

699/700 is a bogus rushed forced chapters to make SS and NH canon and there is not a damn thing anyone can say to me to convince me otherwise.

I see people all the time try to tell me I was wrong: "You read it wrong, the facts were obvious. Blah blah." You know, that argument might work on some things, but it doesn't work on all things.

There is no way you can tell me that Sasuke telling Sakura "You are annoying" and saying "I see no reason why I should love her.." line was a misinterpretation. There is no way to come back from that logically and have Sasuke just fall in love with Sakura out of nowhere. You cannot in any way convince me that THAT was me not reading right or misinterpreting it.

No, these are not the same characters I grew up with. I know. I have been reading this manga for years and years and I know when something is not right or forced.

Naruto got screwed in the end and became a bad father
Sakura got screwed in the end and became a house b*tch as did every single female in the series
Sasuke....no, I am not even touching this one.

This is not a happy ending. You don't see Naruto and Hinata happy together. You don't see Sakura and Sasuke happy together. Hell, you don't even see them in the same panels together. Even netural Naruto fans who have no pairing basis can see the bullsh** transpire. A few Naruto friends of mine and my brother just read the chapter and they were stunned. They all asked me "What the hell happened?" bullsh** happened.

Salty? In denial? Sticks and stones....

 

I totally agreed with you man.  Nobody can tell us we read it wrong. I think I discuss once with you that the only way NH or even more SS as a chance to happen if basically you throw all the plot and the logic the story follow through the window.

I can't see it give up on Sakura ( Sasuke tried to kill him and his close one) . Just that alone. I won't even put up the parallel, the parent approval, the bench scene unresolve, the character that shown that Naruto loves Sakura and Sakura cares about Naruto, the fact that Sakura did blush during her confession to Naruto and Kakashi state twice that she is over Sasuke and the fact that during those last 2 chapter, Naruto and Sakura never talk and Karin disappear with taka and orochimaru from he scene.

 

A story were the rival is stronger than the main character and get the girl he wants.

NOBODY CAN TELL US WE READ IT WRONG LOL. NH HAPPENING IS SIMPLY BULL. Since they use a movie to justify this mess, why RTN made by the author was clearly showing another direction that just by coincidence, pointing toward the 698 other chapters.

 

He sell out. Even if you switch Sakura with Hinata, it still a kitten ending.

nh made some sense somehow but ss came out of kittenin nowhere...sasuke had to do a 180 transformation of his character,sakura had to do a 360  which came out making herself look pathetic and weak....if kishi wanted ss why was the need of the negative moments during the war?even in the last minute he made sasuke admitt that he wasnt interested in her..was he lying to himself?but that makes no sense..sasuke is a blunt straight forward guy..couldnt kishi think of anything other than humiliating sakura making her a selfish fangirl in order for ss to happen?i wish his assistant or anyone close to kishi would enlighten me

The thing that bugs me the most was Sasuke saying like 4 Chapters before the 699: "I don't like her, and I don't know why she likes me." And then he turns to "that" thing that we see in 699. Seriously, something happened, Kishi can't be this retarded. And it's not that he tried to cut the bonds with her, the fact is that for him it was already nothingness. If it wasn't Naruto, Sakura would have died like 3-4 times for him, and he wouldn't even bother with this. Sarada, your father really loves your mom, he let her fall into the lava, tried to murder her from behind. WHAT THE ACTUAL kitten IS THIS. This is indeed the most disgusting ending I think I'll ever see in a manga.

I feel empty inside. :( Kishimoto betrayed us..dropping us hints that Sakura loved Naruto back then pairing them with different people.
I literally had a dream last night where I kept drinking water but my dry throat and thirst never went away. Go ahead and laugh. Just read right now that thirst dreams symbolizes an unmet need.
We did not get the couple wrong. Kishimoto got it wrong. Sakura had every reason in the world to return Naruto's feelings and quit loving Sasuke..but Kishi didn't care anymore. Or Sasuke was more important to him. He chose wish fulfillment over real love. I still like Kishi for the rest of the manga making Naruto love Sakura from the start and all the NaruSaku moments in Shippiden..but I am just so disappointed in him for writing that cheap uncaring ending.
Naruto only got with Hinata because Sakura chose Sasuke. At least this we can prove. Hinata was nothing but his rebound though I wish he would've ended up alone to prove he couldn't love another girl except Sakura... (Though I dont blame Naruto for moving on..he probably needed the rebound)
I won't be surprised if Kishi pulls a JK Rowling and admits that Sakura was supposed to end up with Naruto but its not like it'll matter now. The ending chapters are already destroyed.
Good God..SS was supposed to be the tragic ending..not NaruSaku... >.> Just another unfulfilled Tai/Sora Digimon ending. I will continue to ship Naruto x Sakura and maintain that they were supposed to be together. Never ever jumping this ship especially when I know I'm right. NS was supposed to happen.

Essentially, according to Kishi, you can pick up 700 and read it w/ out having to read any of the chapters before that. How disappointing.

 

He's destroyed so many of his characters in such a short time. It's almost like he just self destructed.

I mean switch Hinata and Sakura in chapter 700, it still suck. If I were an NH fan, I've still feel screw. I see Naruto/Hinata in a graveyard in 699. Then I don't even see them together in 700. Neither Sakura or Sasuke. NAruto become an bad dad and his inner child seems dead.

 

I would have seen him ask his kid why he do that just so he can answer the same word he said to Iruka back then. They could have laugh together and than do the prank together, so either an advisor or than Hinata step in to show that she isn't just totally submit to Naruto and send hm to his meeting and make sure both of them clean up. (See HOW MUCH SAKURA FIT BETTER IN WHAT I JUST DESCRIBE, HONESTLY BY REREADING my POST, I'M LIKE WTF HAPPEN?  WHY SOLD OUT )

 

Anyway, it's not jsut because of the pairing, fat anko? Choji/Karui couple of people just got unanswer, if everyone is in the village, what happen to the lord system, why 5 kage. Why mei needed to step down as Mizukage while she was young and never exploited in the manga etc. A lot make no sense when you think about it.

In Japan it's WAY WAY more than 20%. NH/SS are the minority there and NS is the marketed pair and most popular, and Japan is where most of the money comes from.

Main x Main is so mainstream ain't it Kishi? But that Good Girl fixes Bad Boy (which she didn't) and Loud Mouth falls for Shy Girl (which takes force) is perfectly original... yeah alright

 

yes! i agree that the prettyboy/badboy/cool guy ending up with the good girl is a cliche!! I mean naruto is a WORSE example of that along with slam dunk and digimon. Also the main character has to be a loser until the very end.....

I'm still hoping Japanese fans eat his liver. Because this is BULL all bull. An ending so full of kitten it is making the floor cave. I'm not even mad for the pairings anymore, everything is done so horribly wrong I can't even.....
NS did't happen (and I'm very much displeased about that) but the worst thing is the fact that in 2 chapters Kishi DESTROYED TEAM 7 (and the whole rest of his work). I thought Naruto was all about bonds, well thank you author for making me understand that you can kitten on bonds....

I've read differently but you still cannot say that NS is not the most marketed pairing on the show. They're the ones in the magazines and animated shorts promoting the show.

In the future you can read the overwhelming negative response to the end of Naruto(which there is a ton of ATM from actual media websites)and also hopefully The Last flopping to get a good laugh.

You're 100% right. Kishi was intent on running all of his characters into the ground... almost anyway. Hinata seems the only one safe in any of these situations.

Her character was built like that in the first place. "All for Naruto <3"
