I wouldn't say I would drop it. It's just the guy seems like if he doesn't have a fanservice after one chapter, he will explode. So yeah, nothing to say drop it, but I can see where it's getting too much.

Hi, I am a little new here, so i thought to first express my views of the site and the people who come arond it.

 

It is fantastic :) , really i've been to countless sites and finally found this , thank god lol ..

 

Anyways , I am a fan of naruto since Juli 2011 , back then i didnt know what MANGA was ... only anime.

 

When i started watching Naruto, my 1st impression was how it began, amazing storyline,good charachters and a lot of mistery (4th hokage ,kurama etc etc)

 

Now, i became a NaruSaku fanf from episode 3.. Back then my 1st impression of Sakura was O_O? What the heck? Why did she make fun of Naruto i mean it was cruel..

However i saw she began changing after the whole you are annoing (you make me sick thing) with Sasuke.

 

I saw her ''little'' interactions with Naruto even back then it was quite obvious that something will happen between them , i mean c'mon i even watched the filler arc with everything , huh..

Nvm, Shippuden i saw their realtionship on a whole diffrent level.. aka.. growth.. development... on her side like love? lol

 

Anyway, what confused me to a unexplainable level was the confession part .

 

Then i thought what ,why? Did she forced those feelings? Did she lie? Did she manipulated him? What exactly did she meant by ''If Sasuke-kun and Naruto both got hurt , who will i heal first''... lol wut?

 

What sorf of a question was that? That lead me to believe that she didnt care for Naruto at all.. I mean her confession seemd real, her feelings above all, but something was off....

 

Now then came another filler arc and i couldnt go on and watch the anime anymore..

 

I started looking for forums , information, explanations on what happened b/w them? What happens next?

 

I came to the NB forum - there they bashed the hell out of Sakura - worshiped Hinata - lol really? What?

 

I asked myself why? Why the hate.. I searched the internet and found why.. those guys werent kidding at all ,  i mean flaming and calling her names like she was real .. huh..

 

Then it got frustrating and beyond comprehension , e began doubting her feelings and truthfullness....

 

The next site i came by was narutopedia... by that time the Manga was at chapter 615 lol can you guess what i saw?

It was suprising really - the section of hinata was full of pictures holding hands ?? Slaping Naruto, showing him how far she came?WUT? Her confessions was overrated as hell , her actions too. I mean what the hell did i ve  just read....

 

The whole site was full of ,how Hinata was yeah suck a bada** and Sakura beeing a side charater , Kishi never inteded to make her? - which stands there till today .. lol

 

I was so disappointed and confused of Sakura , but then i began wondering what if there is something more to this?

I mean Japan has his own culture and traditions?

 

We are living in a different place and our mantality is in a way not the same - maybe?

 

Its a good thing that i watched other Animes to know that her character had more to what it seemed to  be..

 

Anyways, i decided to read the manga and i saw that it has almost nothing to do with the anime... huh .. What the actual ...?

 

There were things there  that in the anime well.... never happend .. ..

Still i was not convinced about her true feelings for him.. So what did i do .... Checked people's opinions on tumbler,tweeter and such...

And practiclly everything was clear as the sky on a sunny day. I knew she was not lying , but what did she lied about was my quiestion..

I never stoped beeing a NS fan or believing, but some personal stuff clowded my judgment .

 

I saw a lot of you guys debating about chapters like

 

Again 615 - her face was expressing Shock that Naruto and Hinata were getting closer.. that confirmed her feelings  for our blonde hero if not to 99,99% .. .

 

Now Naruto's feelings are  not debatable , its spred all over the manga...

 

Sakura's for Sasuke- honestly i did not know for sure... i know that they were wavering and disspearing, but really did she actually love him? Nah... Her confession was a state of desperation to keep Sasuke in the village nothin more.. She forced her those feelings and this is not personal bias at all.. Its obvious ... 

 

I've shown the 540 chapter the scene with the love fodder and Sasuke's image to a girl i know.. and she said ''Hm , well she kind of hates him actually and herself for loving him.. I loled that she  did not know the story of the concept behind it , but said AW HE IS HANDSOME.. ..

 

Whatever those are my takes on the situatuon, a long rant and an annoying one to be honest , i guess none of you will read it but yeah if you do.. THX :)

 

Again , i am very happy to have finally found people who think logically and not depent on FanFiction or twisting facts or dissin' parallels...





PS: Most of the Naruto-Sites are NH sites or SS dunno >.< as you mantioned , same goes for the manga translators...

Just the way the story has portrayed something's, it's made an impact where the majority of the fanbase views sakura as negative despite her efforts and care for naruto while they view hinata as positive despite little to none prior buildup. It's in a sense many people always just hold the criminal past on someone, like sakura because she was mean at first and hit naruto though mostly out of comedic reasons, they always hold this on her because its to some people, people are incapable of change, this is why many still proceed to view SS as an end pairing because they think sakura is incapable of changing which is quite the contrary, as we have seen her relation with naruto has gotten better, only upwards over the course of the story and it's had it's ups and downs like any real healthy relationship, it Sakura's relation with Sasuke just kept degrading and now it may be at breaking point if even she does not even trust him.

In the way things have gone though, fan popularity does have different sizes, but in a case like naruto, it's gone too far off course, it's like at this point to me, nh praise is going over hardly anything. It's like the 615 ordeal, canon everywhere, still tons of loose ends, for nh to be canon what about Sakura's reaction to the scene? What exactly was naruto thinking at the time? Etc, too many loose ends. Then 616 came, the handholding was not a major moment for him, just hinata. He gives the power to everyone, many expected naruto just to fight the ten tails himself with hinata or that the power boost would turn her hair red, well neither happened, escpially not the golden byukugan theory. At this point, with obito as a jinchurki, the thing that has been confirmed with hinata and her clan, they are not as central or important to the story as many think they are, no need for the eye of the moon plan, no relation ever given to them, in fact the old sharingan being derived from the byukugan was destroyed ever since the sage was introduced, meaning the byukugan only exists as having begun centuries ago as its own technique during the era of humanity growing and the tailed beasts as well, the centuries between the sage and the warring clan era where hashirama and Madara created the least village. The other is that the byukugan did grow and mutate off the sharingan but it became so genetically diverse, it lost its basic genetic heritatage and can no longer use the same powers it once had a connection too, in other words the genetics it grew allowed it to become its own thing.

When 631 came in, it was quite a shocker to most people, many ns fans predicted in 630 after seeing minato land, that he could turn to meet sakura and compare her to Kushina, that is exactly what happened. And the rest of the fandom freaked out, we knew this stuff for years, had the comparisons and the knowledge but everyone either complained to Kishi about bad writing or acted like the world had gone mad or tried to twist the meaning of such a simple scene. Now the after effects continue as those against ns are watching vigilently for anything they can use to try and downsize or overtake or overshadow the sakura-Kushina comparison from 631 or also claim development from nh has more meaning or ns is wrong or just a joke. 631 did make one thing canon aside from sakura-Kushina, sakura is the only person aside from naruto to have even been compared to his mother, most notably as a girl outside of his family who Kushina said to find and minatos words of similarity for both the girls is the only extension of this. I think too that it's very possible to be from an interaction between Naruto and Sasuke cause both of them will be in front of her and both of them are included in this.

Bolded finally somebody points it out this is why I don't think Kishi will focus ever again on Hinata and might end up with leaving her feelings for Naruto unresolved.

Pretty much this,  i like to read your long posts since the deviant site :) .. regarding the comparison i've saw so much hate desperation and not to mantiuon ignorance that when i start debating with nh fans i either loose the logic trail or get mad at the statement ....... Naruto has oedipal complex...

Do they know what this means? Phisically attracted to your mother .....

 

Naruto liked Sakura for who she was even before Kushina was introduced.....

I am curious of the Byakugan's origin. It's only only "gan" left we don't know too much about. I remember a NH fan posting a theory here a while back. But.. if that was true, then Kishi should've done something more with it.  Making Kakashi say there was a rumour that the Sharingan originated from the Byakugan isn't enough(I think that was what he said, if I remember correctly.)

But, before she said that, she said that after the war she was going to stop chasing after him once and for all, and by what she's saying, it means that she'll move one... We'll see about that for her.

This is a reply to @hellsbecca to her/his curiousity as to why NH and SS are more popular than NS. Ok first off in japan SS is the most popular one then comes NS (excluding yaoi) sasoriXsakura is even more popular than NH! nejihina is more popular than NH, its not even considered. The ones that are, and have had special events held by the fans are SS i dunno how many events it has had, NS so far has had two, Sasunaru has had an event and itachiXsasuke has had one too. SS fans in japan are leaning towards NS since they know its the endgame. In the west, as some here have said, NH and SS seem isnt larger, It just seems larger because they both the fanases in the west support eachother, most NH fans are SS fans which are NH. NS pretty much is even in popularity in the west compared to NH/SS. I'd personally pick SS any day over NH simply because they've had interaction, even though it wasnt romantic, but they're close comrades and know eachother well, id also pick Sasunaru over NH anyday as well...that awkward moment when you realize SS and SN is more logical than NH!! xD No wonder SS, NS and SS is popular in japan when in fact NH isnt even considered...LOL

Hinata here means that she helps him, but the " always " part, either a boost of confidence from Kishi or she just wants to make herself believe that she was always by his side. There's nothing else beside this here.

 

Kishi always throws fan service. 615, for example, has some fan service in it for the popularity of Hinata whereas the other side characters didn't get as much as attention when they were on a roll. It's very possible that he will continue fan servicing but not as much as the extent of 615 anymore cause from what it seems now, 615 was the peak of fan servicing and now he's more following into the plot.

"I...want to be by his side the whole time".

I don't see the translators provoking anybody. They do their best to provide translation for English fans

Paptala made an interesting post a while back. But i dont think what hinata said in chp 633 is like what she said in chp 573. She said she wants to be by narutos side and keep working hard just like naruo even if its just one step. I dont think its gonna lead up to anything, because she got what she wanted in chp 615 and her story has come to a full circle. Dont forget that shes an insignificant side character, so i doubt kishi will go any further with her since her development has come to a full circle, if she does get a moment again, i see it something like the 450 hug scene. Also, why do you guys keep saying that naruto squeezed hinatas hand? he didnt squeeze it, if he did there would have been an indication,the sound effects, he didnt squeeze it he just took her hand and moved it off his cheeck and held it to give her chakra, and there were those ripples over his hand to indicate he was movung her hand off his cheek. And as many have said, it wasnt romantic, no romantic atmosphere nothing, just chakra transfer, and hinata got what she wanted. But naruto also held the other rookies and ninjas hands as well, so no. Im actually quite impressed by how kishi made te hand hold scene look platonic with a purpose, cuz i was worried by her statement in chp 573 i was imagining romantic stuff and illogical stuff that wouldnt make sense, but kudos kishi.
